Agreed, plenty of BS going around here.
-
What I find annoying is how they blur out the map during the beginning of the game, it should be instantly recognizable and not have to make me think "which level was it? I missed the vote". And speaking of vote, why can't it be a nice wide shot of each map? Why a close-up shot of some obscure portion of the level? There is so much wrong and its frustrating.
-
I find CTF boring because there's no 1Flag for starters, but because most of the maps aren't that exciting. Screw Adrift, seriously. Also, why can't I *drop* the flag???
-
This is what makes the Halo games boring to me, nobody is trying to have any fun.
-
The specializations are stupid and utterly pointless. They're there to make people like you feel like you're missing out on something.
-
Been really f*cking laggy lately, playing from two different cities for me. Don't know what the issue is but its really frustrating.
-
Cause it sucks. Didn't bother buying it because all three levels look exactly the same. Creativity died somewhere.

That's funny, I don't ever recall saying that weapons should STAY AROUND FOREVER. That came out of your hole. Maybe you should reread as I said the weapon disappearance time is way too fast. and quite inconsistent. Oh Wow, you sure got me on that one! Gee willy, now I have nothing to retort with!
-
Because the weapon doesn't die? Weapons don't just disappear off the battlefield you know. Maybe they get rusty or damaged over time, but yeah. If you kill someone with a rocket launcher from a bit away, I would imagine you have enough time to run over there and pick up his weapon. Conclusion: Weapons disappearing is BS.
-
I get killed and my weapons fall, I spawn nearby and come back just to find out that my weapons that I had (DMR, Rocket, sniper, incinerator, etc...) weapons have disappeared. WHY? WHY? What is the point? Reach had the same issue, and now its plaguing Halo 4. You're lucky if you come back back to your area to find your weapon, why can't they just leave the timer for 60 seconds? If nobody picks up that weapons in 60 seconds after its dropped, THEN it can disappear. But literally 5 seconds after the weapons is dropped? That's just offensive.
-
I guess its not since it won't publicly show they didn't get the hill or ball points, but their KD will go up. Kills are obvious to get your objective. But kills to get kills and ignoring the objective is pretty much proof that you probably can't do much outside those matches. Super. I'll start killing my teammates from now because I can and that's what I want to do. If you're on my team, too bad. If you won't get punished then neither will I.

Well in the case of of a single person carrying the skull the entire game, the system would realize that no one else scored. Its not as important as just trying to single and boot the lame jerks who use the gametypes to increase their K/D numbers, its pathetic, and it ruins the game.
-
And by properly, I mean they join FFA, KotH, oddball, etc.. matches and simply go for kills. That's not the point of the match. If you want kills, then go play slayer! This is retarded, all you got is like 4 guys going invisible scoping in on the circle and getting kills. I'm just trying to play an objective game for fun, and these @$$holes need to ruin. It should be set so if you don't have a single point, you don't deserve to count any of your kills in those matches. Or better yet, the more points you have in koth or oddball, the more of your kills count. Something needs to be done because the system is already broken and it ain't any fun.

The first few days it seemed fine, but I see so much BS go on lately, that its driving me nuts. Both from my perspective, and the kill-cams, the enemy was not even facing/aiming me when delivering the final blow. I can't be the only one on this.

Two areas where I face utterly annoying background audio that just makes me take my headphones off, or lower the volume if I'm using the speakers. During the matchmaking selection and searching menus, its this kinda bassy gurgle, that just loops over and over, its atrocious. The second is in Forge mode, while your in editing mode, when you go all-spartan, you hear the similarly lowly-herz gurgling audio go away. This needs to be fixed, my brain is dying, I don't want to have to be toying with the audio up and down. And while we're on the subject of audio, I don't have a headset anymore, and listening to anyone in my party talking to me is a nightmare. It lowers the game volume to allow me to hear better, but its still not enough. I want to turn down the game audio much lower, and have the person's audio much louder. P.S Why does the xbox ask me every single time I sign-in where I want to save my data? Hard-Drive or cloud? Why can't it just remember?!!?

Ditto, I'm not a fan of Exile all that much. Its not horrible, but its kinda weird... I prefer ragnarok over it. I wouldn't mind playing vortex or Meltdown every few hundred or so games though!

Too many times I'll be boarded, and then my shield goes down because I was kicked in the face and ejected out of my vehicle. But then, to add insult to injury, I'm unable to move, look or properly work my AA. Personally I think this BS "disabled" effect is ridiculous. The enemy already too your vehicle, your shield is down, and now you can't even move?!
-
Just a few thoughts on AA. Jet-Pack: Not enough juice, sure maybe it was a tiny bit too good in Reach, but here its the opposite, not quite good enough. Promethean Vision: Should last longer, too short for what it offers. Thruster Pack: Pitiful. I thought it was pretty decent in Flood gametypes, then I used it outside, and "omg, seriously?" Its useless. Light Shield: Best balanced one I think, though its frustrating not being able to shoot/throw grenades until like 2 seconds after you take it down, allow me to do so sooner. Hologram: It works, nothing special. Something new could have been added to the functionality. Invisibility: Fair. The way it affects the radar is poor though. Reach was like "Holy crap someone is invisible near you!", and in H4, those blue squares mix in with everything around you so you won't even notice the invisible guy most of the time. Suggestion, make the squares blink or change the color to make it more obvious someone is invisible. Auto-sentry: Either it needs to do a bit more damage, or move around, because its currently under-powered. Regen-field: Can't say anything about this one because I've never used it!
-
I have had enough of being thrown into games that are less then 60 seconds being complete, almost half of my games search end up like this, ridiculous.
-
You can keep PP'ing the mantis over and over. It also then becomes a sitting duck for grenades!
-
The mech definitely feels like it has the right amount of power and is balanced, but against PP, its just embarrassing. I feel like its a slightly bit under-powered when facing off against warthogs, that or my ping gets high when I'm shooting them... Also, what's up with not being able to move after being boarded by an enemy? I absolutely hate not being able to turn/run/jet-pack, its kicking someone in the face while they're on the ground. Not only did you lose your vehicle, most of your health, and now you can't move, as if you weren't easy enough pickings already?
-
So I found out that as long as an enemy on foot has a plasma pistol (which you can spawn with automatically), it basically defeats your mech... Is it just me or is that stupid? Should it stop the mech's movement? Sure. Should it disable both the rockets and gun? NO. One of the changes I would make to Halo 4 is this. Another is not having the dropped weapons disappear so quickly. Its an insult, "can't get back to your weapon you dropped when you died after 5 seconds? Well too bad, it's gonna disappear now." Thoughts?
-
Is this supposed to be a joke? I go searching for a game, it joins me to an existing match, then not even 10 seconds later we lose. I've had it happen before where I don't even get to spawn and the game over comes as I'm third-viewing another player before I do my first spawn; Bam, Game over. Is there not some sort of snippet of code somewhere where it prevents new players from joining if the game is say... over 75% complete?! No offense, but this glitch is rather stupid. My three cents.
-
Another bug/glitch I found. In oddball, I'll have searched for a match and I'll be put in one where a team needs their player levels back up. I didn't even have time to spawn before the game was over. Like really? I go to search again and the exact same thing happened! Isn't it set to not accept new players if one team should be within 15% of winning the game or something?! Needless to say I just stayed with that party to avoid the issues again.
-
One more thing I forgot to mention, and to me its a biggie. Once you die and your weapons drop, they disappear WAY too fast, I went to theater and counted once, 5 seconds! And poof gone. Why can't fallen weapons stay there for a minute or two at least? I mean, say you just get a rocket launcher or sniper or whatever, as soon as you die you're pretty much guaranteed not to get it back again. I figured this would have be resolved with Halo 4, something that plagued me with Reach.
