Not to drudge up anything but I'm curious. What are Forum Mods? What do they do? What does it mean if they are "watching" you? Someone mentioned this in a thread from earlier during a heated argument. I just want to know what that means as I'm new to this site. Thanks.

When I was in Afghanistan me and my team chief would play Halo 3 everyday after work. After I wasn't doing FOB ECP I was playing with other mechanics and my section sergeants because it was something to get my mind off of what I was doing everyday. I got pretty damn good at what I do and how I play. So when I got back in January I carried it on and that's what I do on a daily basis. Squeeze in some time with like minded individuals to play competitevly and noncompetitevly whenever I can. And in looking for friendly competition I found you. Some dirtbag with zero drive to do anything productive and probably contributes that much to life in general. I play Halo with guys from auto and distro platoon and when I can pick up new guys to play with from the forums who actually play and respect the game for what it is. A game. Something to shell off some stress with and enjoy. But retards like you are so intent on taking that away that you don't even think about the life of the person you're talking to or what that actually means to them. Sincerely if you were sitting next to me and mouthed off some stupid **** like that I would kick your teeth down your puke hole for being such an assclown. Not because Halo means that much to me, but because you mean that little. So the way I see it is we can solve this one of two ways. Either play me in the game and we leave it on the field or quit bitching. I've said my peace and you know where I stand. But I expect more trash talk and more BS because that's who you are. You're only allowed to play Halo with his team and his team alone because he has no friends. With an attitude like that I can see why. Tell you what. In a perfect world bribery doesn't exist. But espionage? I think some groups are taking the wrong thing too seriously IMO. I would never waste my time spamming forums to join a group to figure out their trade secrets hoping it'll make me a better player. I'm married with a one year and I work 15 hour days. I'm a mechanic in the US ARMY. When am I ever gonna have time to do that? I know that comment wasn't directed at me I just imagine the idea as laughable. I mean really who does that? The way I see it is this. If you wanna be in a clan or a group of friends or a group or whatever it is you're calling it whoever is hosting or sponsoring said group should be upfront and clear at expectations of group goals and member expectations. You should have well thought up principles your team abides by and a clear cut goal when it comes to challenges. My basic idea of a clan is team v. team excersises. That being said (and I posted this in another thread BTW) is if you wanna play Halo with friends that's one thing. If you want to play Halo and be friends with anyone who looks in your general direction, don't get your feelings hurt when it doesn't happen. Especially when group leaders are inconsistent with how they negotiate member terms. How is that person to blame? That said the GT change isn't always a bad idea. That's member preference. Spending money to change your GT would encourage unit cohesion and discourage abandonment once part of said group. Of course that all depends on how serious you take it. If you're worried about "espionage" and not willing to change your GT, then there enlies the problem. Haha. Priorities. Are. Wrong? See how I did that? Came full circle with my rant? Anywho best of luck to our team finding adventures. I hope you all find what you're looking for. And are hopefully able to discern from the inane questions hurled upon you by drooling imbeciles almost daily. There are more than a handful on here... Myself included at times.

On the topic of clans... Call me cocky. But I've checked out several of your "clans" and I've seen better put together organizations in a shaken ant farm. I have solid ideas that would make a descent clan. I wasn't even asking to be anybody important in yours. I could beat 75% of you and your "clans" with a lawn chair tied to my right arm. Makes me sad to see so much potential lost to has beens with nothing more than illusions of grandeur. Call me bitter. Call me Baeztoberfest. Maybe I was hoping on something a little more out together... So far I had one REAL offer from some dude who claims to have 7 members. I tell you what I've got though. Skill. Beat your face in unadulterated skill. I've got guts. I've got good ideas. That being said... Why does every clan I see want an alliance with someone else? How did anyone become número UNO by making friends with every other shabby militia Halo has to offer? Whatever happened to becoming the best at what it is you do?
