  1. Perhaps read why they weren't included in the first place. Google is your friend.
  2. Prometheans do not need vehicles. It would be extremely impractical- Prometheans have the ability to use slip space to teleport long distances, and carry weapons in their hands equivalent to top-tier Human Vehicles. Also, the Prometheans are in themselves (This is massively simplified) AI's in Robot Bodies. If we were to do vehicles, it would be extremely impractical- why not just make a big shell with an AI inside? However, this can be proved wrong as we have the Enforcer Sentinel (H2) that can solo tanks and some massive sentinels seen in Origins. And this doesn't consider that Forerunner naval combat was often AIs controlling ships and fleets. Tl;Dr- It would be a big plot hole. Why do it when you have more efficient alternatives?
  3. They did- they were called Throwdown, Proving Ground and probably some other crap that I never looked at. They removed them because no one played them.
  4. Why create new weapons? We have a plethora of existing weapons that have been seen only in EU or one game- Examples: MA5K Assault Rifle Jackhammer Rocket Launcher Energy Cutlass Halo Wars' Flamethrowers Experimental BR prototype (Contact Harvest) Argent-V Missiles SPI armour Granted, two of those aren't weapons. But my point still stands.
  5. They were necessary- I don't understand how Prometheans would be viable enemies, otherwise. OT- BS (hue) should have been a primary and had slightly more range- like how TitanFall did the Smart Pistol.
  6. wat I go in full lobbies all the time. I have no idea what you're talking about. OT- just get 12 people who have noble and get breakpoint. The maps are ordered so DLC takes priority if all players have it. I need the 'you ate all the chips' to even mine...
  7. It happens to me a lot. Don't worry, just wait a while and re-try it. It's just a server problem. I have uploaded multiple modded maps to my file share without fail.
  8. Technically speaking, it is that one. With a hellofalot of stuff removed and a bit added.
  9. Sorry for inactivity, I'm writing a script and forging maps for a project right now.
  10. Thanks for the advice. I had just done it beforehand before I found out my mic hasn't been turned on, and I had to do the video again. A re-record, combined with getting the video rendered in WMM (laugh if you like) so I could upload it overnight meant I was getting a little annoyed. Think I may try the next at the weekend instead. I'm pretty happy overall, for my first commentry!
  11. You do know that 4's forge maps do to the Xbox 360 what FW did in Reach, right? Granted, the X1 has more processing powers, so I'm sure we can expect great improvements to forge. But I don't think it's necessarily fair to blame 343 of being lazy when they pushed the 360 to its limits.
  12. What does that mean? I'll take it as a compliment
  13. Well? What do you think? Any improvements for the commentey aspect of it?
  14. Considering the story is the only thing I like in Halo, I'd say story>gameplay. In the same way I see Fallout better than Halo 4's online. Terrible mechanics, amazing story.
  15. No. There's a difference between the damage a gun does, and adding a completely new vehicle. There is a very large dedicated Halo lore community out there who value story over gameplay. Having a Forerunner vehicle makes literally zero sense. Like, seriously. Their standard infantry is already as powerful as the UNSC and Covenant's most advanced troops and vehicles. They don't need vehicles. Having human elements with reverse-engineered stuff? Great- such as the ONI REAP-X Quad Walker, which uses Hardlight on it's driver canopy. That's cool, but it needs to make sense from a lore standpoint, hence why Halo 3 and Reach are despised.
  16. I did consider adding that in, but I decided that adding that would spoil too much of the novels and require more depth to add in. However, it could be relevant that the Infinity's strike at Sangheilios killed Jul's wife.
  17. Read the Kilo-5 trilogy (Glasslands, The Thursday War and Mortal Dictata) and the Halo: Initiation comic series. They are all set between Halo 3 and 4. However, here is a brief summary of the Storm covenant; (spoilers)
  18. you cannot forge firefight, due to hardware reasons- mainly due to the fact that AI would have to be coded into every map and would be incredibly unstable with forge- such as consistently running off objects and running into walls. Basically, it's something that would be extremely difficult to do.
  19. Eh. I don't give one about multiplayer, as I have found that there are other games that have much more replayablility. However, I get a bit annoyed when I hear the Halo 3 Brigade coming and saying how new players ruin the series, and saying how we should essentially have a Halo 3 clone. Bonus points if they try bringing up K/D, 'casual', or other derogatory terms for players who prefer other games. And of course, the classic 'return to CoD'. Me? I think the campaign is what is integral to Halo. The camapign was what attracted a multitude of players all those years ago- before Xbox LIVE even existed- and it's the only thing I care that much about in the series. Oh, and forge. Can't forget forge.
  20. An amazing 50,000 word analysis of Halo 4's campaign. A must-read. http://343i.org/1ut
