  1. Halo 4 seemed rushed at times. The Didact's face was revealed much too early. We've been wondering what the Forerunners look like for a very long time, and then they just show up and that's what they look like. Yeah it was interesting but not what I imagined at the end of Halo 3. More nostalgia. In the first trilogy, there was always little hints to the previous games. Installation 04's Control Room in Halo 3 was my favorite. But in Halo 4, there was only the Space Monks theme (which I greatly appreciated). But I want more. Mention some events that happened in the previous games. Give us a good reminding quote. More cameos. And that brings me to my next topic which asks where did everyone go? I've been looking forward to finding out about Jun, Lord Hood, Arbiter, and the rest of the characters. You didn't show us anything. Also we need more mystery. Give us more questions to think about. Halo 3's terminals gave me that feeling, that the story was a lot larger than what we saw in the cutscenes. Don't give us any answers. I was hoping Chief would be alone on Requiem. That was my imagining of it. Him and Cortana exploring the massive planet and unearthing mysteries. The Infinity coming in to save the day ruined it for me. I miss Halo 2's gritty feeling by the way. Just saying. So yeah this is all.
  2. If anyone knows this or has a guide, I would appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.
  3. I believe Lasky will be a big character in Halo 5. He approaches Chief like a friend, and seems to connect with him in a way other characters don't. And his quote at the end, about soldiers and machines, relates too well to John. I have a feeling Lasky will be as close to Chief as Sergeant Johnson was. Just speculating here. Who could possibly become John's new partner in Halo 5? Could it be Arbiter? Spartan IV's? Maybe... Blue Team?
  4. Wow... That was an incredible game. It almost didn't even feel like Halo. In a good way though. Did anyone else feel kind of... disturbed, at the end? Like, really sad, and almost scared? It's just that so much happened. We saw so many new things. And there was so many surprises. The story was incredibly dark, more so than all the previous games combined. There is barely a glint of hope at the end. If you're really a fan of the series, it even takes something away from you. I teared up at the end. Especially when I heard "I'll always take care of you". Just thinking of her at the beginning of Halo Combat Evolved, to now. How much she has changed and become John's best friend, their amazing relationship... Just so many thoughts. I'm still trying to figure out if it was a dream. The vaporization scene was so disturbing. To see the effects Forerunner weaponry has on Human bodies. Ugh. Lasky is cooler than I expected. He's a great character, and says and does things no other character would. The quote at the end was perfect. That was the most memorable Halo game yet. It felt like the end to a series though, not the beginning of a new trilogy. I'm a little worried for Halo 5, to be honest. I don't know where the series is going, at all. Like I said, it felt like the end to a story. Perhaps Spartan Ops will hold some answers? Sorry for no spoiler covers in here, on my phone. EDIT: My one complaint: The music was put into the cutscenes horribly. Neil Davidge, I think his name is, did a fantastic job! But we hardly hear it under the dialogue in the cutscenes. The music seemed way too quiet. EDIT 2: I am a huge fan of the series. The Halo series is something very close to me. I know many of you can relate. I am very critical about story details and such, but I always place my trust in 343 to do it right. And they have. So people should relax with all the hate.
  5. I hope this isn't an "I Love Bees" sort of campaign that we're completely failing at.
  6. The cutscenes, although they are CGI, look very good. They call the missions "bite sized", I hope this doesn't mean five minutes. And if season one is fifty episodes, will there be more seasons, with even more episodes?
  7. I am willing to help you. Gamertag: Saboor Mutaalim
  8. I personally play on Heroic the first time through with a friend. Everything is easier with a good ally by your side.
  9. Forward Unto Dawn refers to the night of despair and struggle and fear, but always moving towards the Dawn, which is peace.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=DIspQ1NmGf4 In this trailer, the words on the screen mention "An ancient hatred". He later says "Humanity stands as the greatest threat to the galaxy". I believe this is the less friendly Didact, who is hostile to humans. The voice heard throughout the trailer sounds like a self-righteous military leader. This could be a further indication.
  11. I think the "skull" encased in the helmet of the Promethean Knights is simply Forerunner. Forerunners had few anatomical similarities to humans, and that is what we see in the above picture. Similar brow and eye sockets can be noticed. However, the noses, jaws, and teeth are very different. The Promethean "skull" has a short snout with large nostrils. The human skull has only a visible nasal spine where the cartilage structure would have been in life. The Promethean's teeth are much longer and wider than human teeth. The mandibles on the Promethean's "skull" seem to have an indent on the meeting point of the chin, but that can also rarely be seen in humans. The interesting part about the Promethean's jaw is the bone structure near the bottom that juts out to the sides, where as a human's jaw has a very smooth and rounded angle. I believe that the skull inside the Promethean's head piece is a Promethean skull, and only resembles a human skull because the two species had slightly similar anatomies. Perhaps we will get a look at a Forerunner's face in Halo 4, and we will judge then.
