  1. I love it, only wish Rockets was Rockets and not Railguns
  2. The campaign is my reason for buying any Halo game, I didn't even get into MM until Reach mainly because when it comes to Halo it's the story I love. When Halo 4 was announced I wasn't worried about gameplay or MM, I wanted to know where the story was going to go. And I think 343 did a great job on the story and I can't wait to see where it takes us next.
  3. Why would a highly advanced civilization incorporate a design flaw into a weapon that shows exactly where the shooter is aiming? Aside from gameplay reasons, if this part of the Binary Rifle operation is canon then wtf?
  4. This lol. Every time I get a power weapon I know my death will be coming very soon, many times before I get to use the weapon. Sometimes it seems like I'm calling in ordinance for the other team lol. Sometimes it just happens and that's the way it goes but it can still make you mad as heck.
  5. I see it a lot and some of it may be campers, and some of it may be people trying to get the Clever Girl achievement. Getting that achievement was the only time I've ever used camo and I have no plans of ever using it again.
  6. Not every single person who plays Halo 4 plays multiplayer, so just because MM stats are lower doesn't mean much. They were highest at release, then it tapers off over time. That's not dying, that's just how it goes. People play other games, they don't get on MM as much, etc. It doesn't mean they all got pissed at the game and quit. Over time a games population will decrease, it's normal, if not expected. It doesn't mean 343 failed, or that Halo is dying.

    Complex

The only time I encounter Complex is when I play SWAT and I refuse to play that damn map. If Complex pops up as one of the maps to vote on, I won't vote and if I see that Complex is going to win I back out back to the lobby. Sure it may be a d-bag thing to do but I personally refuse to play that map. Two reasons: first is most times I spend half the match simply trying to find a person to kill. And second, the one that was the last straw, a guy killed me, I respawn, he instantly killed me again, I respawn, he kills me instantly again. He got a triple kill off of me alone. And it's not because I suck, after I spawned I never got to take a single step before he popped me. So after that, screw Complex.
  8. Research them and find one you think you'll like and go with it. If you complete challenges and stuff you'll blow through those 10 levels and be on your next one. Personally I like pioneer because as was previously stated it's not much per match but it adds up quick, and who doesn't like free XP?
  9. To me the whole K/D thing reminds me of the arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics thing. Honestly who cares? I think mine is positive, but if it wasn't it wouldn't bother me one bit because it's a damn game. My skill in Halo doesn't define who I am and it's sad that there are people out there who feel it does. I play Halo to have fun, not participate in an online ******** contest. You can have good days where you'll play great and roll over people, and can have bad days where you can't hit anything, at least that's how it goes with me. Don't worry about your K/D at all, don't sacrifice your team in pursuit of personal glory. As stated, one of the best ways to practice is via team slayer. Learn the maps, learn to work as a team, anticipate what your enemy will do, learn to quickly adapt to different situations, etc. Find a play style YOU enjoy and don't be afraid to try new things, even if they seem stupid. But most of all, have fun. It's a game, and once you start treating it like it's more the less fun you might end up having.
  10. I don't like them, but I look at the radar a lot and when I see all the crap on the radar from the camo I make it a personal mission to kill them. I love it when they are camo'ed and looking right at you and they think you can't see them, then I plant a sticky on their forehead. Many times they are just a nuisance but it's a play style some like so I say let them have at it. Even though they are somewhat invisible, they're not invincible and there are always ways to counter them.
  11. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, or maybe it's random but I always see it. A lot of times pregame it'll show who has a mic, and then the game puts all those people on the same team. Like I said, it could be random chance but I see it all the time. Seems like giving that team a huge advantage over the team without mics.
  12. There's a couple small things I don't like about the game, but over all I love Halo 4. I figure it's 343's first game, they tried to make it their own and they tried different things. Some are good, some are not, but I feel they have learned a lot and the next Halo will be even better, and I can't wait to see what they deliver.
  13. Mine is LOCO for no real reason except that the ones I want to use aren't allowed on Xbox Live
  14. Well not really a gripe, just wish it worked differently. I just finished the Pioneer spec and I'm trying to figure out what to go with next. I hate that you have to fill your tactical slot with your spec. I wish once you mastered a spec then it's perk would automatically be active without having to actually select it. For the other specs I can see times when their perks would be useful, but I wouldn't use their perks all the time. For instance the Pathfinder perk, I only detach turrets here and there and it's not really worth having to select a new load out with the perk just in case I want to detach one. Same with most perks, they're handy in certain situations, but not all the time. Once you master a specialization its perk should automatically be active so if you find yourself in a situation where that perk is useful, it's already there and you're not in that situation wishing you had picked a load out where you had that perk active. For me personally, a lot of how I play in a match is based on opportunity. If I'm near a turret or vehicle I can use I grab it, but it's not what I constantly look for during a match so having to select certain load outs with different perks on them is kind of useless to me. Sorry if this is worded bad or poorly explained. I just think if you master a specialization you should get the perk active all the time instead of just the option to use it.
  15. If you know where they are, send out a hologram a few times and let them waste their ammo. A lot of times on Ragnarok when I'm about to go around a corner that will put me in view of the enemy base (where snipers love to camp), I'll throw the hologram out to test the waters. If they lose a couple rounds over it then bonus.
