Very cool map, I like the inclusion of a video. It's always nice to see how a race map plays. Overall, nicely built and seems to be really fun, great job!

Lol, you beat me to my thought! I would have to agree 100% with Tallgeese's statement. With the loss of the Elites, it would only make sense to replace the Legendary logo which their faces adorned.

Vitamin PWN returns to the Moderating Team
Robius5991 replied to Archangel Tyrael's topic in Announcements
Lol, cool to see Vitamin Pwn take up the mantle of moderator. From what I can see, he was great at his job when he used to be a moderator (I wasn't here) from what I've heard others say, so congratulations on the re-promotion and hope to see you around the forum more!- 12 replies

Alright, I will have to say that I have just finished doing additional reseach into the topics. I have surmised that you have 2 out of 3 answers correct, but here is my logic behind all of this: A1. *Edited out* you are correct for this answer! - my bad, just did further research! A2. As for this question, I had a friend help me with this one and, after working together, we think the answer is: 4 CuSCN + 7 KIO3 + 14 HCI = 4 CuSO4 + 7 KCI + 4 HCN + 7 ICI + 5 H2O ** Edited* [i just looked into this and found that I am correct, the answer I posted is right.] As for your question of where they are i's or l's - I thought it would be pretty evident. -> For the (KIO3) it would have to be an "i" for Iodine, since there is no KL type element, only K=potassium, so it would have to be an "i". Which would make this= Potassium iodate. ->As for (HCI) I thought this was also evidently H (hydrogen) - Cl (chlorine) [since as far as I know, H-C-I cannot be put together, therefore it could only be HCI=Hydrochloric acid ->As for (KCI), my understanding is that this is also an impossible chemical combination. Therefore, it would have to be KCI= Potassium chloride. -> As for (ICl), this should be easy enough aswell. The first letter is "i" for Iodine and then the "CL" would be chlorine again, since if there were 2 "i"s then it would be I2 before the C. So, this would be=Iodine monochloride. A3. Totally correct. Thanks for looking it up, lol! So, I have done my reseach and, feel free to look into it more if you don't believe me, but I think that your score for this would be 2/3. Anyways, thanks for playing Director, but I think that I may have finally bested you (I hope).

"Well, you'll have to do better than that" and "I know this code by heart" Lol! You're pretty awesome Director! But seriously, is the only way to earn the Vitamin P achievement to defeat you by giving you a question you fail to answer? Fine, and if you say I must do better than I shall try. I've had to do a little research to ask you these questions, as the sciences are not my strong suit, I'm more of a historian, but I will see if I can challenge you a little. Q1: How is the lymph system involved in the absorption of the products for digestion? Q2: Balance for me (and I mean in the field of chemistry): CuSCN+KIO3+HCI === CuSO4+KCI+HCN+ICI+H2O Q3: What was the first map I posted here on the forum? (Yeah this is kinda cheap, but not impossible to find...) Triple threat, I hope this is slightly more challenging for you Director Thanks for playing, this is pretty cool.

Well... I meant as in combatable enemies and since they're bodies, they aren't confirmed enemies, but rather "theoretical enemies" Lol - reference to another thread - Anyways, we don't see Skirmishers either, but I think they may be a sub-species of the Kig-Yar, so I'm not certain if it counts. So, if I am incorrect, I yield once again to the Director's superior knowledge. "bows" So, let me try again. Did you know that Halo was originally suppose to be a title on the Mac, back in 1999, when Bungie was in development with Steve Jobs and the Apple Macintosh company? However, only a year later, Bungie was purchased by Microsoft, who secured their title as the premier launch title for the Xbox.

Very well director, I have yet another challenge for you. (I'm sorry if I keep posting here, I just find this is a really fun game!) So, here's my question: What does this mean? 23-8-1-20 4-15 9 8-1-22-5 20-15 4-15 20-15 5-1-18-14 20-8-5 22-9-20-1-13-9-14 16 1-23-1-18-4 Can you break the code?
-
Yeah, I would imagine that there would have to be coordinates - because it would be an unfortunate mistake not to have such a valuable feature within forge section.
-
Interesting idea to speculate on. Who knows what will come next, it might be a neat twist for one of the future games.
-
Did you know that Halo: Reach is the first Halo game to feature all Covenant races? Logic: -Engineers are not in 1-3 -Drones are not in Halo Wars -Elites are not in ODST -etc...
-
Sounds like an extremely cool idea. I'm not sure if 343 would consider such a thing, but who knows. THFE has gotten even more popular, as far as I understand, since their maps were put into the playlists, so who knows, maybe this isn't such an improbability. I'll have to keep my ear open for any such news. Anyways, very cool idea!

Technically true, nice way of surmising that. I should have said that when I was told I was wrong. You loopholed the loophole! (Btw, i updated my response to you, sorry that it didn't all get put in you quote. Anyways, very good game, I'll come back to this some other time! --> Just came to mind, if I were to loophole the loophole that you used to loophole my loophole (lol this is getting confusing), then I would say, who would leave seven girls, with seven bags, filled with seven cats and seven kittens each alone in a bus? It would seem logical that they would supervision, I mean let's be serious here, that's a lot of cats... Lol! Anyways, why would they be in the bus alone? So, this is my loophole, to counter the loophole that you used to loophole my answer... Anyways, talk to ya later Director!

Oh, hey H2AK0N, didn't realise you were on the forum. Yeah for sure, next time I'm on I'll give you a tour of the place. If you're interested, we can even get a lobby together on it and play it. It was really fun when we tested it last, gave everyone some great laughs and scares! See you on Live later!

Your math would be correct, if there wasn't a bus driver! Lol. That would make it 10,992 legs in the bus. But very close though! This is a twist on an old puzzle I was tested with when I was younger, it's a very tricky way of doing it, and I came up with the same answer as you when i last did it. Anyways, good game. I tip my hat to you for your masterful mathematical skills. It took me so long to calculate it in my head when I did, you got to your answer in like 1 minute, extremely impressive.
-
Lol... this would have been convinient when my Xbox broke two months ago. It had been going for 7.5 years strong (yeah that's right - the old white one has some lasting power), however it finally got the RROD. Anyways, this is cool, I have a friend considering to buy an Xbox, perhaps this will motivate him further.
-
Well done director, I will have to give you a trickier one... If there are seven girls on a bus, with each carrying seven backpacks, each filled with seven cats, who each has seven kittens with them, how many legs are there within the bus?
-
Looks like a pretty cool map. I could see this playing very well for infection, since there seems to be a lot of line-of-sight blockers, while the multi-leveled structures seem that they would lead to some interesting Slayer gameplay. Overall, it seems like a nicely built map. The onyl thing I could suggest for the post would be more pictures, but this is not a necessity, but rather a personnal preferance. I find that it helps people have a better idea of what they're going to download. Anyways, keep up the great work!

Alright director, I think I've got a good one for you. -A blind man saw pears on a tree. He took no pears and he left no pears. How is this possible?

Congrats! I've seen you on the forums a lot, but I never realised that you hadn't done a formal introduction. In that manner, welcome to the forums, and as for reaching Trusted Members, congratulations on joining the ranks! I'm working towards Dedicated, and hope to see you there one day, once we've both reached this prestigious goal!

When was the first time you played Halo?
Robius5991 replied to RANMAN10's topic in General Discussion
I think it was like 2006 when I started. I went over to a friends' and over the period of a week, we played through Halo CE (took us that long because we couldn't stay on for too long, we were rather busy with other things). Then afterwards, while be were pumped for the Halo 3 release, he bought Halo 2 and we wrecked through the entire game in just a day or two. Loved the matchmaking on original xbox. Then, I was the one who upgraded to Xbox 360, so I bought Halo 3 and we both played alot. Then, sadly, he moved away. I played Halo 3 for a while (on another account - that I didn't recover for some reason). Anyways, stopped for about a year, but then got back into it quickly with my new account and loved it even more than before. When ODST came around the corner, I did not buy it right away, but rather bought it off a friend who hated it and saved a bit money. I'll admit, not the best Halo game, but the firefight was a cool addition and I loved having the Vidmaster Challenges added to Halo 3. Quite a challenge, but I got them all then rocked my Recon helmet! Halo Wars, I played the demo and didn't think I would like it. I visited another friend and played it with him and quickly realised that I was right, I didn't like the game. Then, Reach came around the corner and I jumped right in! Although it was different from other Halo games, I enjoyed it. I still play to this day, mainly with Forge right now (yeah that's right, look me up in the forge section, you should have no trouble spotting a few of my maps!). Anyways, really looking forward to Halo 4 aswell, can't wait to see where it brings us!- 33 replies

Maybe on the side of the flag they might add a small holster where the magnum would be. I know this would be impractical and probably not within the game, but it would be one way to explain where the magnum comes from. If not, I agree with the other theory discussed in the thread, that the soldier would have his magnum on his person somewhere, even if it's not his primary of secondary weapon. Perhaps it should be placed somewhere on the body like the knife is. Just a thought.
