  1. You automatically assume that its a finacial issue, what if i do not like the maps? What if they're not worth my 25$? Again, my previous point still stands, if they are not satisfied with the base game, WHY would they buy the DLC in the first place? They have to be successful with the base game before they start with DLC, otherwise, they're just wasting time and money.
  2. Update, I will now pay a total of 8 Cents, for it is all i have left in my pockets.
  3. Pretty much what i've been saying, DLC playlists that play only DLC maps from their respective packs.
  4. How is that possible though? Firing of the rings wiped out everything, unless thats what the shield worlds are for, Right?
  5. That's what i would rather, instead of making practically everyone suffer, they should make playlists that play maps from their respective packs, none of this limit everyone to 2 playlists crap. They need to do what Bungie did in the beginning in Reach, Noble playlist, Defiant Playlist and the only one left, Anniversary.
  6. I do, and my previous point still applies, if they limit access to most playlists for people without the DLC, why would they buy it?
  7. A game should be able stand up on its own, THEN you add addons, maps, expansions etc... The way you guys want it, is that people who don't buy the addons, don't get to experience all of what they payed for, meaning if people aren't satisfied with what originally bought, A VERY LIKELY chance is that they WILL NOT buy any addons. Also, cater to the majority, it's common buisness logic, because in the end who's gonna make you more money? The millions of people buying the 60$ disc, or the possible million people buying 10$ map packs? Dunno about you but I can guarantee its the first one...
  8. I'm a bit confused about the Didact, like what is he? An actual Forerunner? Or something like Cortana, a flash copy of an actual forerunner?
  9. So, according to your logic, it's ok to have products that are of ****ty quality? I can see you running a business, I can also see that business claiming bancrupcy a few days later.
  10. Skill based ranking system cannot work in Halo 4, weapons are now level locked, many and I mean MANY people would never see the higher quality guns like LR and all that.
  11. If I can't be satisfied with the base game, why on earth would I even think about buying DLC? That's like buying new hands for a broken clock.
  12. Weapons should be locked until the proper level is achieved, regardless of Edition you have. Armours however, since they have no real impact on gameplay, should be unlocked or whatever.(you understand what I'm saying)
  13. Again, refer to my previous post, it seems like you ignored half of it. I will make another example.... Say I bought Halo 4, but I didn't enjoy matchmaking, because of the lack of maps and gamemodes. Now, I tell a few of my friends about it, then they tell their friends and so on, eventually A LOT of people know about how bad matchmaking is, so little over half those people decide not to buy halo 4, guess who's out a lot of money? 343I/M$. So in this order. Majority Minority If you don't have anyone left to sell the maps to, then you are not making any money.
  14. Ever hear the term "and they'll tell 2 friends.."? Well this applies here, if people can't enjoy matchmaking in the base game, then they'll tell friends about it and those friends will tell their friends, then theres a lot of people telling their friends about how Halo 4's matchmaking is no fun. Eventually they'll just tell people not to buy it, and guess what? They're losing A LOT of money. So no, it is never smart to cater to the minority.
  15. He didn't ask whether it was worth it or not, he asked how he can go about getting it. Anyways dude, you could try Amazon for the preorder, but of you can't preorder before launch, there's always E-Bay, or Craigslist.
  16. Yes, but even if they have the option to buy it AND have the money, they may not want to buy it, because the quality of the maps. I know I have passed on buying map packs because the maps literally sucked in many ways. Plus, the people who buy the maps, are In the minority, it'd be smart, business wise, to cater to the majority, unless of course they want to risk losing money...
  17. I can safely say that pretty much everyone, watched that campaign gameplay they released oh so long ago.
  18. No, I know, its just that he says ALL but one playlist should require DLC, no I don't want another Halo 3 matchmaking experience. The DLC playlist for that DLC is the best way to go. For example, a pack called the "Reclaimer" pack would get a playlist under the same name, kinda like the anniversary playlist in Reach.
  19. I'm confused, is war games basically another name for matchmaking?
  20. $6.12. That is all I have in my pocket.
  21. I don't like people with your mindset, I'm sorry, but seriously dude, what the hell? Just because you had enough money to buy some maps, doesn't make you anymore important then anyone else.
