Looking in to his eyes does say one thing to me. He. Is. Pissed. This is a new company, a new beginning. Ground has to be broken somewhere, and 343 is taking Halo places some Bungie's Halo players are not going to like at all. The story has to keep expanding to keep the player interested, and not just by adding new conflicts and new characters. Showing his face is just one of these ground breaking events.

There is also something called a smart transistor that's being developed. Just imagine a light bulb that can remember the information stored in it after you turn it off and back on. I remember my professor talking about how if you replaced the transistor we're using now with these simple ones, we could develop a simple computer that processes faster than the human brain. So we aren't too far off.

I really loved that part! Just have a turret, give your marines light rifles and battle rifles, make sure you have grenades, and be a good shot. Start your defending at the door and as you get swarmed move your way towards the right. If you take out most of the crawlers before the prometheans show up the combination of marine turret fire and your general badassary will take them out with ease. Didn't lose a single marine after a couple of tries. I haven't finished legendary yet, but I know the hardest is going to be one of the last levels.

First, spellcheck. Use it. Second, they will say no. She's over 7 years old which in human years makes her a super crazy uncontrollable old lady. Third, not all spartans have an AI in their head. So I doubt he'll be getting a new one. Fourth, you do realize he detonated a nuclear warhead on the ship right? Last, if you payed any attention to the higher officiers on the Infinity, their attitude towards olders spartans don't seem to be very welcoming, and Master Chief is a soldier of the UNSC so they don't have to listen to anything he says. Oh and to answer your forum title? They will program it. That's how they'll do it.

The Librarian I believe told us she was kinda like a recording with limited functionality. You'd have to go back and listen to Master Chief and the LIbrarian's conversation again.

Thank you friend. She's the smartest of all the AI's, but she isn't based off of any forerunner technology. She's based off of Halsey's. I went back to halopedia. I haven't read evolutions or the new series, but Cortana is definitely human technology based. The reason she was on Reach was to study the artifact, but because bungie made a canon contradiction since chief during the time you spent on reach had Cortana in his head jumping over pelican rockets. The reason Cortana was able to be on Reach was because it was said the "gather and research" part of her was on Reach studying the artifact and the rest was of her was with chief. Then when you got to Pillar of Autumn she was brought back together as a whole thanks to the player. If you can't pick up any of the books that talk about her creation halopedia is a great resource.

Where are you getting she's a forerunner AI? I know what conversation you're talking about too. It was one of those "Why do you what you do when all is lost?" types. I included the all is lost part because he pretty much almost killed us all. She wasn't doing it for mankind. She was doing it for Master Chief. All of her rampancy reminds me of the contact harvest book when the two AI (the cowboy and the uptight one) fell in love and they like "merged" before their whole system crashed to try to save the planet. Her behavior is what reminds me of those two.

So I go to watch the latest Spartan Ops video and I keep getting an error saying "An error occurred while the film was playing." It didn't do that for the other ones I've previously watched and when I went back to go watch them now the message pops up. I didn't change my tv or xbox settings and when the videos do decide to work they're very blurry and then they'll go high def before the video dies and the error pops up or when I change the video settings for the xbox the error pops up before the video even loads. Diagnosis anyone? *EDIT* Fixed the problem had to go down one display to 1024X768. Video quality still fluctuates, but it's not crashing anymore.

Cortana has yet to finish the fight. Also she did say to chief the majority of her was "down there." In whatever that was it got destroyed so there still is some bit left of her.

If you've played the campaign and have reached the conversation with the Librarian she talks about her and that's where she's referred to as a seed. As in a seed to victory, just like mc.

It's going to feel bad when I beat it on legendary. Everytime I uploaded to anything I felt like I was going to lose her. It was crazy!
