In Halo 4 The Librarian explains why humans can use their technology somewhat,but not in great detail.Basically The Librarian implanted a Geas which was a genetic command imposed on an organism or species. Under the influence of a geas, an organism could be given a set of subconscious orders that would either be specific to that organism, or passed on to their children, in some cases lasting several generations. Only highly skilled Forerunner Lifeworkers, such as the Librarian, were capable of creating a geas. Forerunner students of the Mantle also hypothesized that the Precursors may have imposed a geas on the Forerunners themselves.The Librarian also imposed a broader geas on the entire human race, which has affected them a great deal throughout their history following the activation of the Halo Array. The geas includes, among other things, a familiarity with Forerunner technology and control interfaces as well as subconscious instructions on how to gradually achieve more sophisticated technology, including smart AIs and MJOLNIR armor. In addition, as a result of the Librarian's influence on humans, the basic image of what humans view as an ideal female is based upon the Librarian. Some of the features of the geas are carefully hidden and will only be activated by the right triggers, such as a latent immunity to the effects of the Composer. On Requiem, a personality imprint of the Librarian activated John-117's Composer immunity in order to allow him to defeat the Didact, who planned to use the Composer to imprison all of humanity into digital form. It was indicated she did more than this, saying she was going to advance his evolution by activating his geas, telling him she'd left humanity many gifts, of which the Composer immunity was only one.That's why humans can use Forerunner technology.

I think Palmer looks great,she looks like a soldier and her looks reflect her attitude well,but she is still pretty and fem in the face.Seriously why would you want over the top media fed "assests" over more realism? I made an alternative soundtrack for Halo 4.i put songs from the Terminator:Salvation OST for the all the action scenes and scenes were there was alot of mystery and for epic or tragic scenes i put songs from Halo 3 OST onto a cd that i made while playing the campaign and ordered them to fit with each scene.it was perfect,by combining those two i made a better Halo 4 OST XD

There isn't much differance between the consoles now hardware wise,they are both powerful systems.The differences are online,games and the fact PS3 you can upgrade the HDD similiar to a PC and it can support 1080p which xbox can only do 720p.I think the PS3 is a better system,but Xbox has Halo =P.If Halo did not exist i would be a PS3 follower.

Yes rank depends on difficulty.I went on easy to see if i could get elite zealot commendation XD and there was none where they usually were.

I think the projected image of what it may look like is really cool.Consoles i think are going to look more and more like PC towers...which they pretty much are anyway.

The Spartan IV seem to have this gun ** stereotypical militant attitude unlike the Spartan 2 or 3's.Makes sense because they come from other branches like Marines,ODST etc.They are not augmented children super soldiers anymore.

i cant beat the level.everyone left the game and the last enemy glitches outside of the map where i cant shoot him or see him at all.Jet pack tact isnt working...how do i beat this?

Yes..i dont remember a time when i was as disappionted as i was when i found out anniversary didnt have its own multiplayer..Halo:Combat Evolved is and always will be my favorite.Its like seeing an old lover go through differant boyfriends while i have to watch and try to accept the change,but in the end i never will unless she comes back to me XD

I WANT HALO CE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE NOT REACH B.S.!!!!!!!! ok now thats out of the way.People complain about balance,but really if the pistol was made to be a 4 or 5 shot headshot then people would shut up,They just should have made it like the BR or something come on now,but if you did that guess what...most people would use it just as much.You still use the shotgun,sniper and rocket launcher.I think the only weapon in the game that doesnt get as much love is the AR,but it still works close range like it should.If only Microsoft made at least one more update to Halo Pc to fix some things i will be satisfied...or if they would have made anniversay xbox live of original Halo i would pleasure myself furiosly...i miss old Halo so much..

My Dream Maps Halo 1-Sidewinder,Prisoner,Damnation,Rat Race,Chill out,Chiron TL-34,Blood Gulch Halo PC-Death Island,Timberland. Halo 2-Lockout,Zanzibar,Ivory Tower,Acension,Burial Mounds. Halo 3-Sandtrap,Epitaph,Construct,The Pit. This should the Ultimate Throwback Map Back afterwards.They need to pull a capcom XD

Agree.People aren't willing to be patient...the game is still young.Changes and updates will be made.Take it as it is right now even though we are not all happy with everything,but as a community we need to think positive and do something about it instead of argue.I think the more we discuss and bring up the good and bad in a mature way it will bring upon some kind of change.You will always have inmature people on a forum it's inevitable.As long as the true blue mature fans stick together it will be ok.Patches and playlist are coming we just need to tell oursevles "Things are getting better...things are getting better everyday."

Yes it is included in the evolution of mankind in which i ws speaking...thats what i meant.I didnt use the term gaeas because it wasnt used in the game and did not want to confuse anyone who does not read the novels or wiki.

Great review! my only thing is the campaign was more of a 3/5 for me.It lacked alot and seemed messy.Like those movies that have terrible transition between scenes and story.Mission 6 and 7 were boring as welll.It just needed more.I'm a huge fan of the story and read all the novels.The terminals made it better,but it left me unsatisfied and a bit confused by the story arch of the Didact compared to the novel.I like this review its honest.

If you're good at Reach? you mean the second worst Halo game next to Halo 2? Halo 4 is about tied with Reach for crappyness at the moment.With Updates i think Halo 4 could be right under Halo 1 as far as being a good competitive game with the proper updates that isn't too broken.Halo 2 was bad because you could abuse so much map glitching and auto-aim made me lol,put the cross-hair next to someone head and will pull towards it,its so n00btastic.The problem with Reach isn't as severe its just Diet Halo 3 with armor abilities that fail in the same way they do in Halo 4.Halo 3 and Combat Evolved will always be the best Halo games.Halo Reach killed MLG Halo for a reason sir.Halo 4 has potiental either with updates or to teach mistakes to the creators for a good Halo 5...i swear if Halo 5 is terrible i drop the Halo franchise.
