Binary rifle by far, its the best of everything all roled into one. Basically an instant shooting splaser with 2 rounds per clip. Not as heavy on the vehicle damage, but hey - nukes everything else

Firstly, im not trying to doubt anyone's skill - but do you guys strafe/jump in close fights? The br is much easier to handle in these situations, i think they both have a place in the game.

I can let some things slide, as much as i just wanted halo3 with better graphics, i knew it wouldnt be so. So lets begin the tear apart; -Pointing out weapons, i can deal with. Still a little unsure if they ever respawn. But this is a small change i guess. -Ordnance drops, i can deal with. Haven't seen any give an unnecessary advantage yet, and they are needed if your stuck in your base because the other team has jacked all your vehicles and there is literally no other way to kill them. -Changing the score system away from 1 point for a kill to 10 points. No biggie at all, i just noticed it straight away and has been bugging me to no end for some reason. -Lack of playlists. Remember winding down to some good ol' griffball, or maybe a mongoose race? sure they were some of the craziest playlists and i didnt think would be included - but no SWAT? No doubles? No snipers? - MADNESS. Literally didn't see that one coming. -No competitive playlists/rank. Teamed unfairly with people all the time. I class myself as quite a good player, and to see me mow through a team of guys (as much as i love it) seems unfair, and can imagine their bitterness towards this system. Just my two cents. Cant see the competitive thing coming anytime soon, but please bring back some of the playlists, there's more than enough people playing to keep them all alive! -(could always get rid of oddball )

I started out BR, then found that its range has been nerfed, so flew over to the DMR. The DMR is great for large maps, and is viable on smaller ones... if you get caught napping though your gonna have a bad time DMR for valhalla/wetworks or w/e halo4 versions called, BR Promethean vision for the rest. I've found the BR to really make up ground when it comes to getting the last head-shot, it can be quite tricky with the DMR. Im most surprised at how they both have a role. Great balancing 343!

Hello forums! Great to see a lively forum for a game I may have missed an important announcement about any of the issues i have raised, don't flame too hard if i have! Three great playlists i enjoyed over all of the games which have had them included before, even if shotty snipers has been just mixed into the slayer playlist. Just wondering - has anyone heard about these being introduced in the future? On another note; one of the things i loved about halo 3 was that there were ranked playlists, not only finding equally matched teams in the ranked playlists, but also the social playlist the rank was also used so as not to make new comers feel out-gunned. Again - Anyone know of any information about this possibly being added?
