They do have a flashing call sign when you're firing or taking damage. (Maybe I'm mistaken but I know for a FACT it flashes between blue and orange when your shields have popped). The radar thing was a little tricky to get used to. I don't know how much of a hindrance it was or if maybe it was an overlooked after thought? Well never know.

So I'm logged in on my phone but wanted to log in on my PC so I could customize some things and realized I have no idea what email I signed up for or any of my passwords. I suppose someone could PM me and it would send me a notification to the correct email I have synced to my phone but that still doesn't solve the password option... What do I do?

Why not just play the game and use whatever weapons you prefer? If you're constantly coming up short in mid to long range use the hard light shield or something I dunno.

Thank you sir for the private message. That was uncalled for and totally appropriate. Nobody made you care about another forum member much less one that you don't normally agree with but you did anyway. And I wanted the public to know how stand up and awesome that really is. Now. Lets talk matchmaking. To do good on MY part. I thought I'd bring us full circle. My original expectations when joining the forums was to play Halo with like minded individuals. My brother is a PC guy. He works for some Fortune 500 company as their IT guy. Way smarter than I am. I'm an Army mechanic. (91B). He's always bragging about STEAM and the close knit friends he makes on PC that I don't get because I'm a console gamer. I was so eager to prove him wrong that I joined... 343i fan forums. It was rough at first. I didn't know how to talk to people especially gamers online. They are rough to say the least. Then it got easier. Final Sentence even took the time to train up in a dojo on my behalf in response to a thread I wrote about my lack of skill. Lol. I realized how to voice my opinion without coming off like a total tool. But after ALL the arguing and bickering and debates it made me realize I have nothing in common with any of y'all. Least not the influx since November 6th, 2012. So this is me trying to get back to my roots. Thanks to Bloody Initiate. Thanks man. Seriously. Lets talk War Games. What makes it good? This is strictly positive talk so if you don't care for it, argue it in another thread. I need a breath of fresh air and to be reminded why the community is one I cherish and love. Lol. It's rare. Maybe they already patched it? I've played about 600 games so far and it's only happened once. It also put me on my own team. Against the Spartans AND Flood... I dunno weird. Too bad Flood mode won't let you choose what kind if Flood you want to be instead of loadouts. Like the fat ones that explode and turn into the creepy crawlers. Or the brute ones or elite ones. Of course infested Spartans are kinda scary...

I like how people just throw out BS (yeah that's bull $h!t not bolt shot) stats like they are accurate, four body lengths? .2 or .3 seconds reaction time? Where did you get any of these stats? Guns are fun to shoot. At the range, under supervision and with care. I've fired a 240B, a .50 cal machine gun, a saw, my M4, shotguns, cowboy lever action (fired long colt) revolvers, magnums, 45's, M9's, a 203 grenade launcher, a mark 19, and several hunting rifles an not once had the desire to slaughter children. That's just disgusting. Guns are not the problem. Sick people are the problem. Just imagine if someone in that Colorado theatre had a concealed carry permit. Might have gone down a little differently. This isn't a thread for gun control besides which. This is a thread for the families and the victims and to pay respect. Sick people do sick things. Just wish it hadn't had happened...

Excellent points. It's like Eric Harris and Dylan Clebold are household names. EVERYONE remembers where they were and what they were doing when they heard about the Colorado shootings. But I challenge anyone to name ONE victim from columbine. You can thank mass media for that. That's not a hack. I've actually randomly started out with my first Loadout when a JIP happens. I had a DMR and a boltshot. It was freaking weird. :/

Yeah but if you do this isn't there a ban hammer? I boosted a few achievements on Reach and got banned for like a week. I wasn't even boosting KD. So SURELY there must be some sort of ban against killing people who are obviously not playing... Like in reach.

My opinions over what a game should be are just mine amongst millions. That's not what my thread was arguing. Whether its like CoD now. Because if it was, yeah. To an extent I agree with you. It doesn't feel like the Halo I remember. But news flash to myself and anyone else listening. It doesn't matter what I remember. It doesn't matter what is OP and what's to come. What matters is the here and now. What matters is ways to improve skill, quality of gameplay, and overall experience from things that I can control.. Not get on some forum and cry and cry and cry and cry about stuff that's NEVER going to change. Seriously. Go back to threads written on November 6th and look between now and then and look how many people there are complaining about this or that. Then go back and count how many people made a thread ADMITTING that they weren't the best and asking for tips to get better. I don't think the numbers will surprise you. It's in people's nature to ***** and moan. It seems like they are the most vocal here at the forums. But the ammount of MLG noise they make doesn't mean they are right for wanting to warp everyone's experience. Give them their playlist and be done with it. So who cares if it FEELS like CoD? Also with dexterity it increases weapon swapping time. It's as easy as double tapping Y. I don't complain about it though. I just use that and the DMR to the best of my ability. If using the best weapons is "noobish" then whatever. People act like if thy do change things that people won't just migrate to the next powerhouse weapon. Lets say they 4 shot the BR. You think I won't be using that instead? It's a lost cause... All this crying about moderation. Wanna know a GARAUNTEED way of beating those pesky BS users? PV and resupply. Just chuck a grenade at suspected hotspots and you're good. Be careful when clearing tight corridors... People act like its impossible to stand up against a BS. It's not... If you're having this much trouble taking out this then I feel bad for you...
