i think a new "forge world" is a wonderful idea.. those who dont want a forge world i think mostly play multiplayer or just online or arent too good at designing but to those who are YOU DESERVE A FORGE WORLD reach's forge world as far as i know belongs to bungie (the rights anyway) so i dont think they can bring it back but theres no reason to not make a whole new one. maybe ICE WORLD this time i always wanted to see forge world in winter but i think it would be fantastic to have another titanic map to play and have fun on, thats the point of games after all you know... some stages that featured the entire map were outlandish but very very very very fun... most of them were races or even huge environment puzzles... i proclaim this: 343, if you say you want to have your players have fun... why did you deny them one of the greatest creations that bungie ever generated for the people... those "large" stages to forge on in halo 4 are savagely limiting and those who love forge world know what im talking about. the point is that no not all of the map was used but the scenery was beutiful and spectacular. you could make maps on the water high in the air in a cave on a plain or cliff on an island or even next to a waterfall IT WAS GORGEOUS and these stages in halo 4 are well, tiring. how do you expect to see 'creations' when these stages seem to encourage specific building scenarios... and this is just me here but i cant stay in these stages long before i get visually tired and sick of the colors of them with that i have to quit forging when in reach i could forge for six hours at a time, the exception to the color thing is ravine which ironicaly is the smallest of the forge maps. lol i even laugh now cuase sometimes when me and my brother would forge we would make short movies, just the two of us while generating what we need and making the voices and stuff, it was so much fun... i guess that could still be done but the areas are very small by comparison and wont allow for very many 'locations.' allowing players to build as big or small without expectations or limitations is one of the greatest joys i have ever recieved so please please 343i, keep a great idea going. let those forge fanatics (myself included) go wild and crazy and amazing with their ideas sorry the post is soooooooo long :>

yes! that is desidedly noticable in fact however the descriptions reads "...extend the long-term durability of your vehicle..." and thats where i dont see a lick uh difference

i concur, make everything offline and multi-player capable... i remember the good old days when i could play with three other friends in bloodgulch and not worry about linkage or lag or anything... im just really disapointed in all these money-hungry companies out there now... with 343 and microsoft at the top of the list

i believe the thing here is that halo 4 shouldnt have been what it is.... bungie abandoned the project and they must have had their reasons but the only reason 343 kept the halo name is because they wanted the sales... look at resident evil-- back when they were making re4 they vastly changed the engine and decided insted to make an entirely different game (take note here that resident evil is hugely famous and their new game was the first of a kind so sink of swim). and against all odds they made a widely popular game called devil may cry... 343 just didnt want to take the risk, they wanted the cash and fame... fans dont want halo to change but to grow and people new to 343 or bungie or halo just dont care its doesnt matter that ff was repetitive or not, thats not the issue, the issue it that someone that doesnt shell out cash every month cannot do anything but play campaign in halo and forge. this is what games used to be ten years ago. you buy it, it has a story, you put it down and stop.. thats what they were but today especially for the halo franchise its about many game modes and options and that may be true for people who are paying for gold but not one but true for those who are not... fair? id say no. spartan ops is installed in the game itself anyway... capcoms dragons dogma tryed to get away with something similar when they tryed to make people purchase codes to unlock in game content that was already in the game to begin with... when they did that they were recieved with very bad criticisms even though dragons dogma was widely successful they anounced that the next game would not require the same thing... all in all if people start to disregard the actions that companies like 343 are making where to get a full experience out of a game youll end up paying six times what the video game is worth more and more companies will begin to do the same and eventually the gaming industrie will be unafordable... and those who dont mind shelling out hundreds of dollars on one game who defend these companies are only helping the process along. so i ask you this... if all we ever see of 343 and halo from now on is increased pricess on in game content higher prices on gold more codes that need to be purchased for the full experience and a whole lot less offline options... will you still be satisfied with them? i will most certanly not be. this isnt an mmo, its an fps. they need to remember to treat it like one or make a different game altogether

soo... ive been using the wheelman mod that is supposed to increase the long term durability of your vehicle hoping that i could squeeze precious seconds from a dogfight to get the kill... but, it sucks, i dont feel a lick of difference, nothings changed... maybe i just suck but its just the same as before: sometimes they win, sometimes i win but overall my vehicle doesnt last any longer than it ever has before. please fix it 343

to be perfectly honest... im still dissapointed and not surprised... spartan ops, or rather 343 is still forcing people to buy gold and play online... im not surprised becasue they found a way to meet the demands of the players in an easy way which doesnt really meet the demants of the players i still cannot play with my brothers... i still cannot play offline... so whats fixed? nothing... like i said, im not surprised and still dissapointed. i expected more from the developers of one of the greatest games in history

i dont know if this is consistent with eveyone but evey server i try to connect to keeps going from bad to worse. i wish 343 would do SOMETHING

actually there are quite a few that were "retired" from active duty after they failed to successfully aquire their augmentations (this is just from the books) i can see one of them training further spartans since alot of them were transfered to inteligence. .. sadly i dont know anything about the spartan IIIs so im speculating a bit lupsided is right btw... (again in the books) it is stated a few times that they arent particularly sexual in any way. they are warriors and were bred and raised that way. they see the rest of humanity as a beings to protect. the spartan IIs would see any kind of emotional swelling as an obstruction and a liability even for each other. especially for each other. they are family, every one of them and would never do anything to compromise each other even something as simple as feeling

SPOILERS WARNING SO READ WITH CARE i honestly think it would be fantastic if master chief had some of his old family join him in the following games seeing as how cortana is no longer around (as far as chief knows) and in my opinion the spartan IVs are a joke... besides, john has no connection to them really anyway hell they might even consider a reunion with the arbiter ("long time no see" "i thought you were dead") to make a john, fred, kelly, and arbiter team... idk but in either case id love to see fred and kelly. john did find a spartan in cryo after the events of 'instalation 04'. since the books are very close to the game as far as story goes i dont see how they can put linda in since she is no longer with us... but for the record she is my favorite spartan (the sniper) all in all i think it would be a great idea. not only for master chiefs 'humanity' but for the fans as well... it would be astounding and a great thing to see a select few saprtan IIs show the so-called spartan IVs what it really means to be a SPARTAN

the exact same thing happened to me on halo:reach... i never thought id see this again. there was nothing i could do. i called everywhere but they all told me it had something to do with my data and not theirs so i had to do the campaign all over again. im so sorry you have to deal with that... oddly enough im not doing the campaign on legendary untill theres a challenge for it in halo 4

i cant say for certain if there is no voice over option for your spartan in spartan ops cause ive heard many people saying they dont have any audio coming from their spartan if the case is that there isnt any voice options i think it would be a nice addition, even if it is just the generic male/female voices. i liked having cortana feed me info and intell, so to speak, while i was doing firefight, kinda like my own personal ai just saying anywho if theres anyone else out there who thinks this would be nice to have back please shout... not literally

as far as i know spartan ops isnt available to play localy offline, which further forces people to pay for live if they dont want to do the missions all by themselves like me, its fun to play with friends and i want to play with my brothers who love halo but despise microsoft so they dont have xboxes which also means i cannot play halo 4 with them but the campaign... what i want is to be able to play spartan ops in couch co-op. thats what i want. i payed for what i thought would be an improvement to reach and apparently its a complete let-down to thousands of fans. if they left in FF i would be less disturbed but the fact is that its been replased by something with a direct intention to make money and not make fans happy. its disturbing. my brothers are always telling me "sony playstation is better" ...im almost completely convinced by them now that my favorite xbox game is seemingly going down the tubes. admitedly the halo franchise is the biggest if not only reason for me rigedly sticking with the microsoft xbox ps. i have been asking around and no one has told me if theres a forum with a significant amount of spartan-ops-couch-co-op-supporters so here i am going solo pps. in case theres confusion, i mean couch co-op local play be it system link or split screen (both)

there is certainly no lack of things to complain about perhaps its just me but all three of the forge maps are suffocating, forge world was beautiful and i know i know i shouldnt expect glamor in a firefight but it was a gorgeous map with wonderfull scenery and wide open-feeling space, maybe im just asking for too much but i not only enjoyed forging in reach because of the capabilities but the scenery and majesty of it i guess thats not the point tho huh? oh well, if others are happy then im the one thats wrong

personaly i think the thruster pack in halo 4 multiplayer is horrible... that being said i dont really mind the third person view i actually like it, i always felt it was weird to do all those flips and rolls in halo reach and yet you always maintain your frontal view, it felt off and wrong to the action taken maybe the current edition is well suited against newbies and people who cant really aim all that great but i just started using it recently and i mistakenly thought to use it to cover great ground and quickly realized it was useless at that so i began using it as a dodging tool and against experienced players it is simply useless... it can only be used once before it needs to be recharged and the kicker is: i spawned and decided to run ahead of my team mates to get to the enemy first so i used the thruster just after i began sprinting and as i used it i noticed a team mate dart ahead of me as if i was slowed down or something... uterly useless if some people say it is usefull, fine i will believe you after all i cant possibly be adept at everything i halo 4 but if it would accomodate what it is actually designed to do: maybe a press will dodge and behave like it does now so those who are satisfied now wont loose anything and it only uses half of the charge that way it can be used twice or you can hold the button and use all of the charge to actually dash and cover some ground maybe they dont care at all and are pretty happy the way everything is but i can hope right?

actually its simple... those dogs and the knights keep overruning me and i dont have time to breathe, i never tryed bypassing them tho, always thought they'd just catch up and kill me. i wont be able to do that on the narrow stretches tho thanks ill keep trying, i know it may just be a game but... me and my brothers grew up with it, its a big part of our lives... even tho they favor the ps3 lol

is it just me??? i dont know whats wrong, im pretty good and i can hold my own very well in multiplayer and somehow i cant even get by the third area in the third campaign stage on heroic. is it just me? am i unworthy? i beat all the other games on legendary why cant i do this one on heroic? someone please tell me honestly if it is just me. i have already ben far too disappointed in microsoft's influence on 343 and halo and 343 industries itself and halo 4 in general and now it seems im not even adept as i thought i was, you may say this isnt a big deal and to just do it on easier levels but... i feel like i should give up on halo altogether. its beyond me now, i always played to have fun and now its stressful. just tell me if i no longer have what it takes to play HALO any longer if i cant even get through the third campaign stage on heroic...

not to sound like a lemming but i completely agree with all mentioned... except for the pelican thing... i dont see what a massive transport vehicle will be of use in multiplayer game but all the same, more is better. i am a forge builder and i agree the stages are meek at absolute best, granted my strengths are creating close-quarter maps but i had always wanted too see forge world in winter and i really enjoyed the space and scenery of forge world and another map to follow the new, would-be, tradition would have been a glorious triumph. i think they got lazy and took too much pride in their little gimiks (spelling error) like magnets and duplication. admitedly those things are amazing adds but if it was between that and another world to mass forge on i will gladly take the world. i think forgers would agree, they will sacrifice a good brush for a great canvas

i think the point here is theyre not as attractive as they could be for a spartan. im a girl and i always appreciate when a woman can be a badass warrior like the men and still be sexy, i think female gamers can agree with me on this. one of the reasons females were established in video games at all was for their appeal after all. im not saying i condone that mindset but just saying. i agree they should be fitted with more "assets" (of course something like the doa franchise is just simply abusive) then the female gamers can feel like females and not just skinny men and men well... they get something out of it too

im a night owl and i am very upset that lately it seems that during the night all the online modes suffer from severe lag issues... why? supposedly everything multiplayer was revamped to be faster and i see that in selecting teams and starting matches but evey single game i try to play is lagging like crazy. i can play like that but why the hell should i have to?
