Mr Director, IF other life forms, intelligent life forms specifically, were to exist be it in our Universe or the next. What do you reckon they'd look like? Would they be bipedal? Perhaps more advanced than us, Humans? Also, if I wish to self educate myself. Where's the best place to buy books for study, and how would I go about such a task? I wish to chase a career down as a Military Scientist but academically i'm not quite there .

I'll put in what I know/speculate but i'm no Halo canon/universe expert, anyway... Forward unto Dawn is set before the Halo Trilogy and even Reach for that matter ( I believe it's 25-30 years before the games or so? ). The Spartan's and even the covenant were being held secret at this point by ONI? and this is also one of the very first ( not THE first, but one of ) the first encounters Humans have with the covenant. Also, to clear the confusion, when we see the parts with Cortana talking/arguing/debating with herself in the beginning of these videos, only that is associated with Halo 4. There's another Character but perhaps that may be spoiler-ish. Master Chief is like 14 or 15 years old in this FUD series ( funny, right? ) and we also may get to see his original team and his close friend, the other Spartan II's, Linda, Kelly? and Fred. Maybe. So yeah, Forward Unto Dawn is before any Halo events that occur in the games we play. I think the timelime is something liiiike, Forward Unto Dawn, Halo Wars? I'm not sure about this game, sorry Halo Reach, Halo Combat evolved/anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 3 Halo 4? Edit ;- Tallgeese ninja'd me D: and I'm sure someone else can clear this up for you, and even me if I'm drastically wrong on my post.

Oh Lord, the IQ shown in this thread has made my brain cells crawl up and die. Anyone watch Vsauce? There was something about the Universe being as large as googol or the number - whatever it is? and I think it was mentioned that out there could be another one of you. I don't know, I'm not very smart with this stuff, nonetheless it's great to think about. Think we'll find some Forerunners ( Or an equivalent ) out there? Perhaps some Precursors?

Here in the UK, Amazon, Game and Play.co.uk no longer have it in stock and I just got the money to pre-order it. *sadface* I got the Xbox pre-ordered though.

Well I'd only take that comment as just hear-say, I did pull it from a top comment on Youtube and still trying to locate a source of if MS actually said that but hey... who knows? And I do hope it happens

Oh I see, yes it works alright for BF3 and even other Gears games, so I presume it's the game freezing?

Apparently... *Sighs* If you look it up, Microsoft said that if this series got enough of a following, they'd be willing to invest in a feature-length movie.

Hmm, It could possibly be the game freezing but since it works loading through the cloud storage I always thought it were the hard-drive?

Hmm, interesting. Next time I go on it and it decides to play up, I'll un-plug my controller charge kit and see what happens. Also though, the Hard-drive freezes when I try and load my Gears 3, so I have to use the cloud storage... Halo 4 Xbox will be here soon anyway

The only issue I ever had with a special edition console was the Gears of War one that released with Gears 3. My one doesn't turn off properly. I turn it on ( use it, finish with it ), turn it off ( fans still go for like 5 minutes, the green light stays on ), So I turn it back 'on' even though it's on already and then turn it off again. It isn't a constant issue but it does occur a few times a week. My Halo Reach was fine and my Resident Evil 5 was fine, i'll be getting the Halo 4 having sold those two consoles, I'll keep my Gears 3 one and I have great certainty that'll be fine.

At the start, was Cortana arguing with the 'Halsey' side of her? Sure seemed like it. A great episode nonetheless and I can not wait for next week's.

I've seen all of the leaks, I think. At least the Legendary ending, the opening and ending cut scene(s), a few missions of the campaign, the antagonist etc... Has me wondering, where the hell is Halo 5 going to go? I can't wait and I'm still excited for Halo 4. I don't think I gave away any spoilers in there, at least I hope not.

I have a few questions about the episode. The introduction with Cortana was immense! Is she voiced by her original voice actor Jen Taylor for this series/episode? Sure sounds like it. Was the whole ship freezing up due to the Cryo-Chamber or having the entire back end of the ship blown apart? Anyway, a great episode nonetheless and I'm excited for the next. Maybe we'll get to see some covenant?

I'm interested to see the reactions of everyone when they see MC alive. At the end of Halo 3 there was a memorial cut scene for him ( IIRC ). Imagine if we do get to see Halsey and other familiar faces. I wish to see their rejoice and reactions in general. Also, I wish to see Arbiter again in Halo 5 or 6 and I'd like this dialogue to follow, Arbiter ;- "I thought you had perished." Master chief ;- "Were it so easy..." I look forward to the campaign most but I'm also interested to see what Spartan Ops has to offer.
