Promethean Knights are as to Forerunners as Elites are Covenant
Robius5991 replied to kenaus12's topic in Halo 4
Seems like you have a pretty good idea of what the equivalents are for A.I units. Cool comparison, I like how you did it for Humans, Covenant and Prometheans. Good job. -
Sadly you're right, it's almost impossible to make everyone happy about a change to a game.

Really cool map dude. I'm not usually a fan of miniature maps, but I really like these. You guys did a great job co-forging this project!

I'm not aware if these weapons are available in loadouts, so I put magnum, since it would be my more realistic weapon combination.

Go Vplus2, I've had a hard time making my decision, but after some searching around the forum, I've decided that Vplus2 gets my vote!

Congratz on hitting MoM Doctor! You were the first person I spoke to on the forum and was thrilled that you were interested in seeing my maps. Since then, I've seen you all over the threads. You really deserve this rank, congrates!

I can kind of understand why a certain amount of players think this may be the ruination of Halo, but I think it's important to take a step back and reflect on the situation before judging. After doing so, I for one see that Halo: Reach got a lot of flak from Halo 3 fans for being too different. I must agree that there were a lot of changes, but I just went with the flow and ended up really enjoying myself. Now we are contemplating a company that isn't Bungie making a Halo game. However, as others have mentioned, 343 industries holds a lot of the Bungie-esque spirit to them, thanks to the presence of certain ex-Bungie employees. I am sad to see Bungie go, but I'm interested in seeing what 343 industries can do. Although I'm not thrilled about all the additions to Halo 4, I won't judge the game too harshly until I've gotten a chance to play. So... that's my opinion. Lol

Lol, thanks dude. I'm glad you like it. And, as to eveyone else (including spartan4104) I will share all your kind comments with Xx10chickensXx so he can also see all the awesome things you guys have said about our map. Thanks again for your support!

Wow, thank you for such an informative post. I really didn't understand the possible issues with A.I but you've given us a ton of well-explained information.

Halo 4 Regenesis (Map outside of Ridgeline)
Robius5991 replied to sheesh1991's topic in Competitive Maps
Wow, I am absolutely dumbfounded! Congratulations on this amazing find. I don't know if anyone else knows about this, so if you are the first to discover it, outstanding work! I love the map you've built. The structure looks very good and it seems like it would support some solid gameplay. If you are the original finder of this area, I would love to add you on my friends list so you could show me. Also, if you're looking into getting it game-tested, I will soon be testing one of my own maps on Ridgeline, so we could do them at the same time. If you're interested at all, give me a friend request over Xbox Live and we can talk some more. Anyways, other than that, I love your map. Great job! You get a like from me!- 3 replies

Who is your favorite spartan from reach?
Robius5991 replied to lilsilmarillion's topic in Halo Reach
Emile. He has the hard warrior's outter shell, is a brutally efficient fighter and just sounds and looks pretty sick. I don't think anyone can argue... but his death scene was pretty intense! -
I agree that I thought those guys were ODSTs. If they aren't then they're probably the Spartan IVs that everyone else is mentionning, since I read somewhere that Chief will be meeting with them around half-way through the campaign, or something along those lines.
-
Yeah. It's hard to tell whether they plan on bringing back this kind of combat-mini-games, but if they have a new version of Action Sack I would almost certainly imagine that Shotty-Snipes would be included.

Halo 4 Covenant Cruiser - Linear Style Infection In a Speceship
Robius5991 replied to Mattias25's topic in Flood/Infection Maps
Very cool theme. I like the structure of the map and you seem to have used a proper FX mix that compliments your environment very well. I must ask however, since the concept is that the Elites are infected, are you using a gametype which forces infected players to be Elites? I just ask out of curiousity. Anyways, other than that, the map seems rather well built and features what I think are some nice and original ideas. Keep up the good work!- 21 replies

I'm tied between Halo 3 and Halo: Reach. They both offered what I thought were spectacular stories. Where Halo 3 put you in the seat of a hero fighting to preserve his planet and his species, Halo: Reach put you in control of a Spartan who knew he was fighting a losing battle. Both stories were rather different from each other, but were each executed so well that I can't find myself deciding which was better. I also really enjoyed both multiplayers as they yet again offered rather widely different gameplay experiences that I both enjoyed!

When I was rather young I'd go to my neighbour's house and we would play Halo: CE together. It later launched me into further Halo gaming - along with a side-trip to the Star Wars: Battlefront series. These two were probably the pinnacle games that got me into Console gaming!
-
A little let down that its going to be Chief-clones again, since I loved having the Arbiter in Halo 3 and our custom Spartans in Halo: Reach, but I understand it's necessity for story-line aspects. I guess its just like the original Halo games... and ODST...

Huh... I was considering skipping out on the Season pass... but now that they're mentioning campaign DLC I might just get dragged into buying this. Although I do have a question: - Can I buy a seasons pass whenever, or do they stop selling it once the first DLC comes out?

Halo 4 Exodus ( needs some gameplay testing)
Robius5991 replied to Serhat's topic in Flood/Infection Maps
Very cool map layout. You seem to have well set your aesthetics (from what I can see). The 2nd picture would have to be my favourite, I've never seen the tunnel on Paradiso made that way. Very original stype, it comes off extremly authentic for the whole zombie/everything starting to break down - theme. As for your bunker structures in the first pictures, I really like them. I was a little worried about the bareness of the terrain, but your mention of flanking teleporters makes me think that the map should play just fine! Keep up the wonderful work! -
Halo 4 Warrior Avatar Armor - Free on US Dashboard
Robius5991 replied to Spectral Jester's topic in General Discussion
Yeah... I read into it a little more and I think you need to be in the States to get the avatar award. (Although don't take my word for it - feel free to do your own research).
