Annoying Challenge POP UP after every kill. is there a way to turn off.

50 inch screen har har. it doesnt make it any less annoying. -
In spartan ops every time you get a kill a gigantic box pops up and alerts you another kill has taken place for a challenge. this is getting very annoying taking up a quarter of the screen with info I could look at after I beat the level. I dont see any options to turn it off......
