Map: Chess Ultimatum Gametype: Halo Chess Creators: Death by Dogs, thtDARDYspartan Max/Recomended: 2 [NOTICE: I FIXED THE THE BOARD/SQUARES SO THAT THE SQUARES ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE NOW(BLACK SQUARES LEFT CONERS)] Very simply this is a map made to play Chess(the board game) online Halo style. The astectics on the map are simply just cool abstract ideas to make the room look amazing. How you play: When you want to move a piece you simply fly up to it and float next to it for a few sec. If you choose a piece you do not want to move, simply walk away from the board When you choose a piece you take control and move it to movable places on the board If you want to take a piece simply kill it how you wish When you play on the map it will be a little laggy, this is not our faults, it is simply that the gametype makes the game lag a little because it has to load all the figures, if you play and don't believe me just go into forge on the map and you'll find no lag at all.

Map: Cliffhanger Gametype: Pillar Creator: Death by Dogs Max players: 12 Recomended Players: 8-10 Cliffhanger is a very different linear/journey style infection map mainly because it's built on the pillar in Forge World, which I have never made or seen a map built there.(Could be wrong) You start at the bottom of the Pillar and each stage takes you to a higher cliff as you slowly circle and travel up the Pillar. The feel of the map is that you are being chased up these precarius cliff edges by the zombies. Players can die two ways, being killed directly or indirectly by the zombies, as in scared off the side of a cliff. Falling off does happen quite a bit but I've made it so that the suicide is worth 0 points intead of -1. There are also warthogs At the top that are destroyed and sent off the sides of the Pillar for effect and scenery, altough some can become a deadly projectile in the actual map. The zombie teleporter system is just like any other, if a telepoter is not in the shaft then that teleporter is not open, and the system works perfectly fine based on the fact that you will either sprint or walk into the shaft.(not jump into them, or if you go into them in hordes) If you don't follow the simple instruction then be prepared to have different results.
  4. Map: Storage Gametype: Containers Creator: Death by Dogs Max players: 16 Rcomended players: 10-16 Storge is a linear/journey style infection map that takes place at a storage facility. As you progress each stage gets harder and harder and will require more comunication and teamwork. In the first stage you can survive pretty easily without needing teamwork, but sometimes o1 or 2 peaople do get infected, then in stage 2 you needed to communicate as to where the turret man(Scorpian) neededs to be aiming and when the second zombie teleporter spawns. Then in the third stage someone gets on the turret and mows the zombies down, until another zombie teleporter spawns allowing them to come at you through the side, so you need to communicate when this teleporter spawns so you all can fall back into the back room where you need even more communication as to where the zombies are comming from. And in the final stage you need to use extreme tactics in the close courters room to be able to survive. So far nobody has made it to the end, I dare you to survive. FAQ: The Scorpian tank in stage 2, you can only use the turret; The Falcan in stage 4, cannot be used at all.

This message is not just for my map(s) it's for all maps, some maps that are desent or really good are just being left at the bottom of the page or the next page and arn't getting any replies, let alone views. If you read this please when looking at map submissions scroll to the bottom of the page, and go to the next page and at least look at them, hopefully some of you will reply to them so as to get them to the top of the first page. Please look at all maps, don't be lazy and only look at the first 5. Hope to see some old submitted maps at the top of the page soon.

  7. The rounds in the gametype are 8 min and usually if played with more than 10 people the round will not reach that length, it will usually end within 5-6 min. But sometimes you get the one player who is smart and actually survives(usually by hidding) and then the round can hit its limit, but in all my times of playing it I have never had a round go all the way to 8 mins.

  9. Yes I have done many play tests and it plays exactly how I wanted it to play.

Gamertage: Death by Dogs Map: Field ch. 0 Preview Gametype: Fields Fields is a rather interesting free-roam map, You can decide to play the game like a hide-and-seek game or a traditional holdout game. The map takes place in the entire Canyon, the cave, and a section of the island where you will find may abandoned biuldings and areas ranging from a pier house to a camp site to a pipeline to a grave yard etc. At each of these points of intrest you will find weapons from earlier strugles and weapons are only found at these areas, none are in the open fields. There are only two DMRs with 0 extra clips but will be usefull if you find the areas they were left at, and one sniper with 0 extra clips also. all other weapons are assault rifles, shotguns, and a few magnums. The Story: You have been wandering these fields for multiple days, no one in sight, empty biuldings and things just left to rust. What happened here? On the 7th day you spot something on the horizon, you walk towards it and a figure comes to focus, another person. You begin to run towards them not thinking at all, and when you reach him you shoot him in the chest. Then you remove its head just to make sure its dead. You think to yourself,"They've found me..." This is going to be a series I plan on starting in halo 4 and I wanted to get some sort of a preview out to everybody. This series is going to be called "Fields".
  12. These are some pretty sweet maps y looks of it, Vallation though is my favorite.
  13. Thanxs for the feedback, and all you have to do to make a word a link to a weblite is you start by clicking "link" and imput the URL and hit enter. Then it will paste the link into the text in which then you click in the middle of this and type the word you want to be the link and then delete the rest of the link when you click outside of the link it should still be the correct color.
  14. Gamertage: Death by Dogs map: Temptment Gametype: Tempt Description: This is a 4v4 slayer map that is completly indoors and is symetrical. Temptment is a very vertical map with long distance fights between different levels but also has some closed areas with close courter combat. There are only two power weapons on the map which are the sinper rifle and the energy sword. The sniper spawns in the middle on the lowest level of the map where as the energy sword also spawns in the middle but on the highest level, or the bridge. Gamplay goes like this, most people will spawn and choose to go left or right up the series of ramps and gravlifts headed for the bridge where players will fight over it. The bridge itsleft is very limited though so that players cannot camp on it with percison weapons and shot everybody on the lower levels. Players soon will relize this and then spread to the lower levels of the map. Issues that are not a problem(in my opinion and in most of my freinds opinions who played the map) - spawn killing - extremly overpowered weapns - one team having an advantage in there spawns towards power weapons Positives(in my opinion and in most of my freinds opinions who played the map) - even gameplay between long range and close range
