I've never played with Astros - but unless the performance, comfortability, convenience, AND features are 5x as nice as the X11s (which would be indicated by the price tag, literally 5 times as much), I think I'll stick with Turtle Beaches. After all, I'd much rather pay $60 for a pretty nice headset than $300 for a superb set. I totally agree! I got rid of my X11s when I got rid of my last console, and I dread having to put on that standard mic every time I start up my new console. I'm going to get a new set one of these days. A friend of mine refuses to buy any more Beaches, he's snapped the plastic on 2 different sets within a month of each other. I've never had a set break on me, I don't see why people have to be so rough with their equipment.

who's getting the halo 4 tritton headsets?
Shokyr replied to buffy the spartan buffalo's topic in Halo 4
Let's see pictures and a price tag first. I regret getting rid of my Turtle Beaches, but I'd like to try different brands - I've heard nothing but good reviews of Triton. -
I'm sorry, but what's the point of buying a Turtle Beach if you're going to be playing with your sound coming through your TV? I played competitive Call of Duty for a few years, which was when I bought my Turtle Beach X11 headset. I had it for (I want to say 2-3 years?) and I don't remember a single problem I had with them. I wanted one with cords - I despise batteries. It picked up my voice well and I was able to play without disturbing others in the house, as I was the only one who could hear the gameplay. They're great headsets, in my opinion, and cannot be beat for the money. I could hear everything clearly, and knew exactly where any footsteps were coming from. Like I said - I had no complaints with them, I loved them. However, if you're just using headphones for speech, I definitely wouldn't recommend a $60+ headset. Use the one that comes with the console, it works fine.

Hmm..Amazon seems to be shy around here. I got a $20 promotion, so I got it shipped to my doorstep for $45.

Uh..maybe a week ago? It's the sole reason I got another Xbox.

343i is never going to be able to please everybody..while I think the 'Flagnum' idea is great, some are going to have problems with it. So maybe they'd put a pistol on your hip to only use in CTF, but them somebody else would start complaining about how it's there and you can't use it. It's truly a vicious cycle that isn't going to end, so I just figure it's easiest to accept what they've got and move on.

I realize you hear this all the time, but you did an amazing job. I gave you a vague idea and you brought it to life - thank you so much! It looks awesome man, keep doing what you're doing. Many thanks.

Any others care to share their input?

I think you guys need to take a step back and gain a new perspective. Look at that skull - some would say it resembles a humans'. However, I think our skull resembles the Prometheans. Look, these AI were developed a really long time ago - and if you look closely, there are some great differences between a human skull and the Prometheans' 'skull'. Jaw and nose structures are almost completely different. So sure, there may be some similarities, but that's all they may be - similarities.

Story kicker - one of those little crawlies were actually attached to the back of Chief's leg the entire time, and once he lands on the new Forerunner planet, it infects a host, which releases more crawlies..and soon..soon..

Absolutely not. I thought they were a nuisance, and with almost every Elite came a 13 year old screaming at me. However, I think it'll screw with the game as far as filming & movie productions go. I do wish they were still playable in Custom Games.

I would e-mail the school from my mom's account and say that 'Tristan is too sick to come to school', but it probably won't be delivered until about 3:00. So, I might as well go. I'll be itching to play it all day, though.

Some footage of online gameplay are on some small-scale maps, which would make sense as to why the Mantis wouldn't be on them. But if there IS a clip of it on Valhalla, well, I can't wait to use it.

I've noticed just about every ship is, especially the Cruisers. Wow, that's almost a total-redesign. Looks like Echo's put on a few pounds.

Nice attention to detail - where'd you find the game's script?

Am I the only one that's not a fan of their disproportionately large feet, as well as that weird diseased-looking color crawling up their arms?

Sorry, I've never played Battlefield all too much. I'll look into and let you know if it's similar. (And if it is, we might need to come up with a different name. ) EDIT: Hmm..in a way I feel like it would be somehwat similar. But, of course, there would be some big differences in between them.

Thanks a lot, Cooliest. Or Rap. Or whatever it is that you prefer to be called.
