I just noticed this, but powerup rewards members get three exclusive emblems, Im happy I pre-ordered it already, lol. So as of right now, I get the skins for the armor (which is awesome if you've seen the commercial) the artic skin, and either the yellow avatar armor or background, and some mysterious bonus that hasn't been revealed

I think the BR and other weapons look alright, I think with all of the detail added to the suits they could bother with detailing the weapons as well.

Yeah but your first post sounded like it was referring to Halo 4. You said "I hope this sheds some light on the tragedy this game can bring us..." like it would affect Halo 4 somehow.

Well the problem with this, is it would kill off all of the people who play just to play. Your idea is great, but the all-round basis of the ranking system would make the game so hard for people who play it for fun that they will leave for another game. Plus your system is already somewhat in use in the game anyway. The points you get to rank up are all already linked to these traits, the only thing not implemented is the fact your rank never suffers. Long story short, great idea, but if it was implemented alot of people would leave based on the fact that if you have a bad night your rank goes all the way down.

I am not worried about forge, from what I have seen it is plenty to work with.

You know. This game will not affect Halo 4, since the genre is totally different.

Well surprisingly enough Johnson was seen during an Easter Egg on the end of Halo CE hugging an Elite, and facing death by the halo ring, yet he lived to reappear in the other Halos. Plus he is an Or-- I mean Spartan I subject and his healing abilities are superb. My word on this..... You NEVER know for sure until it's over.

Like I said before, you need to think realistic. If someone falls off duing a skyjack then they need to die, it's called risk vs. reward. If you go for a skyjack there needs to be something that keeps you from doing it constantly otherwise noobs will all be jumping you, with no hesitation which would actually make the game worse. Even with a stun, it isn't a big enough deterrent to keep people from attempting the jump constantly. Imagine people constantly skyjacking you, just because fall damage doesn't exist. I say Fall damage needs to stay where it's at.

Actually it has been pretty much clarified by secondary sources that normal players will ONLY get 2 of the specializations at SR50. It hasn't come from the mouth of 343 yet though. So that's one half of the upset clarified, or supposedly clarified. Now for the whole armor thing, which to me isn't a HUGE deal, still hope something gets clarified and put in stone.

Figured it out its a hidden Forerunner symbol. Open the PNG in a text editor and remove the word garbage. EDIT: its the letter "K"

That may be because he is the only Spartan II in the group, and I agree he is my favorite. Actually the story of Reach is really similar to a story in a book about the fall of Reach that had MC in it.

Well I don't think dumbing it down is necessary, if you think about it falling from 20-30 feet and surviving is a feat, I mean normal humans can't even get close to surviving that kind of fall, so it makes sense.

I found a hidden PNG file linked to the symbol in the bulletin, I can't post it, as it can't be viewed normally for some reason. I opened this up to discuss it though, because I personally have no idea what it means, it's really vague. So post what you think, I am anxious to hear what others think this may be.

I dont know if this has been said bc the thread is so large. Did you know that the beings dubbed "engineers" actually originated as a forerunner creation? They are artificial, and reproduce by gathering in group usually 2-3 and they build a new one. The more in the group the more intelligent the engineer. Their real names are Huragok. Also Did you know Cortana had a predecessor called Kalmiya that was used to develop her utilities? Despite protocol Halsey kept the AI around, it was actually the only other flash-cloned sample of Halsey's brain to survive besides the one used to make Cortana. Kalmiya ultimately met her end when Halsey activated her fail safe destroying the AI.

I agree with you on sales terms, but no need to throw around people over it, if you call her out, you need to call everyone else out over it. Otherwise your just picking on someone. Bad thing about a port now is, that the ports will be years behind, that kinda fractures the community base for it. Otherwise I see no problem.

If you look at vids from demonstrations of forging, they put in a system to nullify falling damage in an area. So in a nutshell there is falling damage. EDIT: I didn't see the earlier post regarding the forge vids, sorry.

I agree, yet disagree. It didn't lessen spamming altogether, but when I play I pace my shots and usually kill the noob spamming me. The only time I ever spam is when I am jumped and I don't have an accurate clue of who what where and why.

You realize that with the new Halo trilogy for them to work on Halo wars is going to be in their back pocket for a while. I don't think 343 is big enough ATM to support two working titles at once, and microsoft is going to keep them on the cash cow rather than working halo wars. So it might be a while.
