I understand where you're coming from but to I don't think it would make her sacrifice in vein or would prevent Chief becoming human. What if much needed to be sacrificed for her return? Chief finds his human side on an epic adventure where he then has a decision to make. Obviously that's not the only way but I think it's equally 'badly informed' of you to say her sacrifice was in vein if she returns as it is to not give the game a chance if she doesn't return. I also think your Anakin comparison is very wrong. It's completely different circumstances, other than there being two trilogies there are no similarities. I mean the trilogies were even made in a different order for goodnesssake.

I don't see how... If done properly, Chief finding her could make the Halo 4 campaign mean even more to us. That's the issue though, if they get it wrong then they'll be screwed. -

Considering the Xbox One has had such a negative reception so far, especially when you compare it to the PS4? Do you think it's possible if the Xbox One sales are terrible even after the release of Halo 5 that MS might realise their mistake and release some of their exclusives onto the PC so they at least get some money from them?

This trilogy is going to about the relationship of Cortana and Chief... I hardly think they've killed her off.

To me it sounds like trolling... Why would he be on a Halo forum if he doesn't like Xbox, which was implied as he said the next Xbox would have the RROD despite the fact the slim doesn't get it.

That's based on the limits of our current technology and knowledge. It's very possible that we will learn how to digitally interact with a nervous system and brain, we just can't now or the near future. Just bare in mind Halo is set 500 years into the future and now involves a race that has the technology to turn humans to digital information.

Well the new Xbox is supposedly going to have 8GB ram (16x more than the 360), Quad core CPU (nothing else about it has been 'leaked'), a much more powerful GPU so I wouldn't say it's impossible for something similar to be made in the future . I really hope they do as well!! However if they did they'd either have to put loading screens between different sections or just allow your console to only render the section around you.

I'm pretty sure they won't because now they've begun the new trilogy I think most people would want them to focus on Halo 5 and 6 as opposed to remaking earlier games.

They won't release if for the 360 and the new console because the new console is supposed to be so much more powerful and it would be like making two games for them. Also MS would want them to make it for the 720 to boost sales, I know many who will only buy the 720 when Halo 5 comes out. Also has anyone noticed all the DLC is being released early (December to April?), I think that's right. Anyway doesn't that seem odd to anyone, you'd of thought they'd drag it out a bit until the next game?

I disagree, the new Xbox is expected next year and I doubt they'll make the remake (if at all) before Halo 5.

You get the armour when you get the commendation for completing it on legendary, not the achievement. So check commendations for which one you need to do again.

Well I'd say with some certainty that if they were going to release it next year they'd of put something into developing it before even the release of Halo 4... And really? I though they've done a fantastic job with Halo 4, but that's a whole other discussion

I know this shouldn't really be in the Halo 4 section but there isn't really a proper section for this so here'll do . Quite simply does anyone else think Halo 5 will be released along side the Xbox '720' in 2013. It seems logical to me anyway as MS will obviously want Halo to be released alongside their new console because I for one would by it if Halo came with it. And it's pretty much common knowledge the new Xbox is coming our next year so does anyone else think that, that means Halo 5 will have a 2013 release date?

The same happened to me with infinity cause it disconnected me from the servers midway through, so just hope that doesn't happen again and when you can be bothered replay it.

A tad repetitive, but it's cause the knights are so hard to kill so you end up finding a technique and just continuing to use it and as far as the crawlers go, well it makes no sense to kill them with anything but a headshot. Also about the legendary thing, it's definitely because I'm more cautious, although I'm finding it easier to a certain extent, it's taking me twice as long. I'm sorry if it came across the wrong way, but I wasn't looking for an argument just starting a thread for people who really enjoyed the game because as far as I can see there are more negative ones, though most with many positive replies about the game. And I think I said a fair amount to support my view other than what I put in the title... But whatever.

I can see where you're coming from on the secondary character development bit. However I think they're trying to use Forward Unto Dawn and Spartan Ops to build up some characters more and I suspect characters such as Lasky and Palmer will have a much large role in the coming games.

Sorry, I just got fed up reading all the negatively titled threads so I'm starting a good one... Best parts about halo 4 Campaign -The Campaign was so in depth and detailed and just generally awesome -It has been by far the best game I've ever played at getting by emotions involved and yes by the end I was in tears -The new race of enemies put me out of my comfort zone as I was getting to learn the best ways at killing the Forerunners, this was particularly noticeable on my second play through on legendary, which surprisingly I am finding easier than when I first played Heroic. -The new weapons were very nicely done and apart from the incineration canon none of them are too overpowered , despite this though they still got across through the weapons how much more advanced the forerunners are. -The development of Chief's and Cortana's characters was incredible and really made you even more attached to them -I like the new supporting characters - mainly Lasky and Palmer Multiplayer -Despite complaints from some about no respawn time etc, I personally thinks it just adds to the madness that is a Halo fight -I think all the maps are brilliantly designed so there is virtually no camping what so ever -I like having custom classes, it allows people to specialise their gameplay but it doesn't give new players too much of a disadvantage as the weapons and abilities aren't too powerful -Spartan Ops is just a genius alternative to firefight and adds more story to the game -I think the player cards as opposed to just names is a very nice touch along with changing infection to flood and not allowing people to change their vote - stops people voting with the majority, happened all the time on Reach Improvements for Halo 5 -BRING BACK CORTANA... my preference anyway -Make it ASAP.

Okay this is just another theory about Cortana's survival, however this time related to Spartan Ops. In the campaign it seems unlikely that the librarian, who had made such accurate predictions regarding the outcome of the Chief would let Cortana "die". So similar to other theories it's very possible that the librarian either copied her when they met, or made some modification that would save her. There are many modifications she could have made, but if you notice when Cortana's terminal is destroyed, a similar data field. To that knights etc leave when killed. So maybe this data field was then uploaded to some forerunner digital world and that's were Cortana is now. You may now be wondering how this links to Spartan Ops, well so far those who have played through them will have noticed that many humans have been sucked into what could easily be a 'digital world'. Now if then look at the Halo 4 achievements, there are two back to back achievements for Episode 4 - Chapter 5 and Episode 5 -chapter 1. Now this is only a couple of weeks away so it would be early, but maybe there'll be further clues there?
