Well Frog that is what people like.... People will pay 15 dollars on top of a 60 dollar game just to get a few new outfits and a cheap 5 min mission. The games industry really sucks they charge us for everything.... Anyway back to the point people like cosmetic items and there was very few in Halo 3 and Recon was oh so rare and most people wanted it.

VF because when Halo 3 was in its prime, Recon was a Bungie employee only item along with flaming helmets. Everyone wanted both of them so Bungie gave Recon out to anyone who did something Amazing or funny. Like mind blowing forge art, or getting killed by a cone in matchmaking etc When Halo 3 ODST came out all players now could get it if they worked hard. And now 343 had ruined It , and the katana by giving it out.

No, Just no.... Handing out Recon to everyone increases its use. But not handing it out does not. I don't think 343I should have handed Recon out as many players were still playing Halo 3 and were trying to get it.

Though nothing like this is going to happen in Halo Reach or possibly Halo 4 I would very much like to see this in Halo 5 is gives lots of longevity to the game as a whole, something Halo 4 lacked.
