Cant tell for sure BUT, there are Confirmed four living Spartan II's Kelly Linda Fred, (johns old squadmates) and Namoi working for ONI team Kilo-Five. Five if you include John. Failed Spartan Serin Osmen 019 is also alive and will become the new CINCONI once Parngosky dies, but she isnt really a spartan shes a failed experiment. Multiple Spartan III's are alive but the count is unreliable since they were built for suicide missions. As for Spartan 4's who the hell knows what the future has. Really it depends on where you get your info. But if you believe in the books as being Canon for the games theres only 5 left confirmed, others are MIA which all spartans are even if they are KIA. Except John whose listed KIA when we all know hes still alive. Hows that for taking after real life black ops. We will not know.

Possible working between the Proms and Covies is because all you see working for them is grunts and jackles the weakest of the covies. Easily controlled disposable units. Them seeing the Proms would be a revelation seeing their "gods" current or past in the flesh. In simple terms grunts and jackles are stupid and just are so used to having larger units control them in combat that they just slide into the role once the prometheans show themselves.

I could see this being a good idea. Mostly the forge world one would work better then the tank. Problem I see ( that may affect 343's decision) would be the issue of why a painted emblem would change. Now I have and idea for that too. What if you render a small LCD monitor on the tank that would display the emblem on a tank of the current driver. In real life tanks a HUD would display this. Since there is no HUD when driving a tank the Monitor could display it to show your battalion who's driving. Any other ideas?

But what I said was correct it is noted in Glasslands that the spartans attend the same ceremony that we see at the end of halo three with the pelican wing dedicated to Chief and Hasley. They may have left earth to return to thier mission on the elite homeworld but some of the spartans would be stuck with Hasley for debriefing and to be hidden by ONI till they thought they were needed or be allowed to be shown to earth again. So complain about my grammer all you want but get your facts right before you knock me.

it is already seen in the forge demo that the round bunker will be returning in halo 4 this could be nothing but it does push alot of emphasis on BG possibility. BG is a map that is a halo legend why mess with a good thing.

only problem is the cryptum was a self inflicted exile and if hes in a cryptum he wouldnt be able to communicate which he obviously does.

read the other books the spartans are already back on earth a few twos and a handfull of threes aswell as dr. hasley so could she play a roll yes. it is more reasonable that chief and the unsc crashing on requim cannot contact earth from inside a slipspace rupture. therefore the other spartans and hasley may not play a roll till later games. we have 2 months to wait and find out. if they arent in four there is still going to be a five and six. also theres a chance for spin offs granted the last few have been failures without more books or games everything is speculation. i mean honestly one badass spartan is enough for this story he has been from day one or none of us would be sitting here on a second generation team waiting for them to just tease us some more. maybe 343 has no idea where the story is headed next and is waiting for us to fill in some blanks and they will pick the best one. all i can say is wait for the games, unless ur from 343 u all have no idea.

There is no true explination if this or is not the didact aka bornstellar. It could possibly be him since it was his whole idea to create the shield worlds. The Prometheans are a sect of forerunner warrior class and it would make sense that if it were the didact that he would have some of his warriors with him. it is nether confirmed nor denied that all of the forerunners had perished. at the end of primordium it is found that chakas is actually Guilty Spark 343 so you can also make the extreme assumption that the crashing ship in the halo 4 campaign demo is the ship that guilty spark took over and ended up on the shield world because spark wants to find the didact and the librarian to find his old friends riser and vinnevra. this could also mean that there is a small chances of a human population unknown to the unsc still alive in this shield world due to the librarians extreme affection towards humans she would not like to let them die out or leave all her eggs in one basket with letting them live on earth. Also people have complained about the fact that the skull on the Knight looks human. it is said that the forerunners could have been distant relatives to humans and this would explain this. due to the fact this knight is much smaller and can be assumed a much lesser opponent it could be a forerunner with only one mutation which would render him much smaller depending on who his sponser was.
