    Now that were reaching Halo 2 territory I think it's time for me to talk again. I don't think that was the extent of his development in Halo 2 Caboose. The whole game developed around him. The Covenant Schism was a big event. And I don't think he just wanted to kill Brutes at that moment. It was uneasy between the 2 races for a loooong time. The straw that broke the camels back was when the Prophets chose the Brutes over the Elites, and then big ol tartar sauce pushed him down a long whole.

    You honestly can't say that. Their friendship is 100% canon. Mostly because Arbiter said "I even called him...friend." That one statement blows yours out of the water.

    In Halo 5, IF you fight side by side with the Arbiter and his elites as Locke, you will most likely get a good side by side comparison of these two races of Elites. Which I think will be a pretty cool thing to see. If you really don't like the way these new Elites look, then you can kill them with the Elites of your old favorable classic design! It would feel like a fight between two different generations.
