if you use the mlg gametype it will act like and overshield but if you do not want to play with those settings than replace it with an overshield with like a 160 spawn time

the map was not made with the intention of jetpacks on the map but i made soft kills just for the heck of it so it should be fine also i would like to say if you somehow got to the boat way in the backround there are no kill boundaries on it so you might be able to stay on it if you find a way to get there

Fly Trap Fly Trap is a 1v1 2v2 map that also works good in 3v3 the basic idea of the map is that if you push into the other teams base area they will be forced to spawn in the water making it harder to come back which is where i got the name fly trap the map has two neutral snipers a neutral rocket and a neutral custom power up it supports slayer, CTF, and KOth. map link ( http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/haloreach/thejchip/fileshare#!/?section=MapVariants&MapId=&GameMode=0&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&tags=&startIndex=0&details=30952539)

you guys should have a tutorial on what spawn times you should have on your vehicles and weapons and which ones to use

i did not make the bases but i have not seen frame rate drops in the map but i do tend to keep away from overlapping blocks and plus there are not many 5 by 5 blocks and most are 4 by 4 shorts

i played this map although i am not sure whether it was you i played it with......... it was not fun to me just because i played like crap and kept dying but it was cool

you are right if you do not use it correctly it will become rather stale and hard to traverse the map i have tried to fix this with multiple grave lifts and mongoose that spawn very quickly but you are a better judge then me so thank you for the feed back and i am glad that you actually reply to peoples post unlike some of the other forums. oh and i should probally consider this a btb heavy map because there are more vehicles than a standard map and they spawn faster maybe thats why i did not notice the stale infantry paths as you said but it still does not feel like a giant mosh pit of vehicles constantly dieing and respawning. Most of the flg caps were on foot but the fact that the special gametype I used let the flag carriers travel at 100% speed and it let the flag carrier use armor abilities in addition with the standard player moving at 110% speed Thanks for the feedback, thejchip

Cryptum Cryptum is a BTB map set in hemmorrage canyon. The story behind the map is that there is an abandoned UNSC base in between two forerunner structures. The concept of the map was to have a map where all the neutral weapons were UNSC and the base weapons were Covenant. It created intresting gameplay that is not normally seen. The Map is compatible with CTF, Assualt, and slayer with CTF being my most recomended I have a few gametype variants that i think work better than the standard CTF, Assualt, and Slayer The map was started by CHUGGALUG25 and max DESTUCTO and finished and improved by thejchip CHUGGALUG25 made the red base max DESTUCTO made the blue base and I made everthing in between and balanced the map. The map is balanced and fair and has a perfect community of weapons vehicles and positions. The weapon selections are the following: Neutral rocket launcher x2 rocket hog grenade lancher x2 armor lock x2 Falcon (spawns 3 min into the game) Each base has these weapons: Energy sword Concussion rifle plasma pistol x2 focus rifle Ghost x2 Revenant x2 Wraith Banshee Mongoose x2 Plasma Launcher Sniper Rifle (semi neutral) Map Variant ( http://halo.xbox.com...etails=30774442) recomended assault gametype ( http://halo.xbox.com...etails=30774470) Recomended CTF gametype ( http://halo.xbox.com...etails=30774471) Recomended Slayer Gametype ( http://halo.xbox.com...etails=30774472) Blue Base Red Base Neutral Bases

sick i had an idea like this only it was spartans breaking out of a covenant jail cell and escapeing but this looks awesome

just about there is one side that is just a perk longer but other than that ya and you really would not notice it unless you are the one making it

they have some they just spawn in after the loadout camera this view just makes it look a lot cooler
