  1. I like the forge maps and the variety the different terrain gives. People have been saying that these maps are too small and the only map I feel like can agree with that on is The Ravine. However, that map in particular gives more of an open-world feel. I feel that the reason for there being three distinct forge worlds is not just scenery differences but the kinds of maps you would be building with the basic things these forge worlds give. The Ravine would play as more of an open-world Big Team Battle map, keep in mind you can build on, off and around the cliffs and even down into The Ravine itself so it really gives you that kind of base-to-base combat feel just from looking at it and thinking about what types of maps you'd most likely create on it. Impact gives me more of an open-ended feeling, mostly because of the large open space in the middle of the asteroids that you can build in. You can build a central structure there, have it reach vertically and have several floors so to speak, or you can have that structure branch out to each asteroid and build even more there, so once again we have that kind of building material. Also, akin to The Ravine you can assume that building off of the sides of the asteroid is possible, which also gives for some more unique building. However you can pretty much do anything in general in that open space in the middle, and that makes this forge world by far the most giving in terms of forging and what kinds of maps you can build. Erosion looks nice, it's the darker kind of feeling of the map that captures me the most. Of course you can play grifball in the court and build small 4v4 maps there, but those hills don't really seem like the best building structures. However once again we can build off of the edge and the side with our forge pieces, and that area is by far the largest and most open area in the map. Also, if there are no lighting effects in the forging inventory, that lower kind of cove structure down by the water really provides a darker shade for creepy infection maps and things like that. It does seem to be lighter near the cave walls but still this and the open space in Impact would give the some of the darkest areas to build in. I don't know if that's quite true for Impact though, seeing as some of the structures have interior lighting. Hopefully that's adjustable. Anyhow, I feel like these maps won't be bad to forge on, we just have to get used to building on them before speculating in my opinion.
  2. Do you think that this could be subject to change depending on what part of the universe the galaxy in question is in? Not completely different laws of physics, but some minor to major things? I suppose we cannot know this for sure unless we explore the entire universe, which is as far as we know or it can be inferred, impossible.
  3. I suppose there is no real way to know this, but do you think it's probable that the laws of physics and time themselves could be different in another galaxy? I always thought so, but if you believe the same could you provide an in-depth description of why?
  4. Lol I have no idea if I'll ever be up on here with those legends. Also, really enjoyed your interview Doc!

  10. Hey everyone! Wow, so I finally hit 500 posts! It took me about 15 days, but it seems to have gone by so fast. (Oh wait, it did xD) I'm so glad to have joined the community, and I know I'll be here for much longer c: I want to thank some people Azaxx - Azy, you were the first person to greet me when I joined. Since then I have come to learn how funny and charming of a person you are. Like I said earlier today, I already consider you a good friend. I hope we can become even better friends over time Oh, and happy birthday Archangel Tyrael - Of course, I can't mention azy without mentioning someone else I'm already good friends with. Tyrael, you are an awesome guy and I've had great conversations with you. You've also helped me with personal problems, and for that I am very grateful to you. I hope to play Halo 4 with you soon! Minuette - I haven't known you as long as some of the others I mentioned, but I've grown to like you very quickly and I enjoy working with you on our current project. I'll be finished with my lines soon Ryu Hayabusa - My ninja buddy I'm catching up to you quickly, you know I wanted to say thanks for the conversations and insight. We're good friends already, and I hope to play Halo 4 alongside you soon c: Tallgeese - I haven't talked with you too often, but when we have it has always been interesting and enjoyable to me. You've also informed me of plenty of things I don't think I would have known about otherwise, so thank you for that Twam - It's pretty obvious, even though I haven't talked to you yet I have to say thank you so much for making and maintaining this wonderful site. You really have brought together an absolutely wonderful community of people that are a joy to be around into one place, and for that I will always thank you. Lastly I would like to thank all of the staff, former staff and moderators. You have all worked so hard to keep these forums clean and enjoyable and I thank and admire you myself. I have been a moderator, and I know that it is not easy work. No one should forget the time and effort you've put in to this site, nor should they disrespect you. I would also like to thank every member of this community, even if I haven't met you yet. This site needs you, and thank you for helping this fantastic community forum site strive. I know my list is kind of short, but forgive me for not being here long enough to know very many people well. However even I can tell that there are wonderful people here and that they're the kind I love to be friends with. Once again I'd like to thank everyone here, thank you very much for reading my post as well xD
  11. Hopefully it is. I just like it better overall. I wouldn't mind having both in-game though.
  12. Well of course it's possible to bring it back. But Halo 3 had the Hornet, so unless the Falcon is newly optimized in some way I don't understand why they'd replace them. I don't see what different roles they would carry, and the main difference is that the Falcon has blades while the Hornet has thrusters. It just seems to me like going back to that mechanic wouldn't make much sense.
  13. Well now that we know Impact exists.. I will probably attempt a Boarding Action remake
  14. Lol seeing the awesome custom consoles sometimes makes me wish I was in the position of needing a new one. xD
  15. I just miss driving a behemoth like that around with a team, setting out on a conquest to overtake the whole map. Glorious. *overdramatic*
  16. I sure hope so. But for some reason I feel like it's unlikely.
  17. The Falcon is confirmed in-game. Like Ryu said that is not concept art.
  18. Oh yeah, still gotta add that in.
  19. This was awesome! Very interesting too. Can't wait to see more of Jul 'Mdama
  20. Welcome to the forums! I hope you enjoy it here and if you need any help don't be afraid to ask c:
