  1. Did you know? The Defender armor is a spiritual successor to the Halo: Reach JFO armor.
  2. After I finish my school work, I will take pictures for the map.
  3. You're right, you need a champion to fight the challenger. Perhaps when we get on a roll, I could get this going with FTG and YouTubers? EDIT: You can't get on a 'role'.
  4. We're gonna need more people. Do you think we should wire the Tuesday Night Tests group?
  5. The map is in a U shape, along with some shortcuts. The updates fix some of the weird angles in the walls. It should be pretty easy for the runner to get away, but it should also be easy for the chasers to hunt down the runner using the shortcuts.
  6. You said you wanted maps right? Because I have just what you need. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/deathrhinoac130/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameMap&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0&details=4092fcf8-a607-4c27-9d9e-1cae3b93bb1d This map was created with Oddball in mind. Due to my lack of self promotion and due to unsuccessful attempts at creating the perfect Oddball gametype, this map was left in the dust like the rest of my maps. You should download some of the things you can find under my gamertag in the New Custom Search. There you will find a variety of maps and gametypes that I wish were less underrated.
  7. Welcome... To die! LOL just kidding, have a laugh.
  8. Hey guys, I'm back from another large break and the forum seems to have very minimal activity, lately. What I am about to present to you may be the most/least sinister/childish minigame you will ever set eyes on. I am of course, talking about Elmo's Got a Gun! Now Playable! In all seriousness, it is modded, but only for gameplay mechanics and aesthetics and is in no way, shape or form an offense, discrimination or embarrassment to any person, company or the original game content and was produced in a systematic and civil manner. Now that we have the clearly large and obvious disclaimer out of the way, let's talk about Elmo. This gametype will work fine on any map, to an extent. Maps that have elements of verticality will prove unfair and mistreating to the Flood, a.k.a. Elmo, as the Spartans, a.k.a. Big Bird(s) have powerful jetpacks. Because of this, I have made a small demo map for future Elmo maps, entitled, "Elmo's World". It is square and very bulky looking, with few attempts at aesthetics. What makes it unlike other maps is that the kill boundaries are brought down to a enforced but flexible level in comparison to the map floor. The rules to the gametype may seem oversaturated to some: One player is the Flood, a.k.a. Elmo, and the rest of the players are the Spartans, a.k.a. Big Bird(s). Elmo, for the majority of the round, is invincible to Big Bird damage, as well as assassinations in general. Thus, Big Bird must hide and seek sanctuary from Elmo. Elmo is equipped with a M45D Tactical Shotgun, but it will take multiple shots to pierce the thick flesh of Big Bird. Once every real Big Bird has been killed, the Last Man Standing, a.k.a. Cookie Monster will take off his Big Bird costume and will fight Elmo on the ground. If the Cookie Monster is victorious, then the round will end with 20 points in his hands, but if he is murdered, then the round will end with only 10 points in his hands. By now, you should have realized that all players start with one life per round. Since my final release, I have been attempting to promote the gametype through gaming communities and custom game lobbies, but so far, I haven't been on any YouTube broadcasts, mostly because I don't have anything to broadcast. I've been trying to overtake the file browser with unauthentic copies and generic spinoffs, but I guess that only happens to Splatter Monkey and Crash Up Derby... According to Halo: Waypoint, the gametype has just over 900 downloads, in reference to BOOGEYMAN's ~25K downloads. Although it is dissapointing, It only means that I'm not advertising it enough, which is exactly why I am here. If you would like to see the gametype in my file share, please feel free to do so, as well as check my other new gametypes, such as Adecry, Social Slayer, and Beast Mode, all of which are new Slayer variants.
  9. These are the top five reasons why I believe that 343 Industries and Certain Affinity should implement texture mapping in Halo 5's forge mode. 5. Because the default textures will become boring to look at after awhile. This is number five because the textures in Halo 5 will look amazing in Halo 5 due to the Xbox One's cloud computing and DirectX Tiled Resources. It is list worthy, though. 4. Because Halo 5 should have more Xbox One utilization. Along with five, allowing players to go onto a cloud library of textures and select some for their map is just mind-blowing. 3. Because Halo 5 should allow players to handle lighting if the current in-game system goes wrong. Agreed. Not saying that Halo 5's lighting system will be faulty, but if it is, the option is always nice to our liking. 2. Because every map needs to feel and look different. This is what people have been asking for, a true simple map editor, and it's about time! 1. Because it will separate the artists from the amateurs. Take that, you cheap-o's!
  10. Just have preset loadouts with no precision weapons or perks.
  11. So basically, they can make a 1080p game with 100% of the GPU on current gen but can't make 1080p with 90% of the GPU on next gen? I smell bull****...
  12. Banned because a ban is a ban is a ban is a ban is a ban is a...
  13. Sprint is not the problem anymore, it's the maps: they are too big.
  14. Slayer will always define Halo in Matchmaking and Custom Games, but over the years, the game developers have increasingly made new gametypes, some of which spark awesome playlists and some that only remain in Custom Games. Here's what I think should be on top of the Halo 4 gametypes to become the Halo 5 gametypes. Crash-Up Derby Sword Tournament Race Two-Way Infection with Humans Jump Rope Speed Halo Headhunter Stockpile Invasion Ro Sham Bo Husky Rumble X Wars Castle Wars Slenderman Hunger Games Minotaur Get Out of My House Keep in mind that I'm not thinking that all of these should have individual gametypes, some of them could definitely be categorized in ways that would please people. In my eyes, Halo 5 will cross the bridge of Matchmaking and Custom Games. It will surely be awesome and fun.
  15. Sometimes, backtracking is okay, and because this only ONE playlist, I'm not saying that other playlists can't enhance the experience, I'm just saying that because Halo 4 offered the new experience without the old one, It couldn't satisfy everyone, and thus, the new experience sort of 'replaced' the old one. Also, when I talk about AR bloom, I'm talking about the reticle.
  16. Slayer BR's should return as an official playlist, with the following RESTRICTIVE rules... No DLC Required No Custom Class's 5 on 5 Primary BR, Secondary AR 2 Frags No Sprint No AA Weapons Physically Placed on Map Without Ordnance Markers Dual-Wielding Excessive Grenades Score to 50 Suicide and Betrayal Penalty No In-Game Joining Penalize Quitters Classic Maps Publicly-Viewable CSR Skill-Based Matchmaking 4-FN-SHOT-KILL No Assault Rifle Bloom NO KILLCAMS 5 Second Respawn NO OP WEAPONS
  17. Banned for insulting the almighty living franken-turducken.
