It's funny that you have such strong opinions on the worth of the Limited Edition when you aren't invested in it. Your Philosophical insight into the worth of apples when applied to a video game MAY have been worth something, until you let everyone know that you didn't buy the Limited Edition, thus rendering your argument worthless. If you believe that the LE is of such worth .... Then why don't you have it purchased? I mean, I'm able to listen to everyone's opinion and get an idea on whether or not I should downgrade to Standard edition or keep my Limited, but when the person with the biggest opinion didn't even put out the $100 for the product ....... your opinion is worthless to the matter. Sorry, thanks for all the blue letters, that's all I saw in your posts.

I promise I will be craushed if I downgrade and there ended up being something awesome in the LE.. But at this point and all the S**t talkin people are doing on it, I'm willing to take the chance.

Yeah I read the review, it was for a $260 headset I believe and all Tritton headsets look like wannabe Astros. Tritton is more expensive than Turtle Beach with like products and TB will get you by just fine.

Lol yeah Tritton is made by the knock off company we all grew up hating, Mad Catz. It's crazy how many people buy them not knowing that it is Mad Catz... They see Tritton and hear all the new crop of gamers (the ones who are oblivious to Mad Catz due to age) saying how COOL they are. Makes me sick! I haven't bought Mad Catz since early ps2.

No i definitely understand the value of a limited edition and the fact of the matter is that an $80 assassins creed limited edition with a 3 inch action figure has more going for it than this limited edition Halo 4 has. Halo 3 by editions Halo 3 was released in three separate retail versions, branded as "Standard", "Limited" and "Legendary" editions. The Standard Edition contains the game disc, manual, and a small poster with the game's control-map and artwork. The Limited Edition, contained in a metal case, contains the game disc, manual, poster, Xbox 360 bonus disc with featurettes, and a hardcover-bound "Bestiarum", a collection of information and art covering the species, cultures, and civilizations of Halo 3. The Legendary Edition contains the game disc, manual, poster, interactive bonus disc, the Bestiarum on a DVD, Legendary DVD containing exclusive content, and a scale replica of the Master Chief's helmet as a case for the three discs. The slip-cover packaging unfolds into a large heavy-stock poster of Master Chief. It's not that we don't understand the value of a limited edition, it's just that this is significantly lesser than Bungie has brought us to know and love.. I LOVE what I have seen with the game itself, but 343s first outing with a new installment of Halo is obviously and very noticeably not what we are accustomed to with our $100 Halo Limited Editions.

Dude I have been playing games for over 20 years.. And yeah the case it comes in is about all that Halo 4 has going for it.

I wouldn't mind seeing a team tactical like we had on halo 3 at release. That was pretty fun while it lasted. I got to like 44 in that playlist.

Lol what a useless post. The thing is that we are use to getting exclusives and extras with our Halo games when we buy the limited edition, but with this game there is no reason to buy Limited edition. You can still get the maps and everything down the road when they are released and we can watch FUD on Halo Waypoint w/o having to buy Limited edition, they are giving it to us for free. All I'm saying is that they need to show me that I'm actually getting something with my limited edition or I'll downgrade my regular. I can get all the extras later on. What if (god forsake) the game is a major flop, I'm $100 invested into a game I don't want to play and have NOTHING extra to show for it. I understand you love halo and you are loyal to Halo (so am I) But I'm not just going to throw extra money at them right off the bat for a couple pamphlets and a poster.

What will make it worth buying? I mean I already have it pre ordered and paid off and I'm really considering downgrading to the basic release..

Dude 2 months down the road I'll buy everything that came with the limited edition for $10 off of Craigslist. All it is is paper. That is the only true extra. No sweet kitty helmet or statue... paper.

Don't map packs always come out for $15 a piece?? I'm not really interested in buying FUD when I can watch it for free EVERYWHERE!!! And how long after release would the first map pack even release? I'd rather pay $5 extra over the period of 6 months (waiting for all 3 map packs to release). Nobody cares about little books we can read on the internet for free. That is all the physical content we get supposedly.

It really is some BS that FUD isn't on a disk.... I mean we can watch it on Halo Waypoint for free right now (and the rest as it continues to come out). Where is my statue?? All I'm getting for spending $100 right now is 15% off of future map packs? I don't care about weapon skins or anything, but Forward Unto Dawn is coming out on DVD and we are getting a digital copy.....? Seriously someone message me and let me know, am I spending $100 right now to save 15% on map packs down the road? That's like $2 per map pack. Seriously, someone message me...... I think I'm downgrading to regular Halo 4 version and I'll buy 2 new games this holiday season. But seriously, someone message me and convince me to get LE.

I have never really cared for Firefight, but I am pretty sure that I will play EVERY Spartan Ops mission as soon as they come out. Sounds great. Good idea.

Well considering Darth Maul got cut in half, just the same as Anakin and was relatively less injured than Anakin... Yeah he totally could have came back in episode 2. Vader came back in episodes 4, 5 and 6 after he was cut in half. But because Maul was like 30th most important character in the Star Wars universe, he didn't come back. Johnson was in like top 5 of importance in the Halo universe. Along with Miranda Keyes (also killed off in halo 3), Arbiter (not in Halo 4s campaign) and Cortana, they were Chiefs only "friends" (in the games at least) really..

OP 3rd part is just .. nothing, it's not a good idea.As for the rest, K/D and W/L were already the stats that your skill level was dependent on (in halo 2 & 3), You have a bad K/D in a game, you lose... You lose, it effects your W/L and that would bring down your rank. You just spent a lot of time writing exactly how halo 2 & 3 ranking worked.. But I'll end by saying this is EXACTLY what I want in Halo 4. ("This" being Halo 3s ranking system) lol

So tired of people talking bout different genre games not effecting each other. Half the people in the world will get ONE new game this holiday season, not all of them! However, this "dead island" will have no effect on Halo 4s sales.

Exactly why it it's called a "progression system" and quite frankly, It's not going to cut it in Halo 4. The ranking system worked in Halo 2 everyone loved it, the ranking system worked in Halo 3 everyone loved it. We NEEEEED it! CORRECTION: Halo 4 NEEDS it!
