People complaining about a PICTURE? You guys are looking for things now to complain about

Same for Arbiter and Jun and Didact. quite frankly. I wish people would come up with ideas that fit In with the universe than wishing for bringing back and removal. I just want to see what happened to Buck, Rookie etc. that was a huge cliffhanger. Arby is explained in novels, jun was killed. Didact is probably dead.

Eagle's Talon RP Sign up/Interest/OOC thread

griffin is not KIA, just pointing that out. Far from it;) And do we do promotions? -
The frigate, UNSC Minutes to Midnight dropped out of Slipspace in a fleet. Although there were plenty of ships there, reinforcements were needed on ground. One section of the fleet descended into orbit, launching thousands of pods, among them was Fireteam Griffin. As the pods broke through the cloud layer, the shock troopers saw the planet they faced; a heat-blasted desert moon with most of its atmosphere vaporised. It was even more vital now that they took cover. As pod after pod landed, the low gravity didnt create a kinetic explosion as much as a gentle touch down. Jacob activated the door, jumped out, and got to work. Looking around, he could see that he was on a mountaintop, below was an unusual ring of desert plains, then one solitary high mountain. He wondered why he wasn't dropped on the plains when a passing Pelicsn was vaporised by some kind of invisible energy shield. Up on the cliff above, a pod hit the side of a mountain, dragged down and hit an outcropping, causing an avalanche which killed three troopers as the pod went tumbling to its death. "Griffin, get up this road and clear a landing for the Pelicans!" He shouted as he began to sprint. On the cliffs were various Shade and turret emplacements, all of which were mowing down the ODST's like grass. He heard several sniper shots and various explosions before some more of the cliff collapsed. They began to make their way to a large, flat area flanked by three talk mountains on all sides. A Covenant outpost was set up in the middle. "Push forward!" "Go go go!" "On the left, left!" "Snipers, 2'O'Clock!" Were all things over the open frequency COM Channel. He dived at the sound of Banshees and emptied his battle rifle into one. "All units, push forward onto their command base. Our AI can then disable the energy field" came orders from the fleet. Good, they had an objective. The charge began across the open ground. All it took was one hit for the suit to be ruptured and then you were gone. He fired his rifle at a grunt ranger. It was sent flying, tumbling off the drop. Slowly, they were pushing forward. A wave of Shortswords flew by and dropped explosives on the enemy, thinning their numbers. He saw James run into a shade and mow down aliens with plasma fire. Then, silence. As quickly as it began, it stopped. The remaining survivors, 46 of 250 scouted the outpost, removing their oxygen tanks. There was breathable atmosphere in there. Jacob looked around until he saw an activation panel. He pressed it. "Good work men, worm in system. Pods en route to establish permanent bases, evac is on the way. Rest while you can, the assault is just beginning." He put his helmet back on and walked outside. The wounded and dead humans were brought inside or loaded onto the dropships. Aliens were thrown off the cliff. "Griffin, you are to report to Pelican 5/69, you are to assault the-" the signal ended to static. A barricade began to slide towards the spire. The shield, once transparent was now fluctuating in a rainbow of colours. He scrambled to get into cover, anything. He ducked into a cave, watched the shield burst, and everything went white in the implosion.

Hi! I'm BaconShelf, I joined in august and didn't make an intro. So this is it.... Many of you guys will have seen me on the forums bafore, wether shouting at people who want AI in forge or in a roleplay thread. I am 14 at the time of writing (Soon to turn 15 ) and am currently in year 10 at school, I am predicted A's and B's in my GCSE's and I hope to get into the games industry as a concept artist with my ICT and Graphic design qualifications in the future. I love reading, Halo books and other but not as much as playing games. My favourite games are Halo series and Fallout, both for the gameplay and highly immersive worlds they offer. If you haven't guessed by now, story trumps gameplay for me every time. I also enjoy writing, fanfiction for games and other stories. I am (and have been) creating my own Sci-fi universe, inspired by Halo (Among others) and have several books of design douments for various species, weapons, vehicles, armours... The list goes on. I have recently been trying my hand at audio and video editing, which is on my channel, XxsgtTeasp00nxX I hope to one day upload videos of my favourite games when I get a computer good enough or a capture card. On Halo, i have written various scripts for machinima which lay buried in the vault (The nickname of my computer) and will not probably see the light of day again. I also consider myself to be a fairly skilled and experienced forger, I feel that I have eye for great aesthetic detail in maps but I come lacking when making competitive maps. I am not so good for weapon balancing and spawns. I also love Halo Wars, it is one of the only games I actually play multiplayer, due to me not being much of a multiplayer person. Due to my love of story, I am highly knowledgeable about the universe of Halo. Now... The bad news. You know what is coming. Recently, I have noticed (and my parents) that I am spending more and more time on y iPod every day. Most of this is on forums, with 343i being one. In two weeks, I will be taking a break from this website, and others to catch up on school. now, to leave on a high note, I have compiled a list of personal thanks I would like to give out: The roleplay team- HaloGeek- Thank you for posting the original roleplay, and giving me a reason to stay on these forums. I would not be writing this if not for you. Next sunday, I give you command of all my characters in various roleplays. Use them how you want them ,it is up to you. Sykowolf- Thanks for being a great friend to me and everyone on this forum. You do a good job of making everyone feel welcome here, It'll be a shame to leave you and everyone D-38 Boss- Again, thanks for just being very welcoming and fun to talk to. Hopefully, you can carry on the Eagles Talon and other RP's Helljumper- I couldnt remember those darn numbers! But you are awesome. Seriously, it's a shame i never really got chance to talk much outside of roleplays, you seem like a decent guy, and you know a lot about guns Church- Again, you seem pretty nice. You are friendly to everyone on these forums, and you are pretty good at roleplays. Showstopper- You seem nice, it's a shame I never really got to know you outside of roleplays. Stick with these forums, they are a good place. Ledgend1221- From Bethesda and 343i forums, you are a really good person who should be a bit more well known. Hopefully you continue like this. These are some other honourable mentions. Caboose The Ace- Despite you rpoor spelling and grammar, you are a really nice guy, people overlook you for these things. Hopefully, you will continue to be a valuable member of the community SpartanCUPID- Again, you are a looked over member, but keep with the work you do! to those who do not know, he is making a machinima and deserves every bit of feedback, good and bad he gets! Stick with it, you may become like Arbiter617 if you carry on! Azaxx- You are a valuable member of this community, you greet everyone with the same manner of friendly conversation in the shoutbox, well done for being the top shouter. Barack Obama- Like many others, you are a very welcoming and valuable prescence in this community. there should be plenty ore like you. Insignia/Brony- Well done on the work you do in the signature shop! Youre work is just amazing, I hope you get noticed by someone out there, you really deserve recognition. Other members, there are simply too many to list here. But thank you all for being such a welcoming, helpful and caring community. I will miss coming here greatly. And finally, one that I feel is underappreciated for their incredibly hard work,,, The moderating team, Absolute Dog, Lil Dog, Jester, Twam, Spades, German and Mayhem, You guys seriously deserve some merit for keeping this website running smoothly 24 hours a day, se7en days a week and organising the community playdates. I can not thank you guys enough for the work you do. And with that, I draw to a close. The sunday after next will be my (Mainly) final post for a while. I will still be keeping an eye on this place though, so don't be surprised to see me looking around or posting occasionally. I will still be on Xbox a lot, Gamertag is BaconShelf and who knows? A lot can happen in two weeks Stay tuned.

Halo 2's soundtrack had far more songs that stood out from the rest, but equally had some pretty bad ones. Halo 3's comes second, it still has a fair few but not as many as 2 CE had a couple but not nearly as many as the others Reach had about the same as CE ODST had about 3 Halo 4 had 2 songs that stood out Wars only had one, the main theme.(Spirit if Fire) So to answer, Halo 2 was best in my opinion, closely followed by 3.

You don't lose EXP for losing. You lose it for quitting or being booted, you simply do not gain any for losing. *Sighs* you're threads basically sound like you want Halo 3/ODST MK II. And wrong sub forum... Again...
-
You are not right. Halo 2A would be a REMAKE of the game. Explain how free roam would work in the plot? Did you even play the game? And wrong part of forum.

Gonna be hosting some 3v3 lobbies on Saturday, 16th February. It will start at 2PM GMT(British time). Depending on applicants, I will try to rotate the games so everyone can play but if there is no sign up, it won't be on. Now, I say European because (No offense) but its seems that the existing lobbies that are on are only really friendly to Amerrica, due to American hosts. This is a chance for some of the British,French,German,Russian etc members to get a play date that isn't at 1AM. Obviously everyone can join but its gonna start at like, 9am in USA so if you can join, sure! So yes, just some info -2PM Start time -3v3 lobbies -Rosters will be rotated to give everyone a chance to play -No DLC required, I don't have them so those maps will not be played -Standard or Deathmatch will be down to a majority vote by the players in the game. As will map. -It's not competitive; don't rage if you lose. -Private or party chat is up to the teams. Anyways... If you want to join, post your gamertag below and I will post the rotations on Friday night. APPLICATIONS MUST BE SENT IN BEFORE FRIDAY SO I CAN SORT OUT THE PLAYLISTS! If you don't join, your space will be filled on a first come, first server basis. Games will not be done based in skill, though low level players will try to be paired with higher levels for balanced teams Application GT: Halo Wars Rank: Skill level (in your opinion): See you on the virtual battlefield!

I don't try to sugar coat my opinion. Try watching Rise if the Soartans or something, look at the fluidity of the camera. On this, it is very jumpy, it feels as if you are watching a replay of a game, rather than a battle. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? It just doesn't flow right, hence why I am offering to film them then out on my fileshare for you to capture. Other than that, it seems decent. And locking the Third-person view does not look professional.
