You are not forced to use this perk, I get grenade kills quite often with loadouts that do not have it. The one loadout I have that does make use of this perk also uses the grenadier tac mod and pulse grenades.

Pro, noob, its all relative. I have friends who get destroyed at any Halo game. Play them at CS or just about any PC shooter and you get your ass gift wrapped and fedexed to you. A couple of them are tourney winners at these games. They still dont cry like the "pros" on the forums do.

CoD panders to the casuals. They could change every aspect of the game, even make you shoot at the enemy by firing popcicles out of your arse and still people would buy it in mass.

Many of those people who started back at the begining, during the Halo CE DUKE days are now grizzled ancients with careers, children and a 401k. The true fans who have followed the series over the years do not play as often because of LIFE keeps us busy. Many of us do still play, when free time allows. I remember hiding in the base in Gulch to stay alive as I ran to the fridge to grab another beer, the five people playing in the kitchen saw me and began a mad scramble to find the body I left behind. I remember the first time we planted the bomb on Zanzibar, sweating and swearing at each other across continents as the timer counted down. I remember trekking across Sandtrap with a bloody gravity hammer across my back and a flag in my hands, hoping they would make it with the Hog before the Chopper found me. I remember yelling obscenities aftet sticking a grenade to an opponent only to have him put his fist to the ground and glow as the grenade was flung off and detonated next to me, only to see a familiar face materialize out of nothing and stab the enemy in his head. I remember the forums, always cries of sacriledge and treason. Always.

I have to disagree. I have seen some of the worst spawn camping and rocket + sniper + overshield camping ever in Halo 3. Where I have literally spawned in and been sniped before I even take a step.

I enjoy the changes. Its a game for fun, not the world series of baseball. This is the fifth game it was time for some radical changes, Halo- Hali Reach was getting stale. Lastly Map control=camping Weapon control=power weapon camping. I should nof have to play with a timer for weapon drops or go into forge and memorize all the spawn points to have a chance in the game.

Im a quarter of the way to Pulse grenade master. Plasma pistol is the hardest commendation by far.

Over the course of 4 games there has been a lot different gametypes. To include every single one at launch would be overkill. When I think about each installment I associate a certain gametype with it. Halo CE= Slayer Halo 2= Assault Halo 3= Infection Halo Reach= Invasion Halo 4 = Dominion Of course ODST only had firefight.

So when did this term become the new "noob". People seem to use it most often when describing any player that uses any of the weapons besides the DMR. ie-halo 4 is suck because it rewards bad kids who get AR kills with a rocket launcher . Thoughts?

The first set of DLC maps were made by Bungie, Certain Affinity made the defiant map pack you armor lock loving plebian. There were many subtle and nuanced changes made to weapons, AA, melee damage and more.

Halo 4 is a fun game, its no Halo 3 or Halo 2 or even Halo Reach. If it was I would be pissed that I payed 60 bucks for it.
