Oh, alright. Well from what I've seen there are different shades of each colour (multiple reds etc.) Not sure if there is a video or picture of them all though!

I'm not sure I quite understood what you said but... Yes? There are other visor colours (lots of them) Also, might be good to look at this picture, Emothic - seems to have most (maybe all?) of the helmets. http://halo4nation.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/HskAd-747x1024.jpg

You might want to clarify that by stating "USB memory stick" instead of just a "USB" USB is just the type of connector, not the memory unit itself. Nitpicking aside, yes - this is a great way to solve this issue. May be worth upgrading your xbox hard drive eventually as they're selling pretty cheap right now. EDIT: I hereby request this to be pinned. The usefulness of this guide may help many people.

Looks like most stores in the US ran out a while ago. Might be worth contacting some stores/websites and asking if they'll order one in for you. Thankfully for me, when Gamestation (UK game store) ran out of copies, they got more in so I could preorder! Edit to answer your other question: From what I've seen, Gamestop has the most preorder content (verification needed as I am not in the US) but as everyone seemed to go there first for the LE, I'm not sure what your chances are of getting one. Otherwise, the preorder bonuses are skins for armours and weapons - they give no real advantage in game, they just make you look more distinct.

I have been hoping that friendly fire would be turned off (for big team slayer, at least) In Reach, I refuse to play big team slayer anymore. 9/10 matches include me running to get the tank or wraith, and having 2-3 team mates shooting me to the point that the vehicle will blow up when shot once with a DMR. It's infuriating to know that I can get 40-60 kills consistently if my team had any honour (the few matches I have had where my team hasn't ruined the tank for me I always get a lot of kills) inb4 stop hogging the tanks. I'm there first, if you stop to pick up a sniper/rocket launcher and STILL try to take the tank, you have no rights to it.

That's the whole point of this thread, really. Originally it did state that the Recruit armour was an in-game LE exclusive.

I'm sorry but this isn't always true (example http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Halo-2-Limited-Collectors-Edition-Complete-GC-Xbox-360-Fast-Post-/160902270528?pt=UK_PC_Video_Games_Video_Games_JS&hash=item257685ce40 Halo 2 is 8 years old and is selling from abour £4 for the limited edition) Everyone is entitled to their opinion, some value in game items that they can show off to the masses of players online more than items that will lay on a shelf to be viewed by friends and family. Monetary value doesn't play into it, it's more of a value of personal pride and joy. (before you rage at me, please note that I am not downgrading - I just see the viewpoints of both arguments.)

Well if you read my last comment on page 3 then if you're more interested in the in-game content than the physical stuff then it's cheaper to go for the standard edition. I'll quote my own post for you. tl;dr standard edition and map pack pass costs £16 cheaper than the LE and gets more in game content. I'm not sure where they're getting the "saving 15% on DLC!" because the way I see it, you're just spending £16 on the other content and missing out on in game stuff.

In theory it's a great idea but in practice, it may not be. The majority of the time, vehicles are killed with the drivers inside (rockets, splasers, rabidsnipermonkeys) so you wouldn't have a real need to repair the vehicle. It's not often you spend the whole match in a single vehicle, and considering the average match ends in 8-12 minutes, it's just as easy to grab a new vehicle instead of attempting to "babysit" a single one. I wouldn't mind if Operator was given the ability, but I don't think I'd use it much in practice.

Greetings! My humblest apologies if these have been asked before (don't have time to read through 50 pages of posts during my daughters nap) or if they shouldn't be asked here! 1: Can you confirm that there will be no exclusive armour/flaming head for Limited edition purchasers? I preordered thinking that the Recruit armour would be an exclusive and yet, well...yeah... (Don't get me wrong, I don't intend to cancel my preorder and will still be happy with the game, I'm just a little disappointed) 2: For the map pack, will LE purchasers get the helmets that come with the map packs? If not, why? If so, thanks! 3: Puppies or kittens? Thank you for your time, have a good one! Regards, psi

If there is "cute flower girl" camo, then yes!

The skins make your characters armour look slightly different (best example would be gun camo in CoD) Makes no difference to your gameplay but makes you look all pretty.

Actually if the map pack pass costs £15 as stated in this article: http://www.vg247.com/2012/08/15/halo-4s-war-games-map-pass-will-cost-you-25/ And I can purchase Halo 4 standard edition for £34 in my local Sainsburys then I would be paying £49 altogether whereas my limited edition is costing me £65 and I don't get the helmets from the map pack. Just giving you some math. But I'm personally still getting my Limited edition. Because I can right now.

Scorpion! It turns on easy mode for matchmaking.

Here you go, Cassius - have a link to the skins I shall be getting: http://www.gamestation.co.uk/gs/halo-4-limited-edition-172031?pageSize=21&searchTerm=halo%204 Also, the preorder skins won't be being released as DLC later on (the avatar items and props will be though) I read it in an article linked in the forums here but I don't have the page saved, sorry!

I'll admit, I had to do a double-take! Many chuckles were had!

Whilst I am disappointed by the lack of in game exclusive armour, it's not something that will make me downgrade.

If you want to save money in the long-run then buy the LE (map packs work out cheaper) If you're in the UK then Gamestation (Game is the same company so I'd imagine them, too) still accepts preorders. If you don't want bonus books, schematics and downloadable 90 minute Halo action-drama, exclusive skins and "early access to all of the specialisations" then just go for the standard edition and buy the map packs later if you so choose.

The LE is still worth it but when I preordered I was expecting an exclusive armour set. Throughout my many years of playing Halo, I had always missed out on getting the flaming helmets (my fault entirely) but I preordered thinking "THIS TIME, exclusive show-off powers shall be mine!" Oh well, I'm still happy that I preordered but a little disappointed. And it won't help if what I'm reading about the map packs getting helmets and LE players not getting them turns out to be true. (yes, they're paying for the maps and giving 343 extra money but isn't that what LE players are doing, too?) I won't cancel my preorder but I figured I'd voice my opinion.
