  1. In this forum game , the goal is to create a unique top ten list that helps us recognize your interests. However, because this is a game, it must have rules: 1. The list cannot consist of reasons. ex., Top Ten Reasons Why Sony is Better Than Microsoft 2. The list cannot be about anything that breaks the forum rules. ex., Top Ten ****stars 3. The list cannot exceed or underfund Ten Items. ex., Top Eleven Favorite Games I will start with Top Ten Consoles: 1. Xbox One 2. Fairchild Channel F 3. Xbox 360 4. PC 5. Xbox 6. SEGA Saturn 7. 2. Banned because it is 1:08 AM in USA and 3:08 PM in Japan.
  3. Banned because that guy is creep. http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Do_You_Know_the_Muffin_Man%3F
  4. As redundant as this repost is... The other maps came and went. You 'll have to download them via custom search gamertag. You'll also find the stuff I DIDN'T publish.

  8. I was exaggerating, I'm a comical person, and I wrote that old article for the sole purpose of getting my Shoutbox rights back, another thing that is unfortunately gonna take some time to get fixed. What I meant to say is that you said it in away that triggered my brain to a purposed existence of interest that is beyond any narcotic known to science. Or I could just say it suckered me in to thinking that is was a solution to something. Also, when did this idea of me being hostile to 343i.org and 343I and THFE's dedication become existent? When I started this topic? I though I already clarified my apologies, but I guess not. Oh Well, this topic is destined to change subject. And so it is official, I, Mecha Death Rhino, apologize for any individual or group that was offended by this topic. I will continue to feed this topic, but I am going to (or someone with the power to) rename it "I'm Sorry *facepalm*".
  9. This means that I can save all of my games to the Cloud.
  10. I want an image reminiscence of my "current" signature, that will fill the entire About Me page. I want it to say "MECHA DEATH RHINO, Ready to Deploy!"
  11. To be honest, I just solely tested Conversion, and for what it is, it's not bad. It's not something to put in an MLG Tourney either, but meh. My one problem with this gametype is how The News group and Absolute Dog presented it, as if it was the answer to every problem in gaming, I mean, before you guys have put your stuff in the news group, but not with Three trailers! It was disappointing to what I found in the latest one, and that led to the creation of this post.
  12. I know, but it's so hard to get around places when you leave those extra bit people out. Ever since I joined 343i.org, I've been seasonally posting maps. None ever received download count, comment, like, or video overview. See that's just the way this works. Oh well, I'll just be in the Marathon Universe making map files that get about 68 downloads once their obsolete. That's what this website needs, a Download meter.
  13. You touched every subject...Except where i said "Because it isn't modded, I can spend an entire day replicating it and it would still be as good". Apologies on the "343" thing.
  14. When I first watched the first trailer for Conversion, I was like "A new gametype, for the community, by the community with new rules and laws? No way!" And I when I said "No way" I would never know that I was right: Conversion is a recycle. Why make a big deal out of a gametype that technically isn't a gametype (a gametype works on standard or ALL maps) that isn't modded (meaning I could make the entire thing myself in one day and it would be less or equal to this quality) and basically has you following verbal honor codes, something that little kids do in custom games called role-playing, and I play Halo to kill stuff, not to role-play. In fact, I don't consider Conversion a gametype, I consider it a competitive teamwork minigame. It excludes the general forger and is just a way to make other forgers jealous and feel pity, but all it really does is promote the maps of the THFE exclusives that just put too much dedication in their hands. Look, I'm not trying to offend anybody, okay? I'm just putting this entire thing in retrospect. I was disappointed, that's all I meant to say, really. It's just that THFE is kind of like 343 I when it comes to things like this.
  15. If it isn't modded, and won't work on any map, then IT TECHNICALLY ISN"T A GAMETYPE IT"S A COMPETITIVE MINIGAME.
  16. Both Aleph One AND Mariusnet are free.
  17. Do you have a Mariusnet account? I thought we could play coop sometime.
  18. It was inevitable that someone would eventually make a topic about the Leading shooter that inspired most elements of Halo. I myself wasn't born with it, I found it when I was scanning through BUNGiE games on XBLA and found the Hi-Def 60.00 fps port of Marathon 2: Durandal. And yes, I know Marathon has it's own community, but they treat me like a bag of trash. After I found the XBLA port, I was fond to head to Wikipedia and learn more. I soon learned that the game on Mac is free. But I don't have a Mac, and I certainly don't have Mac OS 7. I then learned that there was a 100% licensed officially and accurate emulator for the game files themselves, not just the game. And from there on, I was hooked with this new game called "Aleph One". I first was dumber than a rock about zip files and thought that they were harmful, but after learning about a free version of WinRAR that makes the trial fail-safe bypass-able, I opened up Marathon 2 and took off. For one thing, this game has a keypad request, in that the default control scheme requires you to move via keypad, which most keyboard's these days don't have. That is until you turn on the mouse and press default in the buttons. Then it turns into your typical WASD control scheme. Anyone will know that you're talking about Marathon whenever you type "Pfh" instead of "F". Why? Take a wild guess. Assume that the main opposing enemy in the game is a alien race called "Pfhor" Since Christmas 1994 All the way up to today, It still is being used. To anyone who thinks this game is a doom-clone, let me spell it out for you in font size 14. You're Wrong. Well, for one thing, Marathon allows you to look not only horizontally, but vertically. Marathon runs on PiD engine, Doom runs on Wolfenstein engine. Marathon is known as the highlight of 16 bit sound. It has cool upbeat and spooky music, Sound effects that made their ways into a bunch of 90's and 2000's movies, and Doug Zartman is just a cool guy. Unlike Doom, where weapons have 1 frame for idle and 1 frame for shooting, Marathon has 1 frame for idle, an animated sequence of frames for firing, and an animated sequence of frames for reloading. While Doom has an animated sequence of a sprite for every 90 degrees of view, Marathon has one for every 45 degrees. Maybe because sprites can move diagonally in Marathon. Plot. This game is the meaning of plot. This is a screenshot of Marathon 2.
