Don't want to be a critic or anything, buth here the thing: I do understand that in objective game such as Capture the Flag, all players should do the objective. But please be aware, some players are not intending to be an ass to you. Some people just want to act like 'support' teammates and 'support' their team and not do the objective. You obviously never played King of the hill, because ALL players are doing the objecive on there, same as Oddball. Again, some players want to 'support' their teammates. Usually, when I play a game of Capture the Flag, there's usually some players trying to get the flag. Agreed. We all get stupid teammates, I'll get teammates who want to get in the Warthog, see me trying to get in, and take off. But, this is how the online gaming community is. Just like the game box says, online gameplay is NOT rated by the ESRB. First off, just because it's called 'Team Slayer' doesn't mean it has to require teamwork. It just means that players will be put into teams and they have to score for their team by getting kills. It doesn't require 'teamwork' at all. There's not going to be anybody barking out orders, directions, and team communication orders. This is all part of gaming. Also, calling those people 'kids' is just immature behavior. Just because they are acting strange doesn't make them a 'kid', even if their behavior assumes they are, which is another problem with the community.

Time to laugh about how laughable this thread is. Last time I checked, there was a 'Join Session In Progress' in Halo 4. So, there should be a game that doesn't allow you to quit? Have you ever heard of real-life situations that could be barring people from their games? Basically, you're saying that 343i is encouraging to people to quit without realizing the Join Session In Progress the game has. Also, I think you're just assuming things if you believe that people quit games as soon as it gets hard. Lolwut? I laughed even harder when I saw the lie in the first sentence of this quote. The Drop in Drop Out system is made to rebalance teams if someone quits, not to tell people to quit. No. My thought is, deal with it. The game has a Drop In Drop Out system, not some sort of harsh quitting penalty.

In my opinion, yes it should. Why? Because I'm kind of sick of trying to find someone to do a co-op matchmaking with. It's gets annoying. What do you think? Should co-op matchmaking be implemented in halo 4? Why or Why not?

I have recently posted several complaint threads regarding unfair kills, overpowered weapons and vehicles. But here is a 10 things of what makes me ragequit out of a match. 1. One hit kills - I'm getting sick of attempting a beat down, only to die the moment I'm about to do it. Why does one melee hit kill you in one shot every now and again. Seriously, does this game has to be so challenging? 2. A lack of a practice mode - I've never seen a multiplayer practice mode in Halo. I don't know why I have to go through massively inviting my friends in order to get better. If I play against computer-controlled Spartans that has the same physics as a human-controlled spartan, I can get better and more prepared for matchmaking. I don't know why a majority of these FPS games lack this feature. 3. Overusing the Sniper Rifle - I hate Snipers, which means I hate Team Snipers. Why do I hate Snipers? Because they are too overpowered, they often kill you in one hit, and some people obsessively overuse it. Seriously, is there a playlist that doesn't feature a Sniper Rifle? Because the people who use it are most likely using it as an advantage. But I am having difficulty getting a kill with it. 4. Impossible Kills - There have been several occassions where I shoot an enemy player and when his shields go down, he suddenly vanishes and the next thing I know, I'm down on the ground. What the hell? Why can't I do that? He's not using active camouflage either. If he was lagging, I can understand that. But why does killing someone has to be so difficult? 5. No Co-op Matchmaking - Halo: Reach has a matchmaking, why does Halo 4 lack one? 6. Rocket Hogs - Honesltly, they need to remove these things. I am sick of almost single-handedly killing a player until a rocket gunner shoots a rocket at me, instantly killing me and saving his little skilled friend. They wasn't even used that much in Reach and was easy to dodge in CE. Why must they be overpowered in Reach? This is the reason why I can't play my favorite playlist (Big Team Infinity Slayer) because of that rocket hog. 7. Headshots don't appear to be registering - I remember shooting someone in the head several times, did they die? Nu huh. This may be a glitch, but I wonder why it's happening. 8. People who run off with the warthog - In each of the halo games (excluding Halo 3 and 2), I've been meeting selfish pricks who jump in a warthog, see me trying to get in the gun or passenger seat, and drive off, not giving a single f*ck about the person needing a ride. In Halo PC, all you had to do is shoot the warthog or the player in it to signal a message alerting them that a teammate needs a ride, but I guess it doesn't work in other Halo games. 9. Having to waste more money to get War Games & Spartan Ops - Apparently, they had to make War Games and Spartans Ops to big. Bad news? I only have the 4GB Xbox 360 Slim Version that didn't come with a hard drive which costs $100 to get. I had to go to Radioshack to get a flash drive exclusively for my Xbox 360. I do understand that War Games and Spartans Ops are too big to handle on Halo 4, but what I don't understand is why we need to buy a hard drive which should've came with the Xbox. 10. Being unable to access Theater - Why must we need a hard drive to access theater? Why can't we use a flash drive or the available space we have on our Xbox? This is also something I kind of understand but can't they make it where it goes to any available memory unit and the Xbox itself? These are the 10 things that makes me want to rage quit. Thanks

Kind of funny how people seem to think that just because a certain species or character appeared in the original trilogy, its going to make a comeback in the reclaimer trilogy. Arbiter: He went home at the end of Halo 3. Though, there is some possibilties he might return, I extremely doubt it. Also, be aware that 343 Industries is not going to put an elite vs elite battle in any future games. It'll sound like Arbiter is an elite terriosts who is fighting for the humans. Avery Johnson: He's dead. Why do people think that just because they saw some technically impossible legendary ending from the first game where Johnson survived the destruction of the ring, he can survive getting beamed on and a destruction to another halo ring? It doesn't work that way. He's dead, just putting him back or even reviving him would break the canonical story. Flood: The Flood is defeated and is an outdated species. No, it will not return unless the master chief stumbles across another halo ring.

Honestly, I'm sick of getting overwhelmed because someone in a rocket hog has the ability to kill me with one shot. I can't even play Big Team Infinity Slayer because of the overpowered vehicles. It's like I'm playing with a bunch of gangsters in one of those crib cars shooting bombs at people on the streets. Another thing I hate about this game is that the damn carbine is not powerful enough to kill an enemy, even in headshots. Though, I am getting better at this game, I can't even play Big Team Infinty Slayer (one of my favorite playlists in Halo) because of the overpowered weapons and vehicles. And then I am having trouble doing the same things. The rocket hogs are way too overpowered, needs to be turned into a machine gun, or needs to be tweeked so it's easy to dodge it. I am on a level 20 and is getting better at this game, but can't get better if players are more powerful than me. It sucks now that the first thing some players do is grab a sniper rifle or jump into a gun seat of a warthog and start cruising in it. I can't even do that because the driver will randomly leave the vehicle, die, or the driver is just roaming in areas where it's easy to get owned. end of rant

Wow, after reading this post (and the replies at Halo Waypoint of the same thread I posted), I can see that some people have mental issues understanding that just because they're better than me doesn't make their opinion superior. CoD multiplayer is even worse. You get killed in TWO shots and the overused bombs that are thrown by several airplanes because of some highly skilled noob. And again, why the hell do YOU think I'm comparing this game to CoD? Why are people constantly calling someone 'kid' because they admitted that they are having trouble playing a competitive multiplayer mode? And why in the world do you think this game doesn't need a 'practice mode'? Custom Games do NOT help, and King of the Hill do NOT help because you are still playing against human players. I need a practice mode where you play against bots. By 'bots', I don't mean grunts, hunters, elites, jackals, or other character from the campaign. A mode that hooks you up with ai-controlled spartans to help you practice. I am getting sick of getting matched up with people 10x better than me. Though, I do admit that I am getting kind of better. But I'll get even better if there was a practice mode. Seriously you grown guthole, you're not 'superior' because you think you know everything. This isn't how learning how to play the game works. Start being helpful instead of a complete smartass. Thank You.

I have played my last game of War Games because it is way to damn hard. Overpowered weapons, unfair kills, overused tactics, and impossible kills. I am having a hard time getting kills because of unfair deaths. I am also sick of getting paired with people better than me. So, somebody needs to address this, tweek it, or at least place a combat training feature so that I can get better at this game. /rant

Wow, the people who don't like it obviously never dealt with quitters in the previous halo games. And why the hell are you going to expect to be on the winning team? Are you that desperate? If anything, 343i should just tweek it. They did this for a reason, and that is because of quitters. If you want to get owned because a 4v4 match turned into a 4v1 match because of a quitters, you have issues.

I like the campaign, honestly, I do. But here is 2 concerns I have about it. What is with the new designs of the Grunts and Jackals? The grunts looks like they had plastic surgery while the Jackals looks very different. Hunters are very tough on Normal. They could kill the player with only ONE shot from the cannons as well as their shields. Someone answer me.

For those who is going to say that the 'JIP' system should be removed. Let me tell you something: The past Halo games are known to lack any sort of 'Join Session in Progress', causing teams to be very imbalanced. Then, you have people that quit matches due to legitimate or illegitimate reasons. Halo: Reach matchmaking was very imbalanced because of the lack of a join session in progress feature. I'm sure it's not because of a net code issue, but because Bungie are too damn lazy to implement the feature. Instead, they decide to create an even more broken feature called the 'quit ban'. Basically, the game is working as a truancy officer and punishing you if you don't finish games. Not only was this useless, but was also broken. Anyone can sit out a 10-minute ban, join matchmaking again, and continue imbalancing teams. At first, I was with this idea, but until I realized just punishing people for a game they don't technically have to play is just plain dumb. The 'join session in progress' is useful because it rebalances teams who have been shortened due to quitters. Yes, it has some disadvantages in it that I'm sure 343i will fix, but this is what Halo should be like. Halo: Reach and Halo 3 failed because Bungie failed to realize the correct solution to quitters. Quitters shouldn't receive any form of punishment other than a dock of credits (or rank). This was like being banned from Mcdonalds because you failed to finish your half-eaten Big Mac. These games are NOT truancy officers. It sucks now that developers are failing to implement the appropriate solution to certain gameplay issues instead of creating virtual gaming guidelines for players to follow. Without a 'Join Session In Progress' feature, the matchmaking system would be completely broken and quitters would just cause other people to give up and quit the game themselves because it's unfair how the other team has more players than the other. So if you're going to say that the Join Session In Progress is going to be removed, you have virtual gaming issues. Thank You. -
I want to start a Halo 4 Flood Tournament this week. The Flood Tournament will be held Saturday at 3:00PM Central Time. Here is the general characteristics of the tournament: -Anyone who has Halo 4 is allowed (no age restriction set) -Will be 16 players maximum -The set map will be randomly decided by the first person in the lobby -There will be 10 rounds Before I get into the information about this tournament, I want to announce some ground rules in order to ensure a pleasing game experience -Microphones are not required. -There is no age restriction for this tournament. However, it is recommended that the player be at least 13 years old to join (due to the immature treatment children get on Xbox Live) -Splitscreeners are not allowed (to save space for new players) -Sniper Rifles are not allowed to be used (if applicable). -Camping in areas unreachable for the Flood will not be tolerated -Idling or inactivity is prohibited -Only Human Weapons may be used (excluding the sniper rifle) -The game will start once it has been determined that the game will start. -The first person who joins the lobby will be the one who decides what map we play on. If that person declines or rejects offer, then it goes to the next person that joins. If you do not like the map that person has chosen, you are welcome to leave the lobby. Again, only the first person that joins the lobby will choose the map. -If that person doesn't know the map he wants to do, he may decide to have the host choose. Nobody will be promoted to leader. -Demanding or requesting a change to a game setting is not allowed. -Only 'Flood' will be played. That's the end of that. I am planning on doing the tournament on September 17th, 2012 at 3:00PM Central Time. If you want to join, please type /join in this thread and I will add you on the list. I am here to declare that the bickering between the Halo and Cod community needs to come to an end. Halo 4 and Black Ops II may not be in competition with each other, but the communities are. The minute I see someone mention Cod on this forum, (outside of the General Gaming forum), is the minute I will start getting angry. The more you moan about how Halo is better than Call of Duty or how 'Call of Duty' is not too 'characterisitc' is just giving Call of Duty more reputation than ever. Who cares if Halo 4 is better than Call of duty? It's YOUR opinion. Your opinion isn't official, nor is anyone else's opinion. That doesn't mean you should pull out your knight shields and start declaring that Halo 4 beats Call of Duty. Anyone agree?

Just got Halo 4 yesterday and let me tell you now, I am not happy about the skill required to play multiplayer. I can get some kills, but then I'll have to deal with getting killed unfairly. I use my carbine to shoot the player in the head, but some other enemy comes or that other guy kills me. Let me just admit that I do need to work on my aiming. Secondly, let me just throw a rant just to get this cleared up: Why in the DAMNED MIND is there no way to practice your multiplayer skills on Matchmaking? This is why Call of Duty is getting more reputation than Halo, the developers fail to implement a practice mode. No, campaign is NOT going to help you because that's just playing against other characters. I want a mode where a player can practice against Spartan Bots. I don't get why the halo developers fail to do this. On the top of that, War Games is so difficult due to the fact that you are most likely going to be placed with people better than you. Why is multiplayer so damned difficult?

My Pros: -Awesome graphics -New enemies -Awesome weapons -Cool Missions -No Co-op lag (Finally!) -An improved matchmaking (No quit-ban) My Cons: -Missions are way too long (especially Forerunner, but I guess they have to be long enough for the 8 missions) -No Co-op Matchmaking (I don't see why 343i couldn't improve this feature especially since Bungie is the one who created the ****ty Halo: Reach version) -Game is way too big (I have a 4gb console, I had to spend $11.00 on a 8gb flash drive) What are yours?

I just got Halo 4 from gamefly. Here is two things I find really dumb. 1. No Co-op Matchmaking? So, basically, you're telling me that I have to find 3 other friends to play co-op with? I thought 343i would change this, but apparently, I am wrong. 2. I have to DOWNLOAD War Games to play Multiplayer and Spartan Ops? 343i, what the hell? I have a 4gb console and the only way I can bypass this is if I remove Netflix and some other games I want to play. Why can't War Games and Spartan Ops come WITH the game and not have to be downloaded? So, somebody tell me why this is the case.
