Well I bought the entire Xbox bundle excited to play this game. Every game at first takes some time to get better so this isn't a rant how DMRS are OP, or the playlists. It's more of the social side. What happened to being able to talk in lobbies, or when near someone else in a "social" play lists? I understand the side of getting people to stop using abusing language etc, but to me it has always been a side of Halo. You always have Xbox settings, or just joining a live party to stop all that if you don't like it or just muting someone. I already miss all the shenanigans in the lobbies or someone getting killed and crying on the mic (call it messed up but it is funny). Instead of giving people those options it's like the are just picked for us stripped away. I am glad to hear ranks are being added in and all the other play lists eventually I am okay with waiting.
I will add in my own opinion on the EXP cap I see how it can be a good thing, but at the same time I played for about 6 hours and capped out not trying to get any commendations. For me If I play 10+ hours legit there is no reason I should be punished for it or capped. I see how it stops people (well not really), I have already seen people that are level 40+ and some 50s just playing offline and boosting for it, but yet there is no ban on them. Which brings me to the point that I was playing Big Team Battle, and I got Temporarily EXP banned after just playing for about 10+ hours in one day. I don't know why but it is bothersome playing the first couple of days all day to hit the cap than today not being able to, and not knowing how long the ban is that I received, so instead of being able to play and level up some today everyone is just catching up. Call me an elitist but there is a reason I played all those hours staying ahead or not while everyone catches up which sucks, was just trying to show some dedication.
Hopefully a 343 member will see this, or another thread and give some explanation on how long the ban is at least, all I can do is just randomly check every now and than. I just want to get my banned relieved for I see no reason why I got one, and just see the social side of Halo again, but rather than that I have had my fun so far.
