Do the terminals explain more? (Since you apparently have to exit the game to access them.) Also, is it possible that this will mean character development will have to focus on Chief? Perhaps the dichotomy between his soldiering and his human personality - so long repressed by his Spartan training - will bubble to the surface? Maybe he'll even go mad himself? I can see a lot of possibilities... but none as sweet, imo, as the dynamic between he and Cortanna (if thoese are the characters people are talking about... assuming.)

Man. Not having played the game, there are only two things I can imagine being the thing you guys are discussing. And either of them would make me really sad. I love these characters - if it's the two I'm thinking about - and if the dynamic between them has been irreparably altered, the games just won't feel the same. That said... this being sci-fi, and without spoiling anything, can you guys tell me if there is any conceivable way (really think about it before replying... put your writers' hats on lol) for them to undo this through some manner of convoluted plot twist in the next game?

So "early access" didn't mean people get the specializations and others don't? It just meant people can access them before level 50? That would be a huge load off my mind.

Well my understanding is that even if you hit level 50, if you didn't preorder and don't have LE, there are certain specializations you just won't get access to until they roll them out. Is that not the case? And if it is, how long will it take? How much if anything will they cost? Are they a patch? DLC?

I meant to include that I will not be getting the game until December (will edit original post to include this.) So, what then?

1) If I did NOT preorder, and if - hypothetically - there aren't any Limited Editions left by the time I get the game, AND I am not able to get the game until December (well after Nov 20th,) do I have to simply wait for 343i to roll out the specializations? 2) Is there any word on how long that might take? (I've seen wild speculation everywhere from 30 days to 6 months for all of them to hit Live.) 3) Any word on whether these will be free patches, or paid DLC? Thanks.
