I live in Australia and have played Halo online since I can remember. But to play online, it's only enjoyable when vsing other Australians, otherwise it's far too laggy, and simply not fun.
Previous Halo games like H3 and Reach have implemented this toggable feature and it has worked very successfully. But it's no where to be seen in H4. It may happen behind the scenes but it NEEDS to be an option for people like me who are isolated from the majority of the world that play this game. You see, I either want to play on a playable, good connection, or I don't want to play AT ALL. It's not fun to play on high latency host, I would rather not play. Many people are in the same boat as I am, and it just sucks. I don't care if something similar to this is there automatically, because it still gives me American hosts, and I don't want to play on those.
This NEEDS to be patched up, we NEED this option. I can guarantee myself, and many others in my position would rather not play this game if there isn't a good connection only option. Please look into this.
