  1. If so then that all but confirms 343 messed up that date in the trailer on purpose.
  2. I don't know if it was confirmed or not already but it can be assumed that Halo 5 starts before Season 2 of Hunt the Truth does. Because I'm presuming Chief "dies" in the game. I mean, maybe he fakes his death or something?
  3. Of course they didn't screw up a date for a key event in cannon. Its all part of the plan Drizzy. *Wink*
  4. I was actually thinking that this thing could be a Metal Gear Solid 2 like twist. At the start of Halo 6 Chief is dispatched on a mission that goes horribly wrong and he is presumed dead. The game then has a significant time skip with the game picking back up with a person called "The Master Chief" now this Master Chief looks like Chief and talks like him. Halfway through the first mission the Unsc or Oni or whoever is his contact tell him to use a new name for whatever reason. So lets say the main character starts calling himself, Raiden. Next, his contact tells him to stop using his voice modifier and his armour camo. The armour and his voice then change to their actual sound and colour. Its then revealed that this guy isn't even the Master Chief at all and is a new character. For all those who have played Metal Gear Solid 2 you know where I'm going with this. Throughout the game the main character Raiden has several encounters with a mysterious figure until near the end he finally is saved by him. This figure reveals he has been using a voice modifier and armour camo the whole time as is actually the real Master Chief who has been sent by whoever to help Raiden. I know the story of Mgs 2 is way too complicated for a Halo game, but it could totally fit and I wouldn't mind seeing it in Halo 6.
  5. I dont sense anything-Qui Gon Jinn.... Yup I know, it really sucks it isn't in Halo 5 You feel it too don't you? The phantom pain?!
  6. :Aceplam: Guys we talked about how voting null is always bad? The only purpose voting null serves is helping the mafians so vote. I vote Arbiter. Mainly because I don't want him to be left out.
  7. It just seems odd as to why the UNSC would come out with that. I mean he's a Galaxy famous hero, all other Spartans are mia but the most legendary Spartan of all gets his death announced on tv.... that does not make any sense. Anyway as for the detail that was noticed, its very interesting.
  8. Guess what time it is? Weekly site poll time, ohhhhh yheah! Master Chief has been the Halo series main protagonist since the very beginning. Now with Halo 5 only a mere 28 days ahead of the posting of this poll, a new trailer for the game has been released. https://youtu.be/SENJV2_XuLM So in a tie in with that trailer I ask you all. Do you think the Master Chief will die in Halo 5 Guardians? And thatttts a wrap for this week folks, until next time! Voting shall end on October 5th. If you have any suggestions or criticism, feel free to pm me.
  9. Do you think 343 is that dumb? Of course not "It's adding more to the story and speculation if anything" Exactly its supposed to leave you on edge on the edge of your seat as you play the game. Is Chief going to die or not? Presumably something happens that makes everyone think he is dead at one point in the game. But also presumably he survives. "It's probably ONI trying to cover stuff up again" Why would ONI want to go public about the death of the Master Chief?
  10. Banned for thinking this is funny, its not. Its actually very funny!
  11. "He seems more human than Chief, could he be a more relatable character for the franchise?" Well being kidnapped at the age of six compared to a guy who had a normal life until he enlisted is bound to be a big difference in who is more human. Anyway now for the results..... *drumroll* Master Chief has won by an absolute landslide. Thanks for the votes everyone!
  12. I think experience is another factor to consider and Blue Team has a lot more where that came from that Osiris. Apart from that analyser thing Osiris has I don't really see any superior tech that Osiris has over Blue Team.
  13. As you said in another thread, it was a chaotic battle already so no wonder they could do that, now if it was just Osiris versus all that with no chaos already, Osiris would have a much harder job. Blue Team were kidnapped and began training at six? So can Osiris boast that, no? Many Spartan IV's are not recruited for their combat skills but for other skills, such in the case of Vale. She has an amazing understand of technology and language. She is also skilled at combat but her understand of technology was the primary reason she was recruited.
  14. I have no doubt Osiris is skilled but it does not quite add up to over 40 years of combat experience Spartan II's have had. Its just not a fair comparison and I get the feeling Osiris mission is to find the Master Chief and Blue Team, and then relay that back to ONI. Not to actually engage them until more UNSC forces arrive to help. Because Osiris does not stand a chance against Blue Team.
