Jacob went to the door to check for covenant. "Looks clear for now, we'd better rest. The assault doesn't seem like it's coming today, avictus." "I'll take first watch, you should get some sleep." Jacob told avictus.

"Ok, let's see... Admiral, when's the assault force getting here?" Jacob asked. While waiting Jacob loaded his battle rifle.

"Good you're awake, were staying to fight. An assault force should arrive soon, you ready?" Jacob asked avictus

"Admiral Delreuse, make sure the assault force is large. The base has no Anti Air, so bring air support aswell" Jacob explained

Jacob un cloaks. "Anton, how big is the rescue?"

"Ok, I'm ready. Close it up."

"We need to go, now!" Jacob yelled. The brute followed, but Jacob stuck it with a few plasma grenades he found. While the brute was weak, he shot it in the head. He then took the hammer from the body, using it to make sure the brute was dead. "They know we're here now, Anton is there a place we can go for now?"

Jacob thought quickly and used a frag to push two back, and jumped out of the way of the other. He shot the brute he dodged in the head, nocking off the helmet. He then hit the brute with the but of his battle rifle, needing to reload. The fight lasted a few minutes, and Jacob took a hit or two. The hits were non critical

"Ok, then where are we going next?" Jacob asked Anton? ((Btw just adding to conversation, the spartan II wouldn't know where everything is yet))

"Ok, it's done. We need to get out of here, avictus can you use covenant weapons?" Jacob said as he handed avictus a plasma rifle.

Jacob Smith (Sierra 278): covenant base: 04:00 (military time) The spartan II began to search the base for avictus. An elite was around the next corner, Jacob got his knife and went for the silent kill. The elite stood no chance, he didn't even see Jacob coming. Jacob noticed that the base was strangely inactive, maybe most were sleeping. As he rounded the next few corners, fighting a few grunts quietly, he saw the place they would most likely keep a POW (prisoner of war). It is one of the few places with activity this early in the morning. As he went to kill the first guard he noticed something, the security was kinda loose. He got in to the holding cell. "Anton, I need you to deactivate the shields holding avictus. I'll have to put you in the covenant system, try not to get taken." Jacob said. ((Thanks for doing the intro halo geek, was kinda busy))

I try to be nice, I like the older community aspect. Wasn't here for long enough to have it last long for me though. It'd be nice to get back to, definitely better than how it is now.

Here's a good character idea Name: Mike Jones Age: 26 Appearance: Has short, black hair, and is shorter than most. More on the chubby side. Personality: He is strong, and good at work. He has some combat skills, but mostly hates working. He isn't the smartest, but he's also not too stupid to come up with a plan. He's a good shot, but again hates the work. He was forced to go, he didn't go bye choice. He's also not the nicest guy, but he can be kind when needed. He was never that good with technology, and often confused many technological devices. Back story: Mike was always a strong kid, and always lazy. He was born to a family with two sisters and an older brother. He was taught from a young age that its important to be strong, and that's what he focused on. He also was the disappointing child because of his laziness. He also, miraculously graduated high school. Shortly after the war he was drafted, he would not have joined up otherwise. Weapons of choice: A standard issue Designated Marksmen Rifle, and Shotgun. Sometimes he uses a combat knife.
