The Official What You Do and Do Not want in Halo 5 Thread
LanceLercher replied to SatanicBagels's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
Here are my wishes for Halo 5. Another Forerunner object that acts like the composer or somehow the return of the composer. So many things can be done with this. If the Prometheans are composed humans that have been manipulated, then what would it look like to have composed grunts, jackals, squirmishers, elites, brutes, prophets, hunters, flood, or forerunners? This could open up the possibility for so many new enemies, or possibly allies. A new species that has been accepted into the covenant. It would be pretty cool to see a new face. I know the Prometheans are new, but I kinda want a new covenant enemy that is like a brute or elite, because they are kinda similar to humans, and they are a lot tougher. Be able to control characters other than Spartans. This wouldn't be that hard to do in multiplayer or maybe just customs, I mean they did it in Reach, and that was awesome. I want to be able to control a Spartan, ODST, Elite, Forerunner, Flood (that doesn't have to just have a sword), new humanoid shaped Hunter, or a new species that emerges. These other characters need to have full customization like Spartans do though. The Elites, humanoid hunters, and Forerunners could have completely unique armors that could be changed up, and pieced together, and these could be even more unique than the Spartan and ODST ones. The Flood could be a custom skinned flood version of the other characters that you already customized. Like I said before, I want another new character that is similar in shape and size to humans, elites, or forerunners so that this could happen. What's up with Hunters? These are absolutely awesome covenant creatures that just happen to be a bunch of worms? I want to know if this is the only form that they come in, or whether they can be molded to fit other needs. If so, could they be molded to look similar in shape to humans, and then just fitted with custom armor? What sort of things allowed these worms to be sophisticated enough to fight in wars? How bout elaborating on all of the covenant species a little more in the game and not just books. The return of the Flood in the end scenes of Halo 5. The series is after all called "Halo," so I want the Halos to be explored more. In the process of discovering the halos more, I want to see the flood be released again. Maybe the flood could be released in an attempt to combat against the Prometheans. If so, then maybe if Master Chief releases them, then he knows the cure for the flood, or he knows how to control them after talking to a long lost precursor. I want to be able to teleport like the Promethean Knights do. That would be an awesome ability, and would be cool as maybe a choice between running or teleporting. I want to see the return of Scorpions; Falcons; Banshees; Ghosts; Mantises; Gauss, Normal, Rocket, and Transport Warthogs; Mongooses; Wraiths; Choppers; Prowlers; Hornets; Spectres; and Revanants. All of these vehicles have their own perks and faults, and none of them should be excluded from games. One more new covenant vehicle and some Forerunner vehicles. I want the covenant vehicle to be completely unique. I want it to be brighter green than UNSC vehicles and silver, because it was made by Hunters, yet it fits all other races. It would be cool if it had active camo when it is being controlled, plus some other cool feature. I want a Forerunner type of vehicle that is a one person motorcycle that goes really fast and has a forward facing turret that only move up and down with the camera in one model, and a modified Scattershot on the other model that also only moves up and down. I want a Forerunner Tank of some sort that instead of having a second person operate the turret, an AI inside the vehicle operates two side mounted turrets, and a Flying Forerunner vehicle. I want a Forerunner vehicle that seats 4 and has a small passenger vehicle attached to it that can be deployed for 5 seconds. The vehicle has a pulse cannon on it that shoots pulse waves like a Railgun, but kills with two hits instead of one and is operated by one of the passengers. The Passenger vehicle seats 2. One of the people in the passenger vehicle shoots from their weapon, until the vehicle is deployed, at which time they become a driver. The other person in the passenger vehicle operates a Forerunner type of turret. These are just ideas for vehicles that I think would be Boss! Any cool Forerunner vehicles would be fine with me. The return of all of the Covenant except those flying things. I want to fight the Brutes, Prophets, some Hunters, some Grunts, Jackals, and Skirmishers. I want to be aligned with some grunts, elites, and some hunters. The return of all of the armor abilities. This doesn't mean that people have to complain about people being really cheap by using armor lock all the time, because 343 could just keep some abilities out of matchmaking. I just want to be able to forge and have custom games with any of the armor abilities. Here's more of my Forge and Custom Game wants for Halo 5: 1. Bring back custom power-ups. The new Trait zones are awesome, and I love how you can have many different types of trait zones that can be placed; however, these trait zones are limited to one area of the map, their customizations aren’t fully customizable, and they apply to everybody. I feel that the re-implementation of custom power-ups would exponentially increase the number of cool gametypes that could be made. There are time limits on them, and it allows players flexibility all over the map on what sort of customizations could be made. 2. Bring back the option of changing the color of Mongooses or even other vehicles. I like the new color pallets of so many of the items in the new forge environments, but I feel like 343 did the same thing that Bungie did: they put too many pieces with the same color. In Halo Reach it was gray, and in Halo 4 it is dark green. The most exciting thing about riding a Mongoose in Reach was knowing that I had my own Blue mongoose compared to everyone else's gray or red mongoose. 3. Bring back the Covenant Forge items. Now don't get me wrong, the UNSC items that replaced all of the Covenant ones look amazing, but there isn't as much diversity without the Covenant ones. The plasma battery was one of my favorite forge items because it had pulsating and glowing parts that made amazing aesthetic effects. Even when the plasma battery blew up, it had an awesome looking explosion. The data dispersion effect of the new extraction crates is pretty sweet, but I think the plasma battery explosion would be nice to have too. Forging with the portable shield was also really helpful in custom games. It allowed people to create weapon and vehicle dispensers that could be accessed by everybody. The extraction crates and dominion shields are nice for this too, but they can be too bulky. Also, the base of the portable shield looked really cool and worked nice in aesthetic forging. 4. Bring back the ability to forge in water or other liquids. There were quite a few maps that were made in Halo Reach that used water as a central theme, game mechanic, or part of the aesthetics of the map. 5. Give us more options for gametypes. It's insanely frustrating trying to create the perfect gametype when very simple options are missing from the customization options. Are you kidding me 343?! I can't even change the look of my Spartan in Flood mode, or make it a classic version of infection. The new options for gametypes are great improvements, but that doesn't mean that the old options should be thrown out. 6. Give us all of our old gametypes back plus new ones. You don’t have to get rid of Gametypes just because. I want to be able to create any type of experience that I please when I create a gametype. I really like extraction and Dominion, along with Regicide, but like always, I want more options. 7. Forgeable NPCs. It would be awesome to fight alongside UNSC, Flood, Prometheans, or Covenant against the opposing team. You could customize their traits just like you can your own, but you can also choose their intelligence level. It would be so awesome to at least be able to place up to 16 characters (probably 8 for each team). 8. Weather effects and natural effects. It would be awesome to have sandstorms, rain, tornadoes, lightning, fog or mist, earthquakes, etc. These things could randomize some of the outcomes in custom games because out of nowhere this tornado sweeps you up, or an earthquake shakes you just wrong into a hole. They could just be aesthetic effects if that would be the only plausible option. It would be cool to have different rooms in a custom game that have different weather effects. 9. Forgeable Bodies and Debris. This would help so much with the aesthetics of certain maps that it could actually make them believable. It would also cost a lot less on the budget of people who try to forge debris out of a bunch of different pieces. 10. Vehicle Perks. These would work so that in exchange for a normal quality that you have, you get a perk for the vehicle you are in. For example, Grenades and Dimes--In exchange for being able to carry grenades, vehicles you are in turn and stop a lot quicker (like the saying turns and stops on a dime). These would be awesome, and 343 even implemented one of these in Halo 4 campaign. You could choose one of these perks, or none of them. Here is a list of perks that I think you could get. The perk I mentioned above is included too. A Hope, A Prayer, and Lots of Speed--In exchange for not having shields, vehicles you are in gain 3X speed. One Manned, One Gun Army--In exchange for not being able to carry a secondary weapon, vehicles you are in have 2X fire rate. Running on Empty--In exchange for only being able to carry up to 1/3 of the maximum ammo for any weapon, vehicles you are in don't have a cool-down period on weapons or abilities. Eagle Eye--In exchange for having a HUD, vehicles you are in allow passengers or drivers to see waypoints over medium to short distance enemies. 11. FINE EDITING IN FORGE!!!!!!! There isn't much to say here but that I'm PISSED that this isn't in Halo 4. There is no way on Earth that aesthetic things, or certain mechanics can be just right like they were in Halo Reach, without Fine Editing. This is my number one complaint, and number one want back!! 12. Forge-able Firefight matches. It would be freaking sweet to fight the flood, covenant, promethians, and whatever else on my own map. I'd love making some grunts come storming out of a little room and be able to slaughter them, but out of nowhere some Elites come up behind me and try to ram a sword through my chest, but I pull out a Grav. Hammer and pummel 'em while getting shot at by those grunts I forgot about. Anyways, Forge-able Firefight matches that are fully customizable would be sweet. Even better would be being able to have a match of firefight going on while playing another gametype like slayer or king of the kill. You would have to protect yourself from a foreign enemy while trying to get a flag back to your base or something. If they did that and brought back the ability to play as an Elite or other humanoid character, it would be the toughest, yet most fun gametype ever!! I know this says to bring back a lot of stuff, but this is because 343i took away SOOOO much and barely gave us anything new in return. Alright, now weapon ideas I have. (Forerunner) Paralyzer: Accelerated Hardlight Energy Pulser. It sends out a massive blast of blue hardlight energy that expands horizontally to two times the size at two times the distance beyond short range. It also decreases in damage with the increase in range. It paralyzes foes at medium distance for 1 second, and depletes their shields fully at that distance (unless they have an overshield, in which case it fully depletes the overshield and paralyzes them for 1 second). It insta-kills foes at short range, but has less of a spread (unless they have an overshield, in which case it fully depletes both shields and paralyzes them for 1 second). It has a 1 shot chamber with a 2 second non-automatic reload time and a .3 second charge time before firing like a Railgun or Spartan Laser. It has 4 shots in full. It also leaves an electric trace for 1 second on the ground (unless it was shot at a falling or flying enemy) that depletes shields of anyone that walks over it (maximum 1/4 depletion), keep in mind that the area of this trace increases and decreases with distance from the gun to the ground that it hit. It has an instant hit from the time it fires. It disables vehicles for 1 second at any distance, and at short range it also fully depletes the players' shields inside those vehicles for the normal time. If you shoot it at an enemy at point blank, it might kill you too. (Covenant) Shadow Projector: It is a covenant weapon that was made using newly discovered Forerunnner technology. It shoots a constant dark purple beam at the enemy. It only damages them whenever they fire their weapon. Whatever damage that weapon could have done with every bullet it fires, it also does to the person firing the gun, but only if the bullet was fired whenever the beam was directed at the person firing the bullet or whatever the projectile may be. Wherever the beam is directed at on that person, is also where the damage is done to the person. For example: Someone fires a Sniper Rifle twice (at you or anywhere else) and during that time, they have the shadow projector's beam aimed at their body and then out of nowhere, they drop dead. Now redo that scenario, to where they are are firing the sniper rifle, but it only takes one shot and they drop dead; this is because the shadow projector was aimed at their head instead of their torso this time. In a dual between the Shadow Projector and a DMR, as long as every shot hit from the DMR and the Beam was on the DMR wielder during every shot, both people die at the same time. But in a long distance dual with say, a rocket launcher or incineration cannon, the rocket launcher wielder will die first because the beam shot is instant, whereas the rocket launcher rocket is slow, so the Shadow Projector wielder may be able to dodge the rocket. To balance it, it can only fire for 3.5 consecutive seconds before overheating and it has a pretty small battery. It auto depletes an opponent's shields whenever it is aimed at someone when they throw a grenade. It does the same things to vehicles that it does to players when they fire weapons. (Forerunner) Hacker: This is the Promethian sword that the Knight's hold. It is the hook version of it. You can preform a killing swing at the same distance as melee distance (which is shorter than lunge distance), but if you get behind an opponent, you can hijack them for 5 seconds and hip fire their current weapon until it needs reloading, at which time you will assassinate them, but if you don't use up their clip in that five seconds, you will automatically let them go, unless you assassinate them or throw them at any time during that time. A thrown enemy will kill them if they hit something and have no shields, deplete their shields if they have shields, and do the same thing to another enemy if it hits them instead of a wall or object. If you end up releasing them (or rather, whenever the animation shows them breaking free from you after 5 seconds), it shows them hitting you, which knocks out your shields, or kills you if you have no shields currently. The hijacked person acts as a frontal meat-shield for all but your head. Splash damage and piercing bullets still effect you, as well as side shots and back shots against you. You can move with your meat-shield, but you move at 75% of normal speed going backwards, 50% when going forwards, and 100% when going to the side. You also turn at 75% of your personal normal sensitivity. It has an energy bar like the energy sword, and it only uses it up whenever it hits or hijacks. It takes up 10% if it hits, and 20% if you hijack someone with it, whether you assassinate them afterwords or not. It puts a hard-light collar around their neck is why it takes energy. (Forerunner) Flash Booster: It shoots a superheated ball of hardlight energy that sticks to players and surfaces like a plasma grenade. The ball is extremely bright like a flare and it blinds players in a nearby vicinity. The ball drains the health or shields of anybody within a few feet of it. It will kill a person that it sticks to in 3 seconds (unless they have a full overshield, in which case it will take away the overshield in 2 seconds and then drop off of the player), but if it sticks to you, you can see unless it is stuck to your face. It burns for five seconds after it hits something and then the flare goes away. The radius upon which it blinds people and drains health or shields, decreases with each second. It has a one shot magazine and the same amount of total rounds as the sticky detonator. It also takes the same time as a sticky detonator to reload. It has quite a bit of bullet drop. It will only kill you when it isn't stuck to you, if you stand right next to it from full health and shields for 4 seconds (or a little less if you have lower health and shields). It's area of effect goes down with each passing second. Also, all current and future Forerunner weapons will change color to blue or orange depending on the time of day of the map (blue for night and orange for day). That's all I currently have as far as ideas for new weapons. I’m tired of people wanting to add new weapons to halo that are pretty much the same as other weapons, or a way overpowered version of them. This is why I thought these new weapons would be cool. Don't get me wrong, I love at least one version of every weapon in Halo, it's just that there are so many copies of the same weapon with only a new look and name as a difference between them. I tried to add some drawbacks to these weapons, so they would be balanced, but if you think they aren't, I want to know how I may be able to improve them. -
It's not a more powerful version of the Incineration cannon, the main purpose is that it blinds people. It will kill you if it sticks to you, but if it sticks to you, then it doesn't blind you, and you can still fire until it kills you. Also if you have an overshield, the thing just drops off of you when the overshield is gone. It will only kill you when it isn't stuck to you, if you stand right next to it from full health and shields for 4 freaking seconds (or a little less if you have lower health and shields), and who in their right mind would do that. And it's area of effect goes down with each passing second. You could add abilities to it like I did. Look at my post above that is called Hacker.
-
Actually no, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that that's probably what happened to most of the Forerunners, but they just didn't make themselves mechanical afterwards. This particular Forerunner, The Didact, I don't really know what happened to him, but I think he was teleported to some living Forerunners. I don't know for sure though, so the best explanation would probably be that all but the important Forerunners were transferred to the Domain, while the other members were sealed away somewhere else, and can only be released from the outside or they are too afraid of the possibility of a containment breach from the flood, and the Didact was somehow teleported there and was then put on trial after he fell off the composer. Noone knows what happened to him, but there are very high odds that he is still alive in some form.
-
If that was your only way of living on, wouldn't it make sense to transfer yourself into that rather than just being vaporized forever. Besides, they knew that humans would one day discover the Domain and the rest of their structures and technology, so it would be safe to say that they wouldn't just blow themselves up without some form of living on.
-
Well then what is this so called Domain that has been repeatedly mentioned? We don't know much about it but that it is knowledge from the Precursors. It also looks like all of the dead promethean's data is absorbed into it, so maybe the Forerunners composed themselves and then fired the halos, or just transferred their data into the Domain. Maybe it is like a Forerunner afterlife, or maybe the afterlife for all things in that galaxy of the Halo universe.

Halo 5 should explain the crashed ship.
LanceLercher replied to Robert Greco's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
This easily allows for a new species to arise in the Halo series. This would be freaking awesome!! I hope that the new species appears in Halo 6 and helps Master Chief in kicking some butt!! -
My take on a better version of the Flare Cannon: (Forerunner) Flash Booster: It shoots a superheated ball of hardlight energy that sticks to players and surfaces like a plasma grenade.

New Ideas: (UNSC) RULE Pulser (OP, Look at entry below): Remote Ultra Light Electromagnetic Pulser. It sends out a massive blast of electricity the expands horizontally to two times the size at two times the distance beyond short range. It also decreases in damage with the increase in range. It paralyzes foes at medium distance for 1 second, and depletes their shields fully at that distance. It insta-kills foes at short range, but has less of a spread. It has a 1 shot chamber with a 2 second non-automatic reload time and a .3 second charge time. It has 4 shots in full. It also leaves an electric trace for 2 seconds on the ground (unless it was shot at a falling or flying enemy) that slowly depletes shields of anyone that walks over it, keep in mind that the area of this trace increases and decreases with distance from the gun to the ground that it hit. It has an instant hit from the time it fires. It disables vehicles for 1 second at any distance, and at short range it also fully depletes the players' shields inside those vehicles for the normal time. Edit: (Forerunner) (RULE Pulser 2.0) Paralyzer: Accelerated Hardlight Energy Pulser. I think the BR and the Carbine need to be sped up, because the DMR will almost always win in a fight between them. This would make them fully balanced, so that they all would have their perks. I don't know the exact times for kills, so I'll make it easier by making the kill times like 10 times what they probably are in this example. Let's say the current minimum kill time for the semi-autos (including the magnum) unzoomed is: Magnum 7s, DMR 9s, BR 9s, CC 9s, and Light Rifle 11s. Well it is harder to get all 7 shots on target to kill someone with the CC and all of the rounds from the BR's burst to hit at long range. So, it would be nice if the stats were changed to unscopped: Magnum 7s, DMR 9s, BR 8s, CC 8s, and Light Rifle 11s, with the Light Rifle still having the same or better than the magnum at 7s or 6.5s when scopped. I feel like this would be the best way to balance it out because of how much the DMR outclasses the other two rifles. The DMR already even has a better scope too.
-
See that would be something cool about it, because it would cause an explosion, but it would also harm the user if he were too close. To also balance it out, they could make any extra needles, over what it takes to supercombine, that end up going into the person, not explode, but shoot back at the shotgun wielder.

In the end scenes of the game, you can tell if you really pay attention, that Didact ended up in the same place as some other Forerunners are at. Now I don't know whether this is some sort of digital realm or whether he is with living Forerunners, I have no idea, but considering as how he is being tried yet again, I think he is with living Forerunners somewhere. You know that the speech that he gives is from now instead of millions of years ago, because he mentions that the reclamation has already began, which can only be when humanity has regained their power, and it is called the Reclaimer Trilogy after all.

Show me what forerunner AI's and maybe covenant AI's (if there are any) look like and act like. They may have already done this in previous Halos, but if they haven't, I want to see it in a new one. I know 343 guilty spark has a personality, but is it an AI?

The needler in Halo 4 sucks eggs!! You're lucky if you can get one kill with it, and even luckier if you can get 2.
-
I love the Railgun! You don't have to wait the entire time to fire it, and you can release it a little early. It's got a fair splash radius and it reloads fairly quickly. I haven't tried it on vehicles yet, but on players, it is a boss if you have any aim at all.
-
The DMR needs to stay at 5 and the BR needs to go down to 4 bursts. To balance the newer strengths of the BR, it needs to be nerfed by 10% on rate of fire.
-
The storm rifle and the DMR are my favorite primarys because they are the best in their class of weapon. The storm rifle gives you a great amount of shots to one target before overheating, and you can even use the whole battery without overheating, and if it does overheat, you can immediately press the sprint button, and it instantly cools down. The DMR has a really fast fire rate, is really accurate, lots of kills per magazine, and a high zoom.
-
The covenant have multiple weapons for a bunch of things. The fuel rod gun and concussion rifle are really similar. The beam rifle and focus rifle are similar. The covenant carbine and needle rifle are similar. The plasma rifle, storm rifle, and plasma repeater are similar. Why would it be such a big deal to add a third close range weapon? I think that this idea is awesome! They could make it like a double barreled shotgun that takes the time to reload two shots in the scattershot to reload both of the shots into it at once. It could have a better effectiveness at medium range if you aim head height. It has lots of bullet drop because of just slower bullets. It could have a longer time to fire the second burst. It could have a scope too, but it wouldn't change the accuracy, it would just make it easier to aim.

Are there any ideas of what might be in Halo 5 or 6, and not just wants like I put?

Post what you want to see and what you think will happen in the upcoming games Halo 5 and Halo 6. Beware, this contains SPOILERS from Halo 4, so turn back now if you don't want to know. What I want to see: Another Forerunner object that acts like the composer or somehow the return of the composer. So many things can be done with this. If the Prometheans are composed humans, that have been manipulated, then what would it look like to have composed grunts, jackals, squirmishers, elites, brutes, prophets, hunters, flood, or forerunners? This could open up the possibility for so many new enemies, or possibly allies. A new species that has been accepted into the covenant. It would be pretty cool to see a new face. I know the Prometheans are new, but I kinda want a new covenant enemy that is like a brute or elite, because they are kinda similar to humans, and they are a lot tougher. Be able to control characters other than Spartans. This wouldn't be that hard to do in multiplayer, I mean they did it in Reach, and that was awesome. I want to be able to control a Spartan, ODST, Elite, Forerunner, Flood (that doesn't have to just have a sword), or a new species that emerges. These other characters need to have full customization like Spartans do though. The Elites and Forerunners could have completely unique armors that could be changed up, and pieced together, and these could be even more unique than the Spartan and ODST ones. What sort of things aloud these worms to be sophisticated enough to fight in wars? Show me what forerunner AI's and maybe covenant AI's (if there are any) look like and act like. They may have already done this in previous Halos, but if they haven't, I want to see it in a new one. I know 343 guilty spark has a personality, but is it an AI? The return of the Flood in Halo 6 and maybe the end scenes of Halo 5. The series is after all called "Halo," so I want the Halos to be explored more. In the process of discovering the halos more, I want to see the flood be released again. Maybe the flood could be released in an attempt to combat against the Prometheans. If so, then maybe if Master Chief releases them, then he knows the cure for the flood, or he knows how to control them in future games. I want to know what the Precursors are like. Who were they, and what were they like? The return of all of the Covenant except those flying things. I want to fight the Brutes, Prophets or whatever, some Hunters, some Grunts, Jackals, and Skirmishers. This doesn't mean that people have to complain about people being really cheap by using armor lock all the time, because 343 could just keep some abilities out of matchmaking. I just want to be able to forge and have custom games with any of the armor abilities. I don't really know what they are putting in Halo 5 and Halo 6, so ya.

Hey guys this Thread is a place where the community can post great ideas on what could be improved upon as far as Forge and Custom games go. I'm kinda infuriated about most of the cuts that 343 made to forge pallets, gametype options, and object options. Here is a list of what I feel could be improved upon to bring Forge up to its full potential. 1. Bring back custom power-ups. The new Trait zones are awesome, and I love how you can have many different types of trait zones that can be placed; however, these trait zones are limited to one area of the map, and they apply to everybody. I feel that the reimplementation of custom power-ups would exponentially increase the number of cool gametypes that could be made. There are time limits on them, and it allows players flexibility all over the map on what sort of customizations could be made. 2. Bring back the option of changing the color of Mongooses. 3. Bring back the Covanant Forge items. 4. Bring back the ability to forge in water or the poison stuff in Erosion. There were quite a few maps that were made in Halo Reach that used water as a central theme, game mechanic, or part of the aesthetics of the map. I think it would be amazing to forge in that green stuff on Erosion because it could go well with the theme of a lot of maps. 5. Put more lighting on Erosion and Impact. I love the dynamic lighting that 343 implmented, but the players were promised that things wouldn't be too dark in places where they should be lit up. Even without items near certain places on Erosion, and a lot of places on impact, the natural structures are completely black, and a lot of times, they can't even be improved very much with lights. It's very frustrating trying to forge on a map without light. 6. Bring back some old Halo vehicles to forge with. This is a major want that I have heard over and over. People are really frustrated about the lack of a flying UNSC vehicle in Forge. Personally I want the chopper back. Don't say that that wouldn't work because there aren't any brutes in Halo 4, because 343 brought back the Gravity Hammer--a Brute weapon. 7. 8. Give us some of our old gametypes back!! These would include Halo Ball, Infection (or give us better options in Flood), Race, and Invasion. These gametypes span a lot of interests, and would satisfy almost any forger or person who plays custom games. These are the options that I can think of right now, but I may have more later. I may sound like a Bungie fan boy right now, but in fact it's quite the opposite. I love all of the new implementations and a lot of the revamps that 343 made to forge, gametypes, and overall the Halo universe. I just feel like 343 tried too hard to distance themselves from Bungie that they didn't bring back some key elements that made Halo Reach's Forge and Custom Games amazing. Don't get me wrong though, I do have a future wish list for things that haven't been implemented that I think would be awesome, but that's for a different time.
