Their previous map packs, namely defiant, were a serious let-down, over priced and offered very little content to be worth it. Sorry if I don't like buying over priced stuff, is it such a crime though? :/

Stop being confrontational, I love that one, sorry if I don't want to buy everything 343 pumps out, I didn't buy all other previous map packs from the other few games, don't know why suddenly it's going to change, Especially since its by 343. Their previous work on the defiant map pack for reach doesn't give me much hope that any future work is gonna be better. :|

No, more like how recon worked, sorta, preorders got the the special variant and regulars didn't have access to it.

The whole system is completely bacon, and according to previous issues, it sometime happens randomly. There isn't much you can besides wait it out, since 343 has no contact info, there no way to ask them to reverse it.

No, a playlist failing would mean the populations were literally empty like below 50 or something, but they never hit that, there was always a relevtivly high amount of people in those playlists, lower then the rest, but still not low. If you also care to explain Rumble Pit? VIP and all those other popular and fun playlists that were also removed along side the DLC playlists? Besides the insult, he has the right idea, why should the majority be punished? Its bad for buisness to piss off the majority of your customers, it could also be the company's downfall. All I'm really trying to wrap my head around, is why you 2 thinks this is such a great idea? There are MUCH better ways to be able to play your precious DLC.

Not as many people would buy the maps as you think, in fact most of the community won't buy the maps. Also, what about infection? In Reach it's the second highest populated playlist. If you want to enjoy all of what you payed for, then yes, you are forced to buy the maps, not very good way make customer relations better. They should have Map pack playlists, Playlists that play ONLY maps from the pack they come from. - Possibly the best solution.

Like a far cry map editor, yes, i would absolutely LOVE to see this happen, but i doubt it will happen anytime soon.

We need map pack playlists, not limit the entire community to like 2 playlists, thats not fair, thats not good for business(Future buisness.) what we need is a another Reach, where they had playlists for those specific maps, BEFORE they removed them for some ungodly reason, OR, increase the chances of coming over the maps in normal matchmaking, currently in reach, the chances of coming over a map is 0.001%. You don't want people to be forced to buy your products, you want them to buy it willingly, because if they're forced to buy it, then i can pretty much guarentee they won't be buying anything else from you.

I do have Live, lets keep that discussion where it belongs. How do i know whether i'll like the maps or not? Well, I don't, Yet, because we haven't seen anything but concept art. On top of that, there's always youtube, google, etc.. Which will show you gameplay on said maps, That is where i can decide whether the map is worth my money. Also, just because i like a game, doesn't mean i'll automatically like everything that comes out for it.
