Dude I had that same problem. I just took it back to GameStop they gave me a new game off a unopened one.

The weirdest thing just happend, my specializations are all gone again. This time though I played a spartan op all alone and they dissapered. Time to do it again. That really sucks balls just like this "glitch".

My problems with the specializations code got fixed. All Microsoft said to do is erase halo 4 file form hardrive, move saved halo4 game profile somewhere else and re-download everything except specialization. Remember move saved halo 4 game saves or save them somewhere else because your going to erase EVERYTHING.
What Microsoft said:
From the Xbox Dashboard. Go to:
Settings>System>Storage>Hard Drive>Games and Apps>Halo 4
Delete the following file: Halo 4 Game Unlocks.
Clear System Cache.
Go back to the Xbox Dashboard. Go to:
Settings>Account>Download History
Select and download Infinity Actual Kit only.
If that does not resolve the issue, move all your Halo 4 videos, film clips, and screenshots, forge maps, and game types to File Share or another storage device (Cloud Storage, Memory Unit, or USB flash drive). DO NOT transfer any DLC and leave them in the folder. I'm going to have you delete the Halo 4 folder.
After you have moved what you want to save. While in the Games and Apps folder:
Highlight the Halo 4 folder.
Press "Y" for Game Options.
Select Delete.
Go back to the Xbox Dashboard. Go to:
Settings>Account>Download History
Select and download Infinity Actual Kit only and any other Halo 4 DLC. DO NOT download "Specialization Priority Alpha".
This will reset your Halo 4 content as it was before downloading the token from 343 Industries. Also, you will need to reinstall disc 2.

What happened to my specializations their gone. Bought the limited editions of halo 4, any help would be nice.

My specialization are gone. LE code worked for a few hours I saw them, but now there gone and Xbox sent me a new code. So what's going on?

So I took my game back to GameStop got an exchange for a new one and this new one WORKS!!!!
Go do what I did!!! Defective disk looks like.

I went to play the campaign, the prologue loaded fine, but when I went to the first mission, Dawn, it loaded up to 33% then went back to 0, then back to 33%, the back to zero and it said something like "Players failed to load cogent. A player may be missing downloadable content." I tried to install the game to my hard drive after this and it loads up to 43% then stops. Anyone know what I can do?
Dude, you have the same problem I do! Don't know what's wrong but I'm going through the same thing.

I can't even play the campaign. I've installed disk 2. I've installed the game. The prologue plays when I start a new campaign, but then it won't load the first level. It just takes me back to the loading screen. Multiplayer seems to be working save for the servers being down, however the campaign refuses to load.
Any help would be appreciated.
You got the same problem as me. Does yours tell you, you did not download something too?

You press the eject button on the Xbox put in disk one all so you can get told "player did not download something" or something like that? Can 343 itself answer my question or can tell me something!

I'm trying to play the campaign.you can now play wargames on disc 1 but th servers are messed up so dont be surprised if you cant

So that didn't work. All it says is player failed to load content. A player may be missing dowloadable content. (This **** is getting annoying) Where the **** is a manager at?

So it says the content is installed. Please insert the halo 4 play disk now
A- ok (but the button does nothing) {is it suppose to open when I press it, or do I hit the open tray button}

Is it normal for the a button not to work once installation of disk 2 is done? It said press a for okay but it won't do anything?

Insert disc 2, that will start the launcher atuomatically, you don't download anything, you transfer files from the disc to your hard drive.
I'll try that out.

Mine won't even let me play. All it tells me player is missing downloadable content. Any help would be GREAT.
