    I hate to be the one to break it to you but that's a reason why such a massive bug that has effected so many people has yet to be fixed. Its because Halo 5 is more important. Mcc suffered from poor sales because of its broken state and so hardly made that much money, and the same will happen with Halo 5 if it launches broken. So all of 343's attention has been focused on making sure Halo 5 is as least buggy as possible and not a repeat of Mcc. Mcc is not going to make Microsoft anymore money so in their eyes its pointless fixing it, so that's why Mcc is pretty much never going to be fixed. Because it makes business sense to make sure Halo 5 launches fine. Sadly that's how the gaming industry works.

    Splitscreen is not going to be in Halo 5 the game has already gone gold, its not happening. The real question is why. Why? Because 343/Ms want Halo 5 to be a 60fps all the time and so adding splitscreen just is not possible because the Xbox one is severely underpowered. So that's why it cannot happen because it would compromise the 60fps and 343/Ms want that 60fps in there. I've done a lot research into this and from what I got out of the majority of Halo players with their consoles connected online play Co-Op though Xbox Live. As for the others who do not have it connected, well I don't know why you would spend 60$ on a game that lasts about 12 hours when you could get much longer ones and wait later until the price drops, but to each his own I guess. Metal Gear Solid 3 despite taking me only 16 hours stands as one of personal best games of all time. Despite only being 16 hours. Skyrim took me a few hundred hours, did I enjoy it? Of course, was it in my top ten list? No. Now I don't know where I was going with bringing Mgs 3 is but it proves that if the game is quality it is worth it. Another example would be Mgs v Ground Zeros, I got 40 hours out of that game..... "Right now there is a racist daddies boy multi-bankrupted billionaire claiming to be paying for his own campaign while taking twice the donation amounts he paid from corrupt donors like every other politician. The polar ice evaporating into the atmosphere is causing catastrophic weather phenomenon unheard to human civilization since the last ice age which flooded my entire town 3 times in the middle of summer. We're also already considering going back to war with the same people we were fighting for 13 years for zero reason at all. We get it, life sucks, but entertainment is supposed to be an enjoyable escape from that fact, would it hurt to have someone crack a joke or a smile in a GAME once in a while?" The world really is one screwed up place............

    I really don't think EA would be that stupid..... again. I really don't know how to respond to such a dark future such as that but lets hope it never gets that bad.

    It is like the Halo 3/2 system but there is different tiers that replace numbers. Its not that different and is oh so much better as Azaxx explained in that topic I linked you too.

    Untrue, the Halo 2 and 3 ranking systems had lots of problems. As did the game's themselves too not just the ranking system. I suggest you look at this thread and read the post posted by Azaxx. It includes all my points and just explains them better far better than I ever could.     They don't fix it because Mcc is no longer profitable, Halo 5 is. It sucks I know but that's how business works sadly. As there is a reason Mcc had such bad sales and it was because it was broken at launch so Halo 5 needs to be almost perfect to get good sales. So it makes business sense to focus on that to make Halo 5 perfect rather than try and fix a broken game that is not going to make Ms anymore money. As for the ranking system you are completely wrong, the Halo 5 ranking system is more like Halo 3 than Halo Reach.     Welcome one and all to the latest news smashup. Sadly I could only find two decent bits of news to write about but its better than nothing so, lets begin! Article one: No private matches at launch for Star Wars Battlefront Now this one's a real bummer.... Recently while answering a question from a fan on Twitter, the official Star wars EA account revealed that there will be no private matches in Star wars Battlefront at launch. Not only that but a few weeks back it was also confirmed that Battlefront will not feature a dedicated chat system or server browser on console. On the optimistic side of things Dice or EA has not ruled out private matches coming via a patch at some point and another EA game, Titanfall did not support private matches at launch. Yet the feature was eventually added. So private matches may be added in the future. Article two: Hard mode coming to the Kings Fall Raid in Destiny < Who's a good boy? Or giant monster or whatever... With the launch of Destiny's latest expansion, the Taken King. Bungie has announced that the Taken King's raid, Kings Fall is now being updated to include a hard mode. This new update that will be launching on October 23rd at 10Am Pacific time. Bungie has recommended that the raid be tackled by players with 300-320 Light, and of course the loot rewards in it will be between 310-320. But naturally hard mode will be a lot harder than the usual raid. So get ready Guardians because if you attempt to do this raid, you'll be in for a real fight!     1 Would I like to see him be more of an actual character? Yes I would but judging from the first few missions I've seen of Halo 5 and counting the stuff in Halo 4 we will definitely be seeing a different side to Chief in Halo 5 and future Halo games (Presuming he survives) 2 What do I think of other playable characters? Cool I guess. Its just adds multiple perspectives to a story and so I'm totally fine with it because it gives a broader outlook. So I'm all for it. 3 Book stuff. There is a reason a lot of lore did not make it in to the earlier ones, because the lore was not around then. Its almost become a Star wars like problem when a lot of stuff that is said in the earlier games make no sense now in the context of the newer games. "Would you be interested in a prologue kinda game, where it is all about the history? (just thinking about the setting in general)" I don't think that would work. If you want to know about that stuff just go read the books or some such. That's what they are for after all.

    343 I love you sometimes, but now I hate you. For months fans have been calling out for fixes and you deliver this? A crap betrayal system that messes up more than half the time and gets the wrong people. I mean, can you help it if your power goes out? No you cant!. That really fills me with confidence for Halo 5.....

    I'm actually completely fine with it. Not everyone in a usually honourable species is entirely honourable. After the fall of the Covenant a lot of Kig Yar when their own separate ways so its obvious the occasional bad sect who goes against everything they stand for (such at this group) makes sense. You cannot expect everyone to follow rules all the time that's not how Humans, or aliens in this case function.

    Not really, I don't think Yoshi and the others mind me saying this but it was decided they were going to vote me out and with everyone else in Pro town gunning for me despite no evidence.... I was going to die anyway so I may as well slap the voting process in the face and die in style.

    How is it poor sportsman ship? Poor sportsmanship would be pulling a Mereel, and if you know the circumstances of when he did that you will know that was poor sportsmanship. But committing suicide when everyone from both Pro town and mafia is voting against you is more or less going out with style than anything else. Just to clarify I choose to commit suicide after everyone started to vote against me. So I call it "Going out with style"
