I'm glad to see you made it here safely through your long journey. I would love to have you join us if you are compatible. I've poured quite a bit of effort into the raptor empire and we are not simply a new clan on a new forum. We have been around quite a while. A facebook page (I don't know if I mentioned it but we don't use it much now) and a website. We are trying to surface above the ocean of pointless clans to show ourselves and its not easy. But we must live up to our name Raptors Are People That Organize Rebellion . You will know that when you see us in action. We support those who support us anyway we can and do the opposite to abusers and jerks just as quickly. I only purchased Halo 4 Standard edition but I will definitely be on Halo 4 when it comes out. It's great to hear from someone willing to listen. I forgot to post my clan thread URL here. We are on the front page now because our topic is hot. http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/14513-raptor-empire/ I think we should raise an issue with the admins and moderators because its just a waste of space and it hurts willing committed clan leaders like myself that actually try to get attention here. Most of these "clan" threads are only a page not even that. Work with me to see to it this problem gets noticed. The moderators and admins should have it set to auto delete clans that aren't posted to every month or so. Once again I agree with you. I do have my own needs though. I would like some people that are watching this thread right now to take a look at our clan thread and notice it because I am tired of being buried by all these meaningless clans where people "don't even want to post to". Could you help a raptor out please?

Don't worry tbone I'll be adding to it here and there. I read a topic where someone complained of all the clans being created and they should just join other clans. I jumped right on that opportunity. I'm going to post this link to that topic. We need to throw down at the humans and make them see the light of the bus!! We've been around for 6 years dude 6 YEARS! I'm a very committed clan leader and will never give up on my down! I just need some members that see things the way I do!

I agree with you fully. I've started my own clan thread here and struggled to keep it above all the other clan threads that would be buried anyway due to boredom I swear people just make threads with different names for more than one clan or when their clan is forgotten. You have to stick with what you made like the moderators say. Don't expect your clan to boom. Ive had my clan for over 6 years, it started on Battlefront 2 on the playstation 2. Now on the xbox 360 I get messages from friends saying they want to start new clans and I tell them you should just join mine because these new clans always fall apart, only a handful boom. I'm always looking for people who just want to have a good time but am willing for fun clan battles. If you guys want to step up and add to my thread so people can see it than do so here. I will post it here hold on here.

We at the RAPTOR empire have been trying to hold rallies every Friday and Saturday but we often run short on players due to the waning interest of the existing Halo's and the approaching of Halo 4 it seems. I'm looking to get a good amount of enjoyment from Halo Reach, Halo 3, Halo Wars, or another game I may happen to have. What we have been doing is holding a "rally" for games (almost always Halo) that we have and people decide what game they want to play that night. If everyone unanimously agrees on a game we will head toward that game. If we cannot come to an agreement we will compromise. Rallies start at 9:00pm EST on Friday and Saturday and will last for hours. Originally I was only inviting clan members but these are now public with members hosting. Directions: 1) Send a friend request to the tag Raptor Empire. Friend Requests will not be accepted but will serve as a pool to rally players. 2) When it is the right time I will attempt to invite you. Make sure you come quick because a game may be selected before you have a say in the matter. 3) Join the party. I know parties can only hold 8 people so the first to join and fill up the party will have deciding rights. If the party is full standby until a decision is made. Once we decide on the Halo we want I will end the party and we will start a custom game night and invite you too it or you can simply follow me CRY0RAPT0R because I'll be hosting it anyway. 4) We'll be nice enough to ask what gametypes you guys feel like playing on but we will most likely aim for the following Slayer Infection (We have some rather unique and interesting infection games. Weeping angels, raptorsvshumans, runaway train, daleks, megaman, Necroraptors and some others) Headhunter (Meat Wagons is fun) Invasion Race CTF KOH (The bus is pretty good) Insane (My naval battle maps are awesome once you get used to it!) Any other gametype available that would be enjoyable. NOT MLG, NOT SWAT no hardcore gametypes. We expand on the game not restrict it. There is a very good chance that the custom game night will be recorded with my capture card and put on youtube! If you want to be in the video simply play custom games with us! Requirements: No one under 14. Sorry no squeakers. YOU MUST HAVE A MIK! Some games require explaining! Don't ask to be party leader or to test a map while we are in the party. If you really want to play your map put it in your file share and let me know you want to. Calm fun loving attitude No spamming Respect all other players. Ask questions if you don't know what to do. Give constructive criticism on newer maps. No map pack is required but recommended. Most of my maps are on forge world. I will only play DLC maps if everyone has it. Wow I honestly didn't expect to see so many welcomes! I'm really happy to meet all of you. I would also enjoy playing with you guys on xbox live. I'm always wanting to play something with people that I know. I really hate having to throw money at new games when my friends decide to get bored with Halo. I can play halo almost all the time if I had some more fans on my list. Does anyone know where I can gather people for custom games here? I've been here for over a month and don't recall posting an introduction. Well hello I'm Cryoraptor. I like to write (when I'm in the mood.) Play Halo (mainly forge) among other things. I'm also a Chemistry Major in College and do enjoy learning about the subject as well as healthy eating habits. I plan to become a dietitian. I don't like twihards, squeakers, being ignored and jerks on xbox live. You will find I enjoy to expand on many things as well as come up with something new. I hope to publish a novel I have been writing for some time but don't write it to much at this time. Just because you cannot comprehend the superior nature of the puff doesn't mean we are not a clan. Perhaps you need to read our introductory page again. And, might I add, personal gain is never our goal. It is our divine downy duty to remove the toxic wool that has been pulled over your eyes to show you the light of Photons. Look around you, how many other clans do you see here that want to just enjoy themselves rather then gain prestige through brainwashing? That is NOT the only way to play a game! You can play inside your contiguous fortress of order and method. We will be outside of the bounds breaking the laws someone thinks they can restrain us with. Do not think we will not flex our fluff. Why do you need to have 8 players? Can't we do a 4v4? I do have more than 8 people in the clan, they just don't want to play reach because they are waiting for halo 4. I'll let people know but I still would like to battle if either team is short and on both kinds of maps. The official maps that you play and the unofficial maps that we have come to love for fun.

Well in that case you may be in luck I do have an invasion map, CTF map and stockpile map. Plus some new stuff like Naval Pile (a naval battle map with the speed pile gametype). We can play the original stockpile on the naval battle map but Speedpile is so much better. The naval battle gameplay may seem strange at first but once you get the hang of it then it will be fun. We could even have our members on both teams just to make sure its fair until you get the gist of it. I' usually play with my members on Weekends and Fridays later in the day. Are you up for some fun and perhaps some new stuff you never seen before or do you want to follow your "procedures"?

We originally started on SWBFII as a glitching/greifing clan who no one loved because we were the only and the best at it. Mini games and modding came later on the PS2. We eventually moved to Halo because of the freedom to build. Through the six years we have had many wars with other clans due to our preferred gamestyle. It was about having a good time never really about winning. That is what kept us together because most other clans were so absorbed into the MLG attitude that they didn't even consider us a clan. But we are. We are a clan of a different style. We make the most of the games we love and I have created many powerful memories for the players who would of otherwise been brain washed into playing legitimately and being told it was the only way. Those which I have created hope for have never truly given up on the raptor way and are still members to some degree albeit more distant. The RAPTOR empire has always best been run as a small clan with every member seeking the same purpose. Personal enjoyment. We don't need many members to be a good clan. What counts is that we have members that everyone wants to be with and that they form an aura of desire to become one with the "fluff" so to speak in code. Those that do not actively play now are still on our list and will return in the future to throw down once more because they remember how much fun they have had and will defend that if necessary. When we are attacked members that have knowledge and love for the "empty tire" will take up arms to strike down those who dare "shoot the bus". Tbone here knows how much fun we can have and knows people that can do "things" to defend our right to be "puffy". So now you know, somewhat, what we are about. Yes, I would love to battle you, but not on your terms and not today. We raptors have always played by the "rules" and boundaries we have set as unbounded as they may seem. This is nothing to be concerned about as we have no hidden tally of wins and loses. We only count what matters. That we ALL have a good time (and you of course) and that it will be remembered for years to come.

This map has some pretty awesome overhangs, a big desert, lots of forest, some snow, alot of ice, crazy mountains, challenging, confusing and deadly caves and for some reason it rains and thunders alot. I also found from deep strip mining over a full stack of diamonds in total, lots of lava and TWO dungeons. One is located close to the spawn. Head left to about X25 Y63 Z-62 for the skeleton spawn. The other one is pretty deep underground on the other side of the map. The snow/ice is located near the upper north corner.

I had a hard time understanding you but I admit I did mean to say they died before hitting the water in the Halo 4 video preview not the ground. And yes I understand it isn't finished yet. I agree with you 100%. This is the best part in any game. Breaking barriers is fun but that has diminished with the soft kill boundries added. I'd rather have spots that I can forge in not have to fight the programing to discover a small spot to work with or a soft kill barrier waiting for me. The waterfall barrier is a bit unnescesary I've beaten it to find a soft barrier in a seemingly nice place to work. Yup scenary is important but I feel if people want scenary they should stay where they are supposed to stay. I was pointing out that parts that are still cool looking and not workable. Finally someone who understands. No reason its not playable. What about all those places that have nothing wrong? I've been behind the waterfall and saw nothing to hide. The water is fine and the lighting is scenic. To me its just another lost opportunity. Its true as consumers we aren't as knowledgable. But I'm pointing out the facts, why are these barriers in pointless places? You made a valid point about the waterfall and rendering but I've been behind the waterfall and ran in the forests on the mountain and clearly saw nothing wrong. My clan was raised on Battlefront 2 and we've seen some pretty horid failures on the developers part. Shaky walls, bumpy floors, invisible barriers. Many people THRIVE on glitching and developer failures. Not to ruin the game but to have fun. Like the director, my members and I had the time of their lives being free from limitations. We don't care about ONE spot they were too embarassed to show because of a few defective pixels or anatomicly incorrect items. Many of us don't need those special features that polish the game and hog up my CPU and bandwidth anyway. Those people that want to stay in the map can and they can hide behind their masters creations. Not me, I'll be running free with the director here and my buddies, dancing and broken floors, laughing at graphic fails and falling through invisible holes. That should be an easter egg in every game.

You open up Halo 4 "Wow this is awesome". You put it into the 360. The first thing you want to play is forge just to mess around for a bit with the new features. You are in forge now and are very excited to try out this awesome new map. You spawn an object and try to place it where you thought was a great place to work but are apalled to find that what could of been a great place to forge and play later that you can't now because of a barrier in a seemingly pointless place. Why 343? People complained in Halo Reach that Forge World was smaller than what they saw because of these deceptive barriers. I lost count of how many gripes I've heard about not being able to go behind the waterfall for reasons unknown or ANY waterfall. Places that could of been great places to work have been taken away from us. That massive tower on forge world that shoots blue bolts into the air? I've heard more complaints about not being able to forge there then any where else. But why is this? Unmovable death barriers are another issue. We know they are there still but if I only get one additional thing from forge I'd like to see these barriers pulled back to believable stopping points like a wall or the very edge of the map. Many of the cooler maps I've seen are OUTSIDE where I was allowed to forge. Including that one seemingly random spot where you can be deep underwater and not die where gravity was weird and the people underneath the water are hard to see. I've made two naval battle maps. I would like to make another and perhaps have it even be in matchmaking. But I fear that I won't be able to go near that massive expanse of ocean I saw in the forge video for no reason whatsoever. I already saw in the rooster teeth video that players that fell out of the structure died long before getting near the water, please don't do that. At least make it so we can decide where we want to forge. Don't show us a whole house and say we can only play in the living room. I'm new to this forum and I'm sure this is too late as 343 is already far into developement of Halo 4. But I've been annoyed by this and decided to put my foot down. At least it could be considered in Halo 5 or an expansion for halo 4.
