You're saying that you can get put into a game that is about to end and get deranked? What is 343 doing?

I have no idea why they didn't add it. It's pointless to have it only visible through Waypoint. They have one of the best updates and then when people find out it's not visible, it makes you stop playing again.

They still have join in progress when you actually get ranked now? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of, except for not even having a rank without going to Waypoint. Wow, you add such a good aspect to the game and then make it worse 343.

Why add it if it won't be visible? You want to know why people are complaining? Why are they showing peoples CR Rank then? Why not just show the xbox live name of everyone in the game. Take away all ranks. If you are complaining about people complaining about it not showing a CSR rank, then we should take out everything except for the gamertags.

I 100% agree with adding the skill ranks for everyone to see. Without it, the game will fail. They already lost MLG and a lot of players because they didn't add true skill ranking at the beginning. YOU HAD YEARS TO DO THIS AND YOU ARE TAKING TOO LONG.

Honestly, if it isn't visible, what is the point? They should just have a 1-50 ranking system or at least a Halo Reach Arena ranking system. Just make social and ranked like they did for years. Or make it like Reach and have competitive playlists. It's not that hard.

They really need to add it already. It cannot be that hard to add. There is no point in playing right now other than to play against a bunch of bad kids the whole time. I want to have a little challenge, otherwise it is no fun.

Get rid of instant respawn, killcams, and actually start listening to the community. This is what they need to do.

Well maybe if they added a ranked system and a social system, no one would complain. I'm sick of people saying that a ranking system is a bad idea only because they don't agree with it. What about that other millions of people who want it? Halo 3 was perfect in my opinion, I don't understand why they wouldn't try to do that same thing. They literally just made Halo 4 look like a joke.

343 basically killed Halo 4. For those who are complaining that ranking systems shouldn't be added. You're all idiots. Halo 3 had SOCIAL and RANKED playlists. They had both because people could play SOCIAL or RANKED playlists. This attracted two types of players. For me, it was better because if I had a friend over, we could play social and not worry about losing a rank or anything like that. We could play to have fun. But, when I was home by myself and wanted to play for a challenge, I would invite some of my friends who are actually good and then we would go into a variety of different playlists to play against people who were doing the exact same thing. The matchmaking system right now is too boring for me. That's why there isn't as many people playing as there was in Halo 3 or Halo Reach. Halo 4 is an embarrassment to Halo's name. In all honesty.

If it was, I would be playing right now. But, no. They think it's a good idea to add playlists that under 5000 people will play.

The funny thing is. I disagree with everything you said. Join in progress is stupid. Starting unequal teams is stupid. Literally, I think an 8 year old could do better on this game.

No. Halo 3 was a lot harder to play than this crap. This game literally is the easier thing right now. They need to start taking out the bull. Instant respawn, killcam, ect.

It's making me sick. I have completely stopped playing any slayer gametype because of it. It would be terrible for MLG

I seem to have the exact opposite happen to me. My K/D is around 1.7 and my Win/Loss is probably around 3.5. When I go into Team Slayer Pro or Infinity Slayer, it's not even fun because of how bad the other team is. I do go in with a full team, but seriously? I cannot wait until actually skill ranks.

I think the assassination animations are stupid. They take too much time and 90% of the time, I die right after because they already called out where I am.

They had 2 years. 2 years and this is what we get? Honestly, listen to the community, they understand more than you because we've been playing the game longer than you.

We should be able to change it in our settings. I see no use for it. I have gone into Team Slayer Pro with 3 friend and we lost 1 person. A new person joins and had to have had the brain of a 2 year old. We ended up losing because of this one person. I don't like joining into game with a full team and then we are already losing 50 - 15. That is almost impossible to come back from. They should just take out joining-in-progress, it was a terrible idea and made the game that much worse.

It only affects a tiny amount of players? I seriously hope that is a joke. There are tens of thousands of people who hit the cap every day or every few days. What do they do once they hit the xp cap? They get off. I like how the person who created this worded it. We are being treated like children. Maybe they should just start checking the systems to see people getting massive amounts of xp and look into it instead of just taking it out on everyone. Feels like grade school when we used to get recess taken away from us because of 2 people talking out of 30 of us. Then we would lose it the next day because those same people started talking during our "detention" type of recess where we weren't supposed to talk. But, in this case.... There are millions of people who are getting penalized for something that a very very very very (x50) tiny amount of people do.

Obvious CoD fanboy. Halo has never had join-in-progress, why add it now? It also has never had instant respawn, why add it now? It has never had killcams, why add it now? It's always had some type of penalty for leaving, why change it now? Do you see a pattern here? The reason the game is getting so many rants is because 343 thought they were making it better. They did the complete opposite. Hopefully they listen to the community or this game, and the rest of the series of Halo are literally going down the drain.
