Hayabusa was from ninja gaiden. Ninja gaiden 3 had Halo 3 Easter eggs by having hidden skulls. It was a tip of the hat for both games acknowledging each other. I liked it though. The armor that is. Make a roster and I'll sign it. Lol. Icecream paint job. Breast cancer awareness Spartans FTW. What's up with defender and infiltrator? Those look HIDEOUS. Infiltrator looks like you took an ugly stick to the face full force and defender looks happier than an ant in candy land! The orbital skull just looks weak... I see what they wanted to do. Something like Emile's helmet from Reach? The Brute face? It would've been a good helmet minus the stupid skull...

Agreed. I do think however the bulk of the torsos is missing in Halo 4. I just don't feel like a killer. Lol.

That's just it. I can't tell the difference between any of them besides sharper edges. Orbital is the only armor that looks somewhat different. And the helmets. Jeez those things just look BAD. I can't honestly say there's one I like even a little. In Halo 3 I wore EOD but in this game... It just looks so boring. In Halo Reach I wore CQC helmet. But they chucked it for some reason. Now I wear warrior. Or maybe it's soldier? The lower tiered one at any rate. Because its neutral. Just my opinion mind you.

Tonight I did a big team battle and mine was "explosion". What the heck does this even mean? Lol. Y'all seen any other weird ones?

Is it me or is the armor in the game crap? I can never decide what to wear because it all just looks so BAD. There's too much primary color in the suits and not enough secondary. Also the "skins" just look terrible. The same helmet there twice. And each version looks like crap. Is this just me? Or did y'all like the other armors in previous Halo's better too?

I never put the shot glass down. Everytime I die, make an assist of any kind, make a kill, or move in any general direction, I do a double. Just ask anyone who's played with me. I would do 200 push-ups... But there's not enough time after my 5 minute abs and 50 pull-ups in the door jam.

Just thought some attention to detail on 343i's detail from this weapon similarity perspective could be fun to discuss. Energy Sword = Promethean Knight Sword Arm Plasma Launcher = Incineration Cannon Covenant Carbine = Light Rifle Plasma Rifle = Suppresor Plasma Pistol = Boltshot (To an extent...) One thing that wasn't really clear to me was needle weaponry. Where does that similarity fit in? What needle like weapons do Prometheans have? Also on the last mission MIDNIGHT, where the have that collection of interspecies weaponry they are studying there was a Brute Hammer there. Hammer was Tartarus's weapon of choice. Brute Plasma Rifle was fizzled out a long time ago... Why not study more Brute weaponry? Do the Brutes only have five weapons? (Used in game)? Spiker Plasma Rifle Hammer Brute Shot Mauler Just thought this was a good discussion to see what Covenant weapons mirrored the Forerunner weapons. And how Brute weapons play into this if at all. Edit : Yes I know the Fist Of Rukt was Tartarus's weapon but its basically a Gravity Hammer.

I'd rather die then waste bullets. I just rush in guns ablazing. It's super theatrical, rarely works, and makes me feel like a super star when it's pulled off. I use scattershot, boltshot, IC, lightrifle, and binary rifle. When it's available I just use plasma pistol. I never really had a bullet sponge problem. Like I said. I just rush the attack. My solo legendary experience took about 5 days from November 6th. It was long... Tedious. But most of all fun. I'm a CQC guy though. That helped alot. Lots of assassinations and most of my methods were to get in close. Cross the threshold. I liked it because it was something different. Not the agro elites that rush you when you pop their shields. It's almost completely opposite.

I cry between games... Maybe excersise is a good alternative.

I knew what you meant. I just had to disagree. And most officers are reserved and all that yes. I was just speaking from personal experience. He didn't have that demeanor to me is all. He seemed to be concerned about his equipment. Sure he didn't say how much each marine meant to him but I think he was thinking big picture. But all we have to go on was what we saw, not conjecture so unless motive is revealed in another title we will never know. Also we knew it was armed to the teeth. Especially if you read the LE extra stuff. Also the MAC gun on THE LEVEL INFINITY? I hardly think it was the only one. It's capacity to harbor NUMEROUS frigates... When did we not know this? We knew it was the largest most badass interstellar flag ship before the game even came out. Um...?

Why not have both?

Smg was best used with the plasma rifle. Nobody is complaining that they didn't include that? Or it's shiny red cousin? I for one miss the plasma rifle smg combo. Hell either one by themselves really. They can keep that storm rifle crap.

I know in Halo CE one magnum round from behind would kill them. Hunter kryptonite. Lol. Do they even have weaknesses like this anymore!?
