Yeah. It's what you like but when there is a conserted effort to drive the score of a game down because it isn't on "your system" I mean I remember reading about why video games aren't as mainstream in media as movies, music, art, etc. If there are a large majority of people who post terrible reviews just to discredit a game instead of realizing that a game like Halo, as big as it is is one of a handful of games tht demonstrates just how big gaming can be, then Ican see why gaming is viewed as primarily a kiddie hobby. Tomb Rader. Uncharted, Mario, COD, and Halo should be trumpeted by real gamers as an example of what gaming is. These games generate more money than most movies and yet the movie industry is seen as a mature form of entertainment. Fanboys will never go away and the game industry as a whole encourages them due to the hits to certain websites. My passion s gaming and unfortunately it will always be seen as niche or for kids due to the children who seem to have this inherent hatred of the hobby the claim to love.
