      Vitamin Pwn

You,You work all night(all night) And when you work you don't feel all right

  2. *Looks at topic* *Scans carefully* *Sees no flat out denial or confirmation...* *Reads "Halo 2 is a good game"* *......* *....Goes back to waiting for E3 with high hopes*
  3. My Favorite Is Halo. So many random funny things could happen on the drive out of there. It has the challenging beginning of the level fighting the flood (which to this day the vidmaster brings me nightmares) . Then you can drive out on a mongoose, warthog, ghost, or even a brute chopper. Me and my friends made a game for Halo 3 that started on this level. The games rules are simple: Don't die by Infection Forms (Baby Flood as we call them). We've made it a taboo thing ever since our friend died by them 5 times in one night. I had never laughed so much in my life. Sometimes we'd also get out and fight each other in warthog wars and wait until the towers would fall and we would fly out the map, or we'd get out and walk along the edges of the level and find snow walls that weren't supposed to be there. We played this level so much it's old now.
  4. Well Halo 4 did have sentinels, the only reason you couldn't get a sentinel beam was they wouldn't explode. It may be safe to assume that every Halo game where you're on an installation or forerunner built planet there would be sentinels. It's if 343 wants it in the game that comes down to it being in the game. Now Brute weapons are another story. Halo: Escalation has brutes playing a role but I only have the first comic of the series so far. If the brutes aren't in Halo 5, (which seems likely but you never know) their weapons should not be included. (Except for The Gravity Hammer, You always need the gravity hammer. )
  5. Original Xbox: Halo: CE Xbox 360: Halo wars and Left 4 Dead. I was looking for Halo 3 and saw the first thing that looked like Halo without even thinking what the title was. That made me hate Halo wars for a while until I actually played the game for more than five minutes. Xbox One: Ryse: Son of Rome, NBA 2K14, and Battlefield 4. I still find myself playing 360 more because there is no Halo on the Xbox one yet. And now every console is stacked on each other on my desk.
  6. So the company who saved the North American side of the video game industry with the NES is falling... This is very sad news, as Nintendo was always there when I needed to play a game in the late 90s and early 2000s. They gave us the N64 which was one of the best consoles of all time. Nintendo, it's so hard to say goodbye...
  7. Welp... as I said before, now my vote goes to BZ1. The apprentice becomes the master.
  8. A couple of weeks ago I made a remake of a old Halo 3 Commercial in gmod. The commercial was called: "Believe" I'll show you mine first, then the original... Mine: Here's the original from 2007: I tried to be as true to the original as possible, but with Garry's mod some things must be altered. I made this because I thought it would go good with the mercenaries of tf2 vs. the robots, compared to humanity fighting the covenant. The parallel is made when you see the TF2 characters fighting for their very lives against a seemingly endless foe, the same way we fought the covenant...
  9. and then this happened... Yeah I know, the sacrifice for Luke. You both have your enemies... If it wasn't Jinn then I would have picked you BZ1 There are literally zero gifs of your death
  10. I nominate Qui-Gon Jinn... ...hopefully Darth Maul won't come out of hiding and assassinate him if he wins....
  11. 343 Industries Hires Professional Halo Player Eric Hewitt. "Hewitt, aka "GH057ayame", has joined the studio at a yet to be revealed capacity. Hewitt previously competed in professional gaming events with Team Carbon." "Though Hewitt has never worked on the Halo franchise in an official sense, his credentials include assisting the Halo 4 Global Championship and helping create the settings for Halo 4's official competitive playlist." (he made Team Throwdown) Full Article here: http://www.mcvuk.com/index.php/news/read343-industries-hires-professional-halo-player/ (near the bottom of the page) Was this move made to help give Halo (insert name here) a classic type of MP, or only to help with the overall multiplayer? Here's a video of his team playing MLG Halo 2 back in the day:
  12. Eurogamer has come out with an article this morning that states that Microsoft has "No plans for a Halo movie" Full article found here: http://eurogamer.net/articles/2014-01-14-Microsoft-no-plans-for-a-halo-movie It even mentions the rumors this whole thing is based upon.
  13. Saddest moment has to go to Halo 4s ending for me, but the second has to be the legendary ending of Halo 3 "I'll miss you..." "Wake me... When you need me" *Pans out and then fades to black* Those two lines signified the end of an era...
  14. Halo 5... Maybe KH3 or Star Wars Battlefront but I've not decided if I will or not. Most certainly would get Left 4 Dead 3 the very moment it was released. The Left 4 dead series is about my third favorite video game series of all time. The only game I've ever gotten day one was Halo 4, midnight release.
  15. "It is" five minutes later "It isn't" Could they just tell me what it's called? Why such a hissy fit over telling us the true name?
  16. Most Forerunners would go through mutations that would follow their certain rate or caste system. This could make different classes of forerunners look very different from one another. The Didact has 6 fingers, while The Librarian has 5. The reason for this is because Didact was a Warrior-Servant, and The Librarian was a Life Worker, and their separate class called for separate mutations. The mutations would be anything from increased height, to an extra thumb. However, I am unaware of what classes get the extra thumb besides warrior-servant. The six handed terminals could have been reserved for six fingered classes only. Although that makes me wonder, how did the humans get in the library and beyond in Halo 2, if they only had 5 fingers? I guess the doors were just magically opening because they were human. There are more holes in this than Swiss cheese. Fingers list Humans- 5 (hopefully obvious) Sanghelli- 4 (two fingers and two thumbs) Forerunners- 5 or 6 (and could vary even farther than that)
  17. AC4- I know I shouldn't judge one game based on another, but AC3 turned me away from that franchise. CoD multiplayer- a myriad of reasons stated above (I do love zombies in the first black ops and WaW though) Mass Effect- I played the 2nd one for about 4 hours, just couldn't really get into it.
  18. I just started reading the fall of reach book and here's a line that proves translators existed at some point in the Halo universe (unless that book's non-canon now) Taken from the first page of the prologue: (talking about grunts) "They reminded Chief of biped dogs, not only in appearance, but because their speech- even with the new translation software- was an odd combination of high-pitched squeaks, guttural barks, and growls" This was from the battle of Jericho Vll, which was 17 years before Master Chief was in a game, so maybe things could have happened over the years to the translation software, or maybe it was new armor. I don't know, but I found this thread interesting after I just read something about translation software earlier today.
  19. I've been wanting these scattered Spartan II's to reunite for awhile now, but I am getting the strange vibe that if they show up in Halo 5 it will be in halfway into the campaign, but if they don't show up in that game I feel as if they won't be in Halo 6 either. what I want to know is, how big will their role be if they show up?
  20. I think it would be unlikely to see the mark IV armor in multiplayer, but it could be possible. I also agree that it looks better then Mark V. I think it would be more possible to see it in the campaign of a prequel or maybe even the multiplayer of a prequel, but prequel games aren't even on the table right now (at least I hope they're not). I just haven't seen many people asking for a mark IV set for multiplayer, I believe that's why we probably won't see it in future Halo Titles. Still would be cool to get one though.
  21. You know if this does come to pass it will helpful, but this whole situation doesn't feel right. I never thought in a million years Halo fans would hope to see another Halo installment fail for the benefit of another, even if it was Halo 4. But what must be done must be done, I'm all in for anything that makes Halo great again, after Halo 4s downfall it's all I've ever wanted to see (I still do like Halo 4 even with its flaws). Sacrifices must be made for the great or good of this franchise. 343 may have to take some hard hits to the noggin to understand, and this sure as hell could be one of them. Just a sad day, but also a good day because it'll be nice to see Halo 3 with a little more bulk in it's population. *sigh* if only I had a time machine and some money for a flight to Seattle with a rental car to drive to Kirkland...
  22. "when we break $900 million in sales for Halo 5..." I would give anything to see this again: I'm Dreaming again...
  23. This is true, however, at the time John still thought her chances of being alive were good. So he had hope. After watching her disappear in Halo 4 that hope suddenly vanished along with her. It's not being with her or not, it's him knowing now there is (most likely) no chance to save her.
  24. 7. Getting your pinkie toe ran over by a warthog and dying immediately (Halo:CE)
