The part above where it says "Quando il gioco è finito, il re e pedina andare nella stessa scatola" those are the first words cortana said, its the italian king-pawn quote. Since 343s creator was Chakas and Cortanas was Halsey this must mean Halsey has the geas of the librarian.

I think they've got to kill him, especially if what I think is going to happen happens. Wont happen until Halo 6 though.

Well its obvious they are withholding the information in episode 3 because we see the videos of them in combat with the covenant, and sully has been piecing together those videos since the first episode.

I think a few of us totally called his brother already being dead and the videos are just being re-watched. Excited for Chief next week, looks awesome, except the giant 117 on his chest is kind of corny.

They most definitely would not overlay the "An ancient evil awakens" text over top of the Didacts emblem and not have it be the Didact. Also 343 says in the terminal ".. without the librarian to temper his rage" who else could this be referring to other than the Didact??

Id hardly call it lazy, keep in mind a good chunk of brutes were killed by the end of halo 3, and im sure the elites didnt stop hunting them down. Also the Storm Covenant, the faction of the covenant that are in Halo 4, were made up of elites and their followers, and as we know no brute would be the follower of an elite, and these elites went against the Arbiter.

I think they had to go overkill on his death just to prove to us he did die. He got blasted by 343gs, died as we saw, then his corpse fell off a bridge, on a halo thats been activated, and then everything blows up.

Is this thread really happening? Why dont we bring back captain keys while we're at it so he can perform some daring move in the infinity at the end of halo 6 to save everyone, and the prophets, so we can go on a mission in halo 5 to get them to join the cause against the prometheans. In fact how about we reassemble noble team and they can fight along chief as well.

I vote we get to play as cortana in halo 5 = P

Cortana has to die or transcend, and chief has to die both by halo 6, I honestly see no other outcome. Unless Cortana can be re purposed by incorporating herself into something larger, maybe some forerunner tech or something she has to die, and if she dies chief wont really have anything when theres no more war.
