Slow the DMRs rate of fire just slightly. Problem solved.

Id help you with the respawn thing but this is my first real experience with forge and hastily put the spawns on my own map and didnt test them much. Im not sure what spawn zones/weak/anti are...

Even if Halo was taken down tomorrow and never put back online again, I wouldnt go buy a COD game. Id either play only LAN with my friends or go back to single player games.

Not saying I agree or disagree. What I am saying is that even if it had stayed 100% true to its roots (which I wish it had!), would the pop. numbers really be much higher? Id love for it to be more like H2/3 but even if it were, neither me nor any of my friends would be on any more often than we currently are.

Halo just isnt king anymore (sad face). The casuals have come in and made COD king with its "no need to practice, pat on the back, everybody is a winner!" gameplay. Those of us that enjoy Halo for what it is/was are in the minority now. That and look at who plays Halo. At least as far as the people I know IRL, most of my Halo playing friends are around my age and older. 21-30. College, Work, and family cut into play time. I like the game, I really do. But I have other things I like to do and cant be on at all times. Most of the people that I know who play COD are younger. Teens-20. Other than school during the day and a part time job, most have nothing but time on their grubby little hands to play that mindless garbage.

Im sure many other people have already done this but I have just finished my lockout remake. Actually it is more of a remake of Eclipse, Bungies forge remake of Lockout from Reach. I pretty much copy and pasted it all with some concessions made due to not all the pieces being exactly the same size as they were in Reach's forge. For now, there are only initial spawns for Red and blue teams but feel free to change whatever you want. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Id be Happy if they had just updated 3s graphics, released a bunch of free map packs and FORCED everyone to keep playing it.

This is why I said story wise. As far as lore goes, plasma weaponry is boss as hell. Gameplay =/= story.

Prometheans are robotic warrior servants of the Forerunners... So why do they use magazine fed, ballistic like (as much as hardlight can be) weaponry while the covenant use essentially left over Forerunner plasma weaponry? No. Just, no. The only thing that needs done at all is for the bloom to be fixed. While I love using the DMR, its bloom is nearly non-existant. Back in Reach ,I actually had to pace myself when firing across hemorrage, lest I miss that critical headshot and my prey get away. Now I dont bother pacing as the bloom seems to be visual only. Same with the magnum. Making the DMR's bloom grow out much larger and faster but with faster reset (much like the magnum in Reach) would fix the cross mapping woes and general dominance problems people seem to have.

Yes, you are correct. Smaller teams make each players individual contribution much more important.

They should just do what they did in 3. When the new maps get moved from the DLC playlist to normal lists, people who dont buy them cant play. Easy as that.

Well its not just them. ODSTs firefight, Reaches Firefight and Campaign all did the same thing despite MM working fine.

I agree. Tho thats basically what 4s are, ODSTs with better armour. Im hoping to see Chief put a whoopin on a 4 at some point in the future games.

Id agree with this. Its likely that since 4's are made from consenting adults, it makes sense to only use the best and brightest. It would make sense to make ODSTs into 4's. Hence, the lack of ODSTs.

Im fine with it being on waypoint. I dont care if other people can see my lvl. I will set a goal for myself and try my hardest to reach said goal.
