  1. I dunno. Worked fine for me. Had a little trouble with the shotgun but that's only because every level is long corridors and its harder to crouch sneak.
  2. And what about mine? I'm not having trouble with servers or connectivity. Just my stats aren't there and I don't know why. I'm not really good with computers so I don't know... But was I wrong to post a thread asking ANYONE for help? Because so far I don't see anyone else having my problem.
  3. I'm not having any of those issues my problems are minor in comparison. My other thread was locked but (question hasn't been asked here) so ill ask it. My service record isn't updated at all. It takes a VERY long time for it to happen. Any ideas? I'm like 100 and 35 K/D right now. (Yeah I'm bragging a little) but my service record says 36 and 21. Um... Am I doing it wrong...?
  4. When you put it like that yeah I can see that. I just think that's such a long way off... I'm so damn impressed by this game it's just insane.
  5. I beat the first two campaign missions on legendary, played war games and haven't even TOUCHED spartan ops yet. This game is FULL of replay value. At first glance I dare say it doesn't need anything. Although game mechanics seem a little stiff... Not aiming and all that but how it looks when the enemy moves...? Maybe it's just me. Too much reach.
  6. So Kelly, Fred, Linda, and John are the only Spartans left? (Until the Spartan IV's anyway) and Jun is not accounted for? Hmmm. Well now I get to wiki Fred and Kelly now. Just when you thought you knew a story because you beat 1, 2, 3, and reach... Turns out there's even MORE backstory... Bah...
  7. Who's Kelly and Fred? I've never read the books. Just got a basic understanding of Halo storyline from Halo wiki. I thought Linda, Jun, and John were all that was left? I know that FUD is before the fall of reach which makes sense if this Fred and Kelly are dead. But that's still doesn't tell me who they are?
  8. Well you can research it on Google, Xbox.com, 343i forums..., hell even IMDb has it slotted and have it 8.7/10. With ratings like that where can they go BESIDES make a budgeted movie!? I mean it was so well put together. The ODST soldiers... The convenant. The CHIEF! And that badass they fought in episode 5... C'mon. If some fans can get together and do THIS, imagine what a well funded Hollywood big screen movie can do. I'm sure it's been petitioned before but with Halo 4 hours away and FUD a complete success... I think it's time the chief took the silver screen. What's stopping them anyway? Fans are excited. Hell people who don't even like Halo were giving RAVE reviews about how well put together the series was! If they can shell out money to give some Bullsh** their own movies (Resident Evil, Max Payne, BloodRayne... Yeah I know...) then why can't chief get his time? If it was HALF as good as FUD I'd HAPPILY pay my 20 bucks for my 3D glasses and a ticket. He's a cash cow. And after a decade I think he deserves his dues. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go watch the series again. That is all.
  9. Master Chief drives the games. Without the games there would be no books. The books don't decide whether he lives or dies that's ridiculous. That's like them writing a graphic novel about sonic the hedgehog and killing him off with Sega planning on 2 more games? Wtf? No sense whatsoever.
  10. I disagree. I was a legit 50 on lone wolves when I played. I play team slayer and get stuck with boosters at LEAST 5 games a day. There was no booting and there was no stopping them. The only reason 50 was obtainable for me is because I didn't rely on a community. If I wanted ranked competition I played by myself. Any other time and I played with a team it was social because I found the community too undependable. I wasn't upset at skill... Nobody's measuring virtual schlongs I get that. I know a more competitive gamer enjoys the challenges... But is it worth every gamers comfortability? I agree that Halo has a much bigger market too to appeal to. You're not just catering to the die hard competitive fans anymore. You're (as a gaming market) trying to appeal to die hard battlefield, CoD, and fans of pretty much any of game besides Halo. They want new business and I'm sure 343 doesn't want too competitive of a market to scare away potential new investors in their game, ESPECIALLY since they already planned a trilogy. It's about marketing to a new audience. It's all about the Benjamins. No hard feelings I'm sure to their loyal fans but they aren't gonna retire based on us. They want EVERYONE playing.
  11. It would work on PS3. Slap it on a Blu-ray Disc and call it a day! Lousy good for nothing PS3... (Mad because I don't own one).
  12. Can someone please point me in the right direction how to edit birthday profile pictures etc for this forum? I've been here for 2 weeks nearly and still don't know how. I'm using my iPhone 4S to browse the web. If that matters at all.
  13. I was a fan of Halo 3. But where do people get off saying Reach was a failure? I thoroughly enjoyed it. The campaign was a little weak but I found matchmaking to have a lot of good replay value through armor unlocks and the not knowing what the next match had in store. I suppose I'm a casual gamer. Since Halo 3 I've never run into a problem with a teammate hurling him or herself over a cliff to rank down so they can boost. That was foolish nonsense I still don't get right up there with team killing for power weapons. A number was not even an issue in Halo : Combat Evolved. But it was still considered by most to be the best FPS since Goldeneye. Numbers don't make a game fun. Attention to details and obvious hard work do. The replay value you get is the first killamanjaro you get or your first perfection. The first time you get an extermination or go 47 and 6. Games like those kept me coming back and it was good. If there is a competitive ranking system there why isn't that good enough? I don't understand where that argument has any base. Not to attack anyone's opinion I just don't see why it matters that much when the saga didn't even start off like that. Plus I like Reach. Lol. It was a good game that evolved the same old boring matchmaking. I was glad they at least attempted to take it in a different direction.
  14. Phew... I was wasted last night... And now I feel all derp derp derp... What a fail.
  15. I'm so sorry... I didn't know... Are you okay at least now? If you were chartered under those conditions I would double check with the VA as they might be able to give you benefits that may help. Chaptered. * lol.
  16. I salute your for your service. I'm giving it up for you all. Let me know with a comment how you appreciate them.
  17. We are. I'm proud to have served in OEF 11. That was a deployment I will remember for the rest of my life. No words can explain it. My only hope is that people will see how much the military sacrifices for the some more than others to earn nothing more than a paycheck. Does that make us patriots? No. Does that earn me my 1st amendment. Hell yes. Let me tell you a story. It was August 2011. I was stationed in RV South Afghanistan. I was included in force protection. I had worked 9 months 12 hour days 7 days a week on this fob and my job but that day is a day I will remember for the rest of my life. It started out like any other day. I woke up at 0600 and went to the ECP (entry control point). My job was to scan vehicles entering the base looking for drugs or bombs. One of the regulars was driving on post. I greeted him in Dari yelling SENGAY! He greeted me saying juri!!! We went through the motions and I established his vehicle was clean. As soon as the search lane was clear another flatbed came on the fob slow but stopping in order for K9 forces to do their once over. I heard loud POP POP POPS that I recognize today as 762 rounds being fired roughly 500 meters from our position on highway 1. At the time I was a noob. Unfamiliar with direction and distance and treated it as you probably had. Nothing. I continued my search with the vehicle. The South African K9 asked me did you hear that? And sure enough I did. I went to the back of the truck and climbed on the back to see over the T wall barricades that lined our post. What I saw was an 18 wheeler stationary on highway 1. After a few moments I saw the smoke and was the first one to respond to ECP 7 our leader what I saw. "Smoke from an 18 wheeler approximately 500 meters at 11 o'clock. Be advised shots fired." No sooner did I respond did the garbage truck I had searched previously fly back out the entrance gate. I saw about 5 minutes worth of memory but It felt like 30 seconds. He was back with a body on the back of his truck. I searched the body and to this day I'll never forget the look in his eyes. Empty. Bleak. And filled with nothing. It all happened so fast that I had to wonder if I had reacted sooner would that boy I was searching still be alive? That boy with a softball exit wound laying behind garbage and trash. He died there and QRF quich rolled out to eliminate that attacking force but it was too late. He was the victim of a drive by and his assailants were long gone. To this day if we had more people there would he had lived? I ask myself this from time to time.... My point is what we do as soldiers airmen marines or airmen is important. On a daily basis it is the reason for life and death.nothing we do us worthless or wasting our time. It isn't a waste of money it isn't a waste of time. What were you doing in August 2011? Was it important? Because people died that day. Not me but sometimes I wish it was based on how I handled it that day. We don't appreciate our troops as much as we should. Or know what they deal with on a day to day basis. Show gratitude and show support. Because you might be the only one who does. While I live with what happened that day you slept peacefully. I didn't act on patriotism or even orders... I just wish that poor kid was alive. I wish our military had more going for them than conflicting reports for the media. I don't expect anyone to understand or react based off of sympathy. I just wish more would show hard working veterans the meaning of gratitude. It would've the demons we have to live with a little more bearable than what we face today. Thank a soldier. Thank a HUMAN. You might save their life. Support our US Armed Forces. I prologue for the typos. When I drink I become emotional and forget grammar. Apologize * not prologued.
  18. So you're okay with people flying planes into buildings? Just making sure. The military is as essential as any of the things you named. Hospitals are required to render aid whether you can afford it or not. Cost isn't a factor until after you've been treated. The scary thing is one day they will be. What kind of agenda are our parents furthering? Are we a generation of handouts or are we a generation of selfless service?
  19. Lol. Thanks man. I just wanna do the right thing. Ruining anyone's gaming experience is a crime no matter who ya are! Intentionally of unintentionally.
  20. To being with I would like to publicly apologize if I insighted any arguments. That wasn't my intention. Secondly I am accepting challenges if you'd like to play Halo. Just let me know. For the love of the game. And that's it. What people do in their free time or how much or little people play games is not a matter of not having a life. For some people that is life. So no criticism. From here on out if you have a disagreement send me a PM and I will address it as appropriately as possible. Once again starting conflict wasn't my goal and I'm publicly apologizing to anyone who may have been offended. Thanks for your time and consideration.
