  1. Hey Vin, want me to do camera work and put em in my fileshare. In sorry, but you're camera work is awful; to be blunt. Now, the other thing is that when you want to do the videos, send me the clips like we said and I will adjust the volume for you so you can hear the voices and shooting and music.
  2. "Your air and navy forces may be superior, but I am willing to bet that our infantry is more than capable of handling your troops. Now, if you would leave us, we have matters to attend to."
  3. I'll help test, and I could help with the forge and admin stuff too if you like!
  4. Look, think of this as spartan ops. We don't play the other side, we play as whoever that is assigned missions and we do them, how it's done and the result is up to you, but we don't play the antagonists.
  5. ((Kjal is High Fleetmaster)) I am going myself to the planet. N'Jays radio has confirmed what we thought about traps. I will board Runner of Truth in two hours, I want Nova working on how to get that portal working. And send orders for a Shield Spire set up. And remind our hosts that standard issue armour has full measures against radiation; nuclear weapons would only cause kinetic damage." ----- Talon Outpost "Commander, we are not inciting to induce war. But remember, our ships are augmented with Forerunner shielding. Much more advanced than the Prophets, we have tested a human ODP on it, it merely chipped away at our shields. Add that this is the flagship of the High Fleetmaster himself..." He looked down and saw the orders on his wrist pad.
  6. Other Griffin members. Name: Del Affiliation(What class they are):ODST Rank: Corporal Race(if your covenant) human Appearance: scar across his nose, jaw not quite in line, shaved hair Weapon of choice: Rocket Launcher. SMG History: Del grew up on Earth, in the slums of Mombassa. He was abandoned at the age of four, where he managed to survive until he was twelve. He was beat up pretty badly by fourteen men but managed to kill three and injure another five. He was taken to hospital with his nose hanging off, a broken jaw and various broken bones. Navy officers saw the report and recommended him for Marines. As soon as he turned sixteen, the agents who had been looking out for him recruited him into the ODSTs though the childhood trauma has left him unsociable and quick to anger. Name: Holly Affiliation(What class they are):ODST Rank: Lance Corporal Race(if your covenant) human Appearance: long, blonde hair which is died red at the ends and swept over her forehead. Blue eyes and relatively short. Weapon of choice: DMR(silenced), M6SOCOM, pilot, Sniper Rifle History: Holly grew up on New Haven, she was good friends with Matt. Due to the heavily rural areas, they were both shooting from an early age. Her good eyesight and reflexes allows her to spot for Matt. They were both recruited after being evacuated from New Haven when it was glassed. She is Matts Spotter and Vice versa Name:Matt Affiliation(What class they are):ODST Rank:Lance Corporal Race(if your covenant)human Appearance: medium Brown hair, died red at the ends like holly. Blue eyes. Weapon of choice: Sniper rifle, battle rifle, M6 SOCOM History:Same as hollies Name: James Affiliation(What class they are):ODST Rank:Private Race(if your covenant)human Appearance: Blonde hair, messy and brown eyes Weapon of choice: Shotgun, SAW and Knife History: James was one of the spartan IIIs who were not accepted into the program. Though he never became a spartan, he joined the ODST's and became a Sergeant. After attacking an officer who joked about glassing, he was demoted to private and joined Griffin squad. He is excitable and prone to violence but is a highly effective fighter. Has an extremely strong hatred of covenant. I'm ready for another mission, or a debriefing thread or whatever you do. What'd ya think of the mission?
  7. Which faction specifically, talon? Arbiter? Storm? Other random one?
  8. "If you can excuse my commander, but he is following direct orders from me. And I assure you, we did not recirve any notifications like this. Only troop and armoured numbers. Which we have kept to. I am personally coming in my Supercarrier to talk to your Admiral. I am dissspointed at this effort to induce war." He gestured to N'Jay. "N'Jay, tell the fleet to meet the Runner of Truth at the coordinates provided. And give them the message personally. I will talk to their leaders to realise this confusion. Now, Commander. Remember, you are threatening my Shipmaster, and we are more than capable of defending ourselves, if necessary." He gestured to the platoon of sword carriers. "Do not underestimate us. And send word to your President that we are coming to negotiate." He closed communications, and typed a message to the Shipmaster. RUNNER OF TRUTH TO MERT AT COORDINATES 127506559952589. HIGH FLEETMASTER TO NEGOTIATE WITH HUMANS, SHOULD THIS FAIL, RUNNER TO DROP SCARABS ON CAPITOL AS FLEET ENGAGES AND DESTROYS ODP'S. WE WILL THEN PORTAL REINFORCEMENTS TO GROUND.
  9. "Nobody told me about a tonnage limit. Nor you, your officers or my officers. I can put you in to the High Fleetmaster, if you have a problem." He thumbed his wrist pad, calling for his Honour Guards to assemble outside. He had no doubt he could kill them all, but it was the intimidation factor. A hologram pulled up of a Sangheili wearing extremely ornate armour. "What is it this time, N'Jay?" He sighed as he saw the Commander.
  10. Jacob sat in the barracks. Despite a heavily successful op, he wasn't happy. He saw the others talking around a table. No, he felt hurt on his leg. Maybe that jump from the treehad hurt him. It was a long fall. He decided he'd get some sleep, and go to the medbay tomorrow.
  11. "I assure you, Commander, we are well within designated limits. Infantry and Vehicles are in range of your limits, you never said anything about artillery." He pointed to the Albatrosses and Phantoms building the guns. "AA guns and Artillery were never mentioned, so we have free control of what type of that we bring in. All of our other troops are not exceeding borders commander."
  12. The Prowler swept over the forest in orbit. On the surface, it was turning night; perfect time to drop. If the sun was just right, the pods would not be able to be seen in the light. Griffin Squad entered their pods as a countdown started. Beep, beep, beep, BOOOP! The Car-sized chunks of metal launched out of the ship like cannons. A picture came up in the pods came up. "You're primary objective is to assassinate this Sangheili general, your secondary and Tertiary objectives are to kill his friends and recover as much equipment as possible." Reported Griffin Actual over the radio. The marines had drilled the plan over and over again. Capture an elite and get out before dawn. Simple enough. The pods hit the ground with considerable force. Small explosives on the doors shot them away as the troopers sprinted to cover. Some banshees strafe bombed the soldiers as two rockets streaked through the sky and culminated in two explosions. They waited for twenty minutes until it was night, before heading out. After two hours of walking, a Phantom came into view. "Hold up." Ordered Jacob. He nodded at James, who pulled out his shotgun and knife. After ten grunts deployed from the Fravity lift, Del ran into the open, shot an alien in the head with his SMG before pulling back behind the bush James was hiding in. Three followed him, one was greeted by a twisted neck, another had its throat slit and the last hit a Shotgun shell to the face. The remaining six began to walk forward. Holly used the time the Floodlight was distracted to sprint under its belly and up into the bay. She shot each gunner in the head with a silenced DMR, before throwing two grenades in the cockpit. She then stepped over a pool of gore and shot a concussion round at the Grunt squad. "Anyone want a ride?" She asked over their helmet radios. The other four troops got in as she closed the doors and began to fly the ship into enemy territory. She saw an autopilot switch programmed back to the landing pads. She quickly adjusted its course; into a clearing of forest close to the camp and joined the others in the troop bay. "Hey, this junk is taking us to just outside of their camp. How sweet, huh?" She joked. "Yeah, looks like you have a new toy." Replied Del, fiddling with his Rocket Launcher. "Well, we are about six hours ahead of schedule. Your welcome." She answered back. "So, boss, what's the plan?" "Same as before. Matt, take refuge in a tree with sight of the entrance. I will circle round and climb through the ventilation shafts in the building they took camp in. I will drop into his chamber as Del and James cover the exits. While he is distracted, I'll shoot him with the stun rifle." He said, pointing to the Rifle on the floor, which sent numerous electrical signals to the brain and temporarily paralysed anything. "We will drag the body out, where you will spot targets for Matt to cover us and then get back here to provide quick evac. Then we kill everything else." The ship landed in the clearing, and opened its troop bay doors before powering down. The marines disembarked, covering each others backs as they drew closer to the once human-occupied building. They then went various ways, Jacob climbed a tree and jumped onto the roof. He then managed to slide into the shaft. He crawled until he saw the grate atop of the room. He waited for confirmation of all squad members in place. Del snuck round the back and saw Jacob jump onto the roof. He wished he had the ability to do that. He then began to poke for a cellar door. He tapped the ground a few times before hearing a hollow thud. He dug the dirt away before climbing through the hatch and into the pitch-black room. His VISR pointed out no targets. He crept over to the stairs out, and looked through the bottom of the door. One Elite, camouflaged. He kissed his Submachinegun and stuck the barrel through the gap, firing until the elite was dead. Thankfully, the silenced weapon was a surprise, as it didn't even get chance to turn round before it died. He opened the door, sprinted over and his the carcass, putting a crate over the blood. That would keep them from finding him for now. He then walked through carious hallways to Jacobs ID and activated his signal. James had the hardest part. He had to take out the Sangheili between the General and evac. He crept through the brush, sighting the main entrance. Two Ultras stood guard with swords. He pulled out his SAW and suppressed fire, he killed them both as Matt and Holly picked off the others. He threw some grenades in the doorway as anothe squad ran into them. The first two died, and two more had depleted shields. The last was unharmed. He finished off the unsheilded before shot gunning the Major. He gave the marksman-and woman- a thumbs up before entering. He smoke bombed some Jackals and continued on. He rounded the corner to see the general in the room. He shot the General, who raised his sword. He trigger tapped before his drum ran out, he dropped the automatic weapon in favour of the close range. Del sprayed the guards as Jacib dropped down, readied the rifle, and shot the heavy elites spine. 100,000 bolts shot up its body before it crashed to the ground; incapacitated. The three troops bound its knees, elbows, hands and feet before carrying it to the entrance. Del covered the ODST's as they scuttled to the Phantom. They got there just as it lifted off the ground, dumping the unconscious body in the troop bay. Jacob manned the main gun as Del and James got the side Plasma cannons. The ship then rumbled over the trees and opened fire. The camp, not expecting an air attack, had no weapons to bring it down and were mopped up fairly quickly. It then picked up Matt before lowering and storing various crates and weapons in the troop bay. Holly activated a FOF tag, and lifted back towards the Prowler. Just as the sun came up.
  13. ((Caboose, send it to me. Boss will just deny it anyway. Send it to me straight away.))
  14. Kjal looked down in the courtyard. New additions were joining his army everyday. He had even found a Lekgolo processing plant; in other words, a Scarab factory some days ago, and the Carrier was dropping in the Scarabs that were left after the Great Schism. They weren't as much vehicles, as Ultra-Heavy Infantry. He had already began building Scarabs, it would take months for them to get to Sanghelios. But it would be worth it. He would send entire Supercarriers full of the walkers in-system and drop the behemoths into their cities en masse. Supported by legions of infantry and vehicles, and their ODO's knocked out, they would be crushed in a matter of days! And failing that, he had a last resort of glassing. But why waste a world if you could conquer it? No, it would be a last resort. And aided by the Sentinels, he would be practically unstoppable! An Unggoy ran into the room, out of breath. "Sir! Our relays have detected a signal, coming from outside the galaxy!" It reported. "Outside the galaxy" relied the elite. He was puzzled. A new species? This would be interesting. "Decipher the signals, and send them to our Artificial Allies. Find out what they want." "Y...yes sir!" Shouted the grunt, hurrying off back to the Relay centre.
  15. The Werewolves, an upgrade if the UNSC's Wolverine tanks, and AA Wraiths had made a perimeter around the fortress. The Albatross transports were already shipping in Tyrant AA guns as a more permanent measure. N'Jay stormed into his command centre. There were various holograms of The leaders of fleets and soecies. Among them, 646 Eternal Nova, Kjal Votramee and Zhak Jakromee. "Sirs, I am at a loss as to our alliance with these humans. They have nothing to offer us apart from insults and humiliation. As you can see, from the scans of the planet, their fleet sizes and military have nothing compared to us. Furthermore, our ships are under their Orbital Defense Grid. One swift blow to their Capitol, could leave their leaders in a scramble for power in which time, we destroy those ODP's and hunt them down like the dogs they are." He noticed some of the Human generals clench their jaws shut. "No, right now, you do not have the strength needed for such an assault." Replied Kjal. "We wil wait, play the fool and ally with them. When they think you are friends, we will deal a crippling blow. I agree with your plan and estimations, but the time is not right, from your scans, they have nuclear weaponry aimed at our forces. We cannot risk losing our foothold on this planet. Study the Artefact, Nova has deciphered your data. The spires are teleportation devices. Get them working, we will silently amass an army. Then strike where they are weakest. Humans do not work well in cold weather. If anyone has anything to say, say it now. Otherwise, council dismissed."
  16. I see a lot of entire posts that are ads. I presume their spambots. Speaking of which, this forum does seem to get spam a lot more than others.
  17. Okay, I'm making my own squad- Fireteam Griffin Will post them later
  18. I hope MLG splits. Then people who want to play for fun can enjoy it more. Honestly, I want a Halo game where the campaign is about 20 missions and hardly any/no multiplayer. Just campaign... I think most people will stay for the story. Halo has a unique story, and is well written. I and many others will stay if just for that. Why does multiplayer have to be in a game for it to be good these days?
