Reach's method of a separate DLC playlist failed because Reach sucked and couldn't sustain a split population. I paid 60$ for a game and the ability to play online. I shouldn't be forced into playing Slayer or buying the other maps when I paid for the base maps and continue to pay for Xbox live to be able to play them online. If I choose not to pay for maps, I shouldn't be restricted in the content I DID pay for.
